Abstract

The data processing process at Toko Karunia in Trangkil Village still relies on manual recording. This method still poses many risks such as inaccurate product recording, slow sales reports, and a higher risk of data loss, all of which have an impact on the work efficiency of the shop owner. The purpose of this research is to solve the problem by designing a web-based Point of Sale (POS) application according to the needs of the store. The application design method uses the waterfall method with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. The application design process in this study is carried out sequentially. Starting with requirements analysis, system design, system development, system testing, and system implementation. At the application development stage, the programming language used is PHP with the Laravel framework, with the MySql database. After the application has been designed, it will be tested through the Black Box Testing method. As a result, the main features such as login, managing categories, products, members, suppliers, transaction features, and printing reports function properly. Overall, this POS application improves all aspects such as speed, accuracy, security, and ease of accessing data. This application also strengthens Toko Karunia's position to keep competing in the digital era. Keywords: Point of sale, PHP, Waterfall, Laravel, MySql

Abstract

The Web-Based Sales Information System at Inenndo Konveksi Printing is a modern solution for managing sales processes and data management in the printing industry. With increasing customer demand for printing services, the need for an efficient and integrated system is becoming increasingly important. This study aims to develop a web-based sales information system that enables Inenndo Konveksi Printing to improve operational efficiency, expand market reach, and enhance customer satisfaction. The system development method uses a web-based software development approach and a literary methodology using the waterfall method through the stages of system design requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance, with the Larafel framework. Various key features have been implemented in the system, including product management, online ordering, order tracking, inventory management, and sales reporting. Integration with an online payment system allows customers to make payments easily and securely. System evaluation was conducted through functional testing and collecting feedback from users. The evaluation results show that this system successfully meets the business needs of Inenndo Konveksi Printing and helps improve their operational efficiency. Customers also provided positive feedback regarding the system's ease of use and a pleasant online shopping experience. Overall, this Web-Based Sales Information System significantly improves Inenndo Konveksi Printing's business performance and strengthens its position in the competitive printing market. With the right technology, printing companies can leverage the full potential of web-based information systems to optimize their operations and meet evolving market demands.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on various industries, including the retail sector. However, Atika Store still relies on manual methods in managing its cashier and inventory, leading to inaccuracy, inefficiency, and poor control over stock and sales reports. To address these issues, this study employs an applied research method aimed at producing practical solutions that can be directly implemented. A web-based application is developed using the Waterfall system development method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system integrates sales, inventory management, and cashier functions into a single platform. Key features include automatic receipt printing, sales transaction recording, real-time stock updates, and role-based user access. It is expected that this system will help MSME owners improve operational productivity, minimize manual errors, and support more effective decision-making.
