Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the political participation and political behaviour of novice voters in determining their political choices in the Village Head Election and to determine the supporting factors in their political choices. Data analysis was carried out descriptively using Max Weber's theory of social action. The method used in this article is qualitative research supported by relevant literature studies. It is hoped that novice voters will be more active in participating in political activities by dividing their time between studying and participating in political activities. The results of this study show that the behaviour of novice voters in Jemundo Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency in the Simultaneous Pilkades in 2022 tends to be hesitant when viewed based on political behaviour and attitudes. Novice voters in Jemundo Village are opportunists in political behavior, using inconsistent and pragmatic forms of voter behavior.. Keyword: Novice voters, village head elections. Actions of Rationality. AbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui partisipasi politik dan perilaku politik pemilih pemula dalammenentukan pilihan politiknya pada Pemilihan Kepala Desa serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dalam pilihan politik pemilih pemula. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan teori tindakan sosial Max Weber. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan didukung oleh studi kepustakaan yang relevan. Diharapkan pemilih pemula lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan politik dengan cara membagi wakti belajar dan mengikuti kegiatan politik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perilaku pemilih pemula pada Desa jemundo Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo pada Pilkades Serentak tahun 2022 cenderung ragu-ragu & bila dipandang berdasarkan perilaku dan sikap politik. Pemilih pemula pada Desa jemundo adalah perilaku politik Opportunis menggunakan bentuk perilaku pemilih yg nir konsisten & pragmatis.

Abstract

Di era modern seperti saat ini, nilai yang ada dimasyarakat mengalami pergeseran, termasuk nilai haji. Dahulu, ibadah haji dimaknai sebagai nilai religius yang menjadi identitas bagi umat muslim. Sebagai nilai religius, ibadah Haji merupakan cara umat Islam sebagai penyempurna ibadah. Namun, saat ini ibadah haji lebih mengarah pada nilai simbol yang berfungsi untuk menaikkan status sosial seseorang di tengah masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana perubahan makna haji pada masyarakat di Kelurahan Lontar Surabaya. Teori konstruksi sosial perspektif Peter L Berger digunakan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pemaknaan masyarakat mengenai ibadah haji diera modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; Pertama, pemaknaan haji di era modern mengalami pergeseran, haji tidak lagi dimaknai sebagai penyempurnaan ibadah dan melaksanakan rukun islam yang kelima, melainkan makna haji telah bergeser menjadi upaya untuk mendapatkan gelar haji yang menjadi simbol untuk menaikkan status sosial dan mendapatkan prestise. Kedua, perubahan makna haji dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu; status sosial, prestise, dan penghargaan.

Abstract

During the pandemic it is not prohibited by the government and WHO. The public can still carry out activities procedurally. However, religious activities still hold. However, in the religious community they carry out in accordance with government recommendations. One of the activities that do not escape the characteristics of Muslims is the prayer assembly. The sholawat assembly is an activity carried out by a group of people who have such great love for the Prophet and God. The purpose of this study was to look at the views of the Anggaswangi village community, especially Youth Mosques on sholawat assembly activities during the pandemic. The method used is a qualitative research method, because researchers need to make an in-depth approach with the Anggaswangi village community in order to obtain data directly from informants. The theory used is the theory of social behavior from Max Weber. The theory explains that according to Weber, human individuals in society are creative actors and social reality is not a static tool of coercion of social facts. That is, human actions are not determined by norms, habits, values, and so on which are included in the concept of social facts. The initial assumption of this research is that the people of Anggaswangi village view religious activities as a form of love for God, but activities such as Majeliis Sholawat can also be used as activities to pray to God due to the situation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theory used is the theory of social behavior from Max Weber. The theory explains that according to Weber, human individuals in society are creative actors and social reality is not a static tool of coercion of social facts. That is, human actions are not determined by norms, habits, values, and so on which are included in the concept of social facts. Abstract

In Indonesia, a nation characterized by its diverse religious landscape, the phenomenon of interfaith families provides a distinctive lens to comprehend religious coexistence. This investigation delves into how religious beliefs are shaped within interfaith families, scrutinizing the ways in which these households manage the intricacies of varying religious views. Utilizing qualitative research methodologies, the study zeroes in on four Indonesian families, each hailing from different religious backgrounds. The research method includes thorough interviews and observational techniques, aiming to unravel the nuances of religious observance, communication, and the resolution of conflicts within these families. The results highlight the critical roles of mutual respect, transparent communication, and a collective dedication to familial harmony in preserving a balanced atmosphere. Notwithstanding their religious disparities, these families demonstrate significant levels of tolerance and comprehension, allowing individual members to freely engage in their respective religious practices. This study accentuates the significance of embracing diversity and nurturing tolerance as fundamental factors for the harmonious coexistence of varied religions within a domestic framework. AbstrakDi Indonesia, negara yang ditandai oleh pluralitas agama, fenomena keluarga beda agama menawarkan konteks unik untuk memahami koeksistensi agama. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konstruksi kepercayaan agama dalam keluarga beda agama, mengkaji bagaimana keluarga-keluarga ini menavigasi kompleksitas perbedaan keyakinan agama. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, studi ini berfokus pada empat keluarga Indonesia dengan latar belakang agama yang beragam. Melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi, penelitian ini menyelidiki dinamika praktik agama, komunikasi, dan resolusi konflik dalam keluarga tersebut. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa saling menghormati, komunikasi terbuka, dan komitmen bersama terhadap kesatuan keluarga sangat penting dalam menjaga harmoni. Meskipun ada perbedaan agama, keluarga menunjukkan tingkat toleransi dan pemahaman yang tinggi, dengan anggota keluarga bebas mempraktikkan keyakinan masing-masing. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya merangkul keragaman dan menumbuhkan toleransi sebagai elemen kunci dalam koeksistensi damai agama yang berbeda dalam satu keluarga.
