Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan pendekatan PMR dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan pendekatan PMR (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pendekatan PMR terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI di SMA Plus Darul Hikmah tentang materi operasi hitung matriks. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang diguanakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI yaitu kelas XI A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI B sebagai kelas kontrol, dari setiap kelas diberikan pretest dan postest. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas dan dilanjutkan uji hipotesis dengan uji paired sample t-tes menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 21. Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh kelas eksperimen 85 dan kelas kontrol 75.83. Hasil uji paired sample t-tes menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0.025, karena 0.025 < 0.05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dari hasil uji paired sample t-tes dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh dari pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI tentang operasi hitung matrik di SMA Plus Darul Hikmah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui media pembelajaran berbasis android yang efektif untuk meningkatakan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembahasan trigonometri menggunakan metode jigsaw. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode komparasi dan eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelasiXIa sebagaiikelas kontrolidan kelasiXId sebagaiikelasieksperimen, dimanaimasing-masing kelas terdiri dari 25 peserta didik. Pertemuan yang dilaksanakan yaitu 6 kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pembelajaran jigsaw menggunakan mediaiberbasis android untukikelas Eksperimenidan metode konvensional untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa  yaitu  maka semua kelas di nyatakan homogen dan dengan nilai 12.28  1.978. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan jigsaw. Hal ini dikarenakan penggunaan media android pada metode jigsaw lebih menarik minat dibandingan dengan menggunakan metodeikonvensional. Sehingga penggunakan metode jigsaw berbantu android akan lebih efektif dalam proses pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Physical and motor skills can affect the way people view themselves and their environment. Physical and motor development in early childhood is very influential in shaping the child's personality and development thoroughly. This research aims to describe asana yoga for the physical development of early childhood motor, using qualitative research case study of research site in PAUD Bali Public School Denpasar. The main data source consists of teachers, students and five-and six-year-old schoolgirls and a yoga instructor. Data collection procedures using observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. While the data analysis is done during the ongoing research (on going proccess) with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data verification as well as data validationin the form of data triangulation and member check. The results of the research was obtained by the data that the yoga asana for early childhood in PAUD Bali Public School Denpasar is a routine event Monday through Friday. Asana Yoga is performed for five to ten minutes with various types of poses including cobra pose, tree pose, lion pose, lotus pose. Asana Yoga is presented in the form of story telling and games adapted to the theme of the PAUD Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH) such as animal themes, plants or environmental themes. The results of research in the field obtained data that, after the child performs regular yoga for three to six months with the correct movements, a significant increase in physical development as well motor and crude. Motor physical development in early childhood affects the development of the child in the future, to achieve optimal motor physical development should be given stimulation or stimulus in a variety of fun ways and in accordance with the growth stage of early childhood children

Abstract

This study focuses on the forms of errors made by students in solving math problems, especially on the material of a two-variable system of linear equations. The purpose of this research is  describing detail the form of errors made by students based on error indicators according to the Newman Stages. The data collection technique used is observation. By collecting data in the form of written test results from students, the forms of errors made by students were obtained, including: at stage (1) the form of the error was wrong in writing down known information, incomplete in writing down the information contained in the question, and wrong in determining the information in question, at stage (2) it is not appropriate to write a mathematical model from known information, and does not use variable symbols to simplify calculations, at stage (3) does not operate similar variables, substitutes wrong values, does not apply rules of operation, miscalculations, and did not get the final result of the calculation process, at stage (4) did not change the variable symbol into the form that the question asked, did not provide information on the final answer, and wrote conclusions but did not match what the questions asked.

Abstract

Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu menjelaskan tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran edukatif berbasis android dan menjelaskan cara menyusun dan membuat media pembelajaran edukatif. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di MTs Negeri 2 Jember dengan metode sosialisasi dan pelatihan media pembelajaran edukatif berbasis android. Pengabdian masyarakat ini terselenggara pada tanggal 12 September 2022 yang diikuti oleh 18 pendidik bertempat di MTs Al-Hidayah Jember. Pada pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh dosen Universitas Bakti Indonesia Banyuwangi yang terdiri dari tiga dosen dengan tiga prodi berbeda yaitu prodi pendidikan matematika, prodi pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra serta prodi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia dini. Pada pengabdian masyarakat menghasil produk media pembelajaran edukatif yang akan dievaluasi dan diuji cobakan pada peserta didik dimasing-masing sekolah guna untuk menguji keefektifan media pembelajaran edukatif berbasis android dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kemudian hasil angket dan kuisioner peserta pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya pelatihan ini dapat berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan pendidik dalam menyiapkan media pembelajaran edukatif. Pengoptimalisasi keterampilan pendidik tentang pembuatan media pembelajaran edukatif terbukti dapat dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan dan pembuatan media pembelajaran. Dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pendidik tentang pembuatan media pembelajaran edukatif untuk mempersiapkan pembelajaran yang interaktif. Peningkatan pengetahuan diharapkan dapat berbanding lurus dengan perubahan perilaku pendidik dalam peningkatan kemampuan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam memahamkan dan mengajari peserta didik dalam mempelajari materi matematika dengan media interaktif

