Abstract

Tooth and gum disease is a condition that is widespread throughout the world. Examples of these diseases are caries and periodontitis. This condition is dangerous if left unchecked because infected tooth and gum microbes can migrate to other parts of the body, one of them is the cardiovascular organs. The aim of this research is to determine the manifestations of poor dental and gum disease conditions that influence the occurrence of heart or cardiovascular disease. The research method used was a literature review or literature study. Reference material was searched using secondary data through books, articles and national and international journals. Data collected relates to cavities, periodontal disease, and cardiovascular disease. Data search came from Google Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed according to keywords. The impacts of cardiovascular disease include bacterial endocarditis, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, hypertension, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, heart failure, arterial fibrillation, peripheral arterial disease and other cardiovascular diseases.

Abstract

Sebagai pendidik harus dapat memilah strategi yang tepat agar tercapai tujuan pembelajaran sesuai sasaran dan juga sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi mahasiswa. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan media yang sedang viral dan digemari oleh mahasiswa yaitu platform sosial video pendek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran MKWU Bahasa Indonesia Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Unissula menggunakan media platform sosial video pendek. Sering kita ketahui bahwa mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika identik belajar menggunakan teori dan rumus matematika. Menyikapi hal ini peneliti berupaya memberikan model pembelajaran dengan inovasi baru yang belum pernah digunakan sebelumnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian qualitative-descriptive research.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of divorce on children's psychological development, including changes in their behavior, emotional stability, response to stress, and adaptability, and to understand the factors that influence such impacts as social support and parent-child relationships. Methods – This research employing literature review methodology, this study delves into data extracted from pertinent journals, articles, and research studies. The collected data underwent thematic analysis to discern prevalent patterns and themes concerning the ramifications of divorce on children's psychological growth. Key areas of inquiry encompass behavioral shifts, stress levels, and resilience of children in navigating through the aftermath of divorce. Furthermore, this research endeavors to identify factors that may exacerbate or ameliorate these impacts, such as social support and psychological guidance. Findings – The findings of this study underscore that divorce can precipitate psychological effects manifested in alterations in children's behavior, emotional equilibrium, and sense of responsibility. Additionally, children may experience feelings of anxiety, distress, sadness, shame, and bewilderment following divorce. It is anticipated that the insights gained from this study will advance our understanding of the intricate ways in which divorce shapes children's psychological development. Research implications –The findings of this research contribute to theoretical frameworks regarding the psychological impact of divorce on children, shedding light on the nuanced interplay between familial upheaval and children's emotional well-being. This deepened understanding enhances existing theories of child development and family dynamics, offering insights into the mechanisms through which divorce affects children's psychological adjustment and resilience. Originality/value – The findings of this study provide novel insights into the nuanced ways in which divorce shapes children's psychological development. By highlighting the diverse range of psychological effects experienced by children following divorce, this study advances our understanding of the complexities involved in this process, thereby enriching theoretical frameworks in the field of child development and family dynamics.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Keberhasilan karya sastra menyentuh aspek emosional dan intelektual bergantung pada pengolahan unsur kebahasaan. Pemilihan kata yang tepat mampu menghidupkan suasana, memperdalam karakter, dan menyampaikan pesan secara berlapis. Stilistika mengkaji penggunaan bahasa estetis untuk menciptakan keindahan sekaligus kekuatan ekspresi. Kelebihan ilmiah penelitian ini terletak pada orisinalitas analisis diksi mendalam pada lagu kontemporer "Taruh" karya Nadin Amizah, sebuah kajian yang belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan karakteristik diksi dalam lirik lagu tersebut dengan pendekatan stilistika. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis stilistika sebagai landasan teoritis utama, dipilih karena sejalan dengan tujuan menggambarkan dan menafsirkan karakteristik diksi secara mendalam. Rincian temuan data adalah sebagai berikut: diksi denotatif (6 data), konotatif (8 data), unik/khas (2 data), slang (3 data), baku/formal (3 data), nonbaku (1 data), kata konkret (2 data), dan kata abstrak (3 data). Berdasarkan hasil analisis stilistika, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemilihan diksi dalam lagu "Taruh" menunjukkan karakteristik khas dengan nilai estetika yang kuat, didominasi oleh kata-kata konotatif yang menghadirkan makna kias dan memperdalam pesan.   KATA KUNCI: karakteristik diksi 1; lirik lagu “taruh” 2; nadin amizah 3; stilistika 4. >  CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LANGUAGE USED IN THE LYRICS OF THE SONG “TARUH” BY NADIN AMIZAH FROM A STYLISTIC PERSPECTIVE.   ABSTRACT: The success of a literary work in resonating emotionally and intellectually depends on its linguistic elements. Through precise word choice, authors evoke atmosphere, deepen characterization, and convey layered messages. Stylistics examines the aesthetic use of language to create beauty and expressive power. This study not only covers technical analysis but also how word choice and sentence structure produce rhythm and distinctive atmosphere. The scientific merit lies in its original in-depth diction analysis of a single contemporary song, "Taruh" by Nadin Amizah, a study never conducted before. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with stylistic analysis as its theoretical foundation, this study aims to describe the diction characteristics in the song's lyrics. Data findings include: denotative (6), connotative (8), unique/distinctive (2), slang (3), standard/formal (3), non-standard (1), concrete words (2), and abstract words (3). The analysis concludes that the diction in "Taruh" exhibits distinctive characteristics with strong aesthetic value, dominated by connotative words that convey figurative meanings and deepen the message. Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan kekeliruan berbahasa pada tataran morfologi teks deskripsi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 43 Semarang. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan pertimbangan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Data berupa teks deskripsi siswa dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan secara sistematis dan terstruktur. Hasil dari peneliti setelah meneliti menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan yang ditemukan meliputi penggunaan afiksasi, reduplikasi, serta penggunaan bentuk kata non-baku. Kekeliruan dominan terdapat pada aspek afiksasi atau imbuhan, khususnya dalam penulisan imbuhan tidak sesuai dengan kaidah yang benar. Selain itu, masih ditemukan ketidaktepatan dalam pemilihan bentuk kata yang sesuai dengan konteks kalimat. Temuan ini menjelaskan bahwa pengetahuan siswa terhadap tata cara kepenulisan, terkhusus dalam aspek morfologi, masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui latihan yang berkelanjutan, pemberian contoh yang tepat, serta bimbingan intensif dari guru agar kemampuan menulis siswa menjadi lebih baik. KATA KUNCI: Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa; Morfologi; Teks Deskripsi >  ANALYSIS OF MORPHOLOGICAL LANGUAGE ERRORS IN DESCRIPTIVE TEXT BY EIGHTH-GRADE STUDENTS AT SMPN 43 SEMARANG   ABSTRACT: This study aims to identify and explain linguistic errors at the morphological level in the descriptive texts of eighth-grade students at SMPN 43 Semarang. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using purposive sampling based on considerations aligned with the research objectives. Data in the form of students’ descriptive texts were collected through documentation, then analyzed through several stages, namely reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions in a systematic and structured manner. The results of the study indicate that the errors identified include the use of affixation, reduplication, and non-standard word forms. The dominant errors were found in the aspect of affixation, particularly in the incorrect application of affixes. Additionally, inaccuracies were still found in the selection of word forms appropriate to the sentence context. These findings indicate that students’ knowledge of writing conventions, particularly in the morphological aspect, still needs to be improved through continuous practice, the provision of appropriate examples, and intensive guidance from teachers to enhance students’ writing skills.
