Abstract

This research aims to gain information from various written sources related to the cooperative learning model of talking chips types in improving the oral language skills of students with visual impairments. This research was conducted using a content analysis-based literature review, involving 25 articles and 12 books. The research data used is in the form of secondary data taken from printed books, a collection of journals, previous researches, and relevant websites. The results of the literature review show: (1) cooperative learning model of talking chips types can improve oral language skills in composing simple sentences of students with visual impairments; (2) there are differences in the oral language skills between students with visual impairments low vision and blind; (3) the use of cooperative learning model of talking chips types becomes an innovation in the learning process of students with visual impairments. The results of this research implied that the cooperative learning model of talking chips types could serve as an alternative to improve the oral language skills of students with visual impairments.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style, motivation and compensation to employees performance of PT. Sumber Inti Pangan, Tangerang. Data taken in this research is 99 people taken by random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and then the data obtained are analyzed. From the results of hypothesis testing and analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, it is evident that the leadership, motivation and compensation significant influence on employee performance. The variables that have the greatest influence on employee performance is leadership. With the results of this analysis, the company needs to further encourage and apply the appropriate leadership style because it proved instrumental in improving the performance of employees in addition to the need for the leadership of the company continue to pay attention to employee motivation as this will encourage a sense of pride and a sense of belonging and loyalty is high. The same was done to efforts to improve the provision of compensation, either directly or indirectly to improve employee performance.

Abstract

The alliance strategy is one solution to the speed of competition in the business or business world. Strategic alliances are cooperative strategies in the form of partnerships that help unify each party's strengths to mutually benefit in the form of benefits and long-term competitiveness in the market. The alliance's strategy can be assessed as successful or not by measuring the strategic alliance's performance because the most commonly used alliance measure is performance. Whether or not an alliance strategy adopted by a company is healthy is to evaluate its alliance strategy's implementation. This research was conducted using non-sampling or census methods as many as 132 (one hundred and thirty-two) branches in DKI Jakarta in one of the companies in the education sector originating from Japan and developing an alliance strategy in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and met with the owners or direct branch leaders. From this study, it is concluded that Goodwill trust, Competence Trust, and Tangible & Intangible Resources Sharing positively influence the performance of the alliance strategy. Also, Tangible & Intangible Resources Sharing as an intervening variable can mediate the relationship between Goodwill trust and Competence Trust on the alliance's strategy's performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of occupational safety, work skills, and employability on stress and its implications on the labor productivity of construction service workers in Jabodetabek. This researcher uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample used in this study are 303 permanent workforce in the construction service sector of structure work ( formwork, putting ironn and casting ) who have a minimum of high school education equivalent that determines proportionate random sampling. The research data were obtained from distributing questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis supported by descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate occupational safety, work skills, employability and stress have a direct effect on work productivity; occupational safety, work skills and employability have a direct effect on stress; occupational safety, work skills and employability have a indirect effect on work productivity with stress mediation. Therefore, improvements in occupational safety, work skills, employability, and stress can increase work productivity. The novelty of this study is in the form of a research model of the effect of occupational safety, work skills, and employability on work productivity with stress mediation developed from previous relevant studies with construction service research locations in Jabodetabek, 2019.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of the role of supervisor and procrastination on the success of doctoral studies. The sample of this research was 149 alumni of the doctoral program in Indonesia who are taken randomly. A causal study using SEM PLS was implemented with Multi Group analysis (MGA) based on work groups between lecturers and non-lecturer employees. The results of this study indicated that the role of supervisor has a positive effect on the success of the study both as a whole and per group. The role of supervisor has a positive and significant effect on overall procrastination, but differs within the group, for lecturers it is not significant while for non-lecturers is significant. Procrastination as a whole sample has no significant effect on the success of doctoral study, as well as within the group. This can be concluded that the supervisor's role plays an important role in increasing the success of doctoral students' studies.Keywords: Success of study, role of supervisor, Procrastination.

Abstract

Teacher’s quality has a great influence on the success of achieving educational goals. Therefore, the teacher’s quality must be improved through an appropriate supervisory strategy. The purpose of this study was to determine the supervision strategy in improving the quality of teachers at Universitas Islam As-Syafi’iyah. The method used descriptive qualitative. Data collecting techniques were interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by using three stages: data reduction, data exposure and analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the supervisory strategy undertaken was the procurement of Mendeley training activities, training in the use of sisters and syllables, teaching and learning seminars, further studies, scholarships, evaluating teacher’s performance and auditing activities in stages and regularly. It had implications for the performance of teachers so that the learning process and teaching become more quality. Thus, educational goals that have been set can be achieved. Abstract

Perubahan mendasar dalam bidang pendidikan terjadi selama pandemi Covid-19. Dalam aktifitas pembelajaran khususnya, terjadi perubahan signifikan dari pembelajaran klasikal tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran virtual dengan memanfaatkan tekhnologi. Dalam pelaksanaanya hal ini memunculkan beberapa masalah baru seperti rendahnya minat belajar siswa. Meskipun penelitian terkait minat belajar siswa pada masa pandemi telah banyak diteliti akan tetapi masih sedikit yang berfokus pada literasi digital dan keterlibatan orang tua terutama pada siswa sekolah dasar. Dalam mengisi kesenjangan tersebut, penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengetahui apakah literasi digital siswa dan keterlibatan orang tua dapat menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey terhadap 49 responden siswa kelas VI di Sekolah Dasar Negri Benda, data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan smart PLS 3.0. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara literasi digital terhadap minat belajar siswa dengan nilai SEM sebesar 0,463. Kemudian keterlibatan orang tua juga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap minat belajar siswa dengan nilai SEM sebesar 0,423. Selanjutnya literasi digital dipengaruhi secara positif oleh keterlibatan orang tua dengan niali SEM sebesar 0,588. Hal tersebut memberikan gambaran bahwa terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung antara keterlibatan orang tua dan minat belajar melalui litersi digital. Hasil perhitungan statistik dalam penelitian ini minat belajar dapat terpengaruh oleh keterlibatan orang tua melalui literasi digital siswa, yang berarti literasi digital siswa dapat membantu menentukan besar atau kecilnya pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua terhadap minat belajar siswa dengan nilai SEM sebesar 0,272. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran bahwa literasi digital dan keterlibatan orang tua merupakan hal yang harus diperhatikan oleh pemangku kepentingan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi.