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that aims to solve abstract problems that are changed to everyday problems. Based on the results of observations and interviews with mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Muncar, information was obtained that students' mathematical representation abilities were low, this was because teachers never connected mathematics material with everyday life. So the perception that mathematics is a difficult and scary subject takes root in students. Mathematical representation abilities can be developed using a learning model based on problem solving. Therefore, in this study, researchers used the Creative Problem Solving model as an effort to improve students' representational abilities.This research uses quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Muncar, while the sample of this study was students of class VIII A and VIII D. The sample selection in this study was carried out using students' end-of-semester test scores, then tested for normality and homogeneity. Meanwhile, to determine the experimental class and control class, the researcher used random sampling technique. This study aims to measure the effect of the Creative Problem Solving model on students' representational abilities and to determine the differences in student learning outcomes on the representation of function material using the Creative Problem Solving model. Based on the hypothesis test, the value of sig. (2 tailed) < 0.000 <0.05 can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Creative Problem Solving model and the representation ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Muncar.

Abstract

Poetry writing skills are one of the materials that require students to be able to present their written work. Based on the results of observations and interviews at SMP Negeri 4 Muncar, it was found that the eighth grade students had difficulties in writing poetry. Students tend not to be able to distinguish the vocabulary used in poetry and descriptive texts, so that students' work tends to lead to descriptive texts. One of them is the use of inappropriate learning media which affects the limited knowledge of students. In the learning process at SMP Negeri 4 Muncar using print media, namely package books. The use of this textbook is considered less effective in delivering the material, because students do not get real examples of the poem. Therefore, researchers use electronic modules as learning media. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The samples of this study were students of class VIII B as the experimental class and VIII C as the control class. The data in this study were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test of the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis in this study used the SPSS 26.0.0 application. This study aims to measure the effect of using electronic modules on poetry writing skills and to determine the differences in poetry writing skills using electronic modules. Based on the value of the pre-test results of the experimental class, the average value was 62.44 and the average value of the post-test results was 84.26. While the results of hypothesis testing are known to be sig.(2tailed) < 0.000 <0.05, there is an effect of using electronic modules on poetry writing skills in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Muncar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe role of elementary school teachers is required to be more creative and innovative so that learning can run well. Therefore, in improving the competence of elementary school teachers, an alternative to making interactive LKPD (Learner Worksheets) is needed to support the online learning process. The community service at SDN 3 Buluagung aims to assist in making LKPD online with liveworksheet to improve the competence of elementary school teachers to be more creative in using online media. Liveworksheet is an online learning platform that allows teachers to use e-worksheets or worksheets that can be done online and send answers to the teacher. On this platform, teachers can create interactive exercises such as multiple choice, short form, term order, and others. The results of observations made by the research are interviews, questionnaires, questionnaires and writing directly on paper. Materials for the implementation of the service in the form of laptops, computers and cellphones while the research material is the introduction of the liveworksheet platform as an alternative to making interactive LKPD. ABSTRAKPeran pengajar Sekolah Dasar dituntut untuk lebih kreatif dan berinovasi agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pengajar Sekolah Dasar maka diperlukan alternatif pembuatan LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) yang interaktif untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran secara daring. Pada pengabdian masyarakat di SDN 3 Buluagung bertujuan untuk mendampingi Pembuatan LKPD secara online dengan liveworksheet untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengajar Sekolah dasar untuk lebih kreatif dalam penggunaan media daring. Liveworksheet merupakan sebuah platform pembelajaran daring yang memungkinkan guru mnggunakan e-worksheet atau lembar kerja yang dapat dikerjakan secara online dan mengirimkan jawaban pada guru. Pada platform ini, pengajar dapat membuat latihan interaktif seperti pilihan ganda, isian singkat, urutan istilah, serta lain-lain. Hasil observasi yang di lakukan penelitian yaitu dengan wawancara, angket, kuesioner dan penulisan secara langsung di kertas. Bahan untuk pelaksanaan pengabdian berupa laptop, komputer dan handphone sedangkan materi penelitian adalah pengenalan platform liveworksheet sebagai alternatif pembuatan LKPD interaktif.

Abstract

The impact of the development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the world of work globally triggers the demand for Human Resources (HR) who have technological expertise. Technology integration in the education sector through learning media can be done as an effort to prepare graduates who can answer these challenges. Graphic User Interface (GUI) based learning media can be a way to introduce and increase digital literacy while increasing student interest in learning. The service activity is in the form of digital training related to the topic of unit quantity measurement in the form of a simple GUI-Python-based conversion application. This activity is expected to provide new insights related to programming and digital platforms and train students' computational thinking skills. The implementation of the service involved students of SMK Puspa Bangsa Banyuwangi as participants. The presentation method includes the delivery of introductory material and practice designing applications. The results of the service showed that around 80% of the participants were able to display, run and modify the conversion application.

Abstract

This study aims to develop early childhood language skills through storytelling methods. Early childhood is in its golden age where their development is very rapid and sensitive to various stimuli. Language as a means of communication plays an important role in child development. This study used literature study and interview methods to collect data. Data analysis is carried out with the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The findings showed that the use of media such as picture storybooks, hand puppets, calendar big books, series drawings, finger puppets, and flannel boards can significantly improve children's language skills. These media not only make storytelling activities more interesting but also support the development of receptive and expressive aspects of children's language. The conclusion of this study is that storytelling methods with the support of the right media can be an effective way to develop early childhood language skills
