Abstract

Frozen shoulder is an aetiological condition characterized by significant limitation of active and passive motion of the shoulder that occurs due to deep tissue damage. In addition, a frozen shoulder is described as a shoulder condition characterized by pain and limited range of motion (ROM). Frozen shoulder occurs when the joint capsule that surrounds the shoulder joint becomes shriveled and forms scar tissue, a condition known as shoulder adhesive capsulitis. To find out the physiotherapy management for frozen shoulder dextra by using short wave diathermy and codman pendulum exercise modalities to reduce pain and increase joint range of motion. After performing physiotherapy four times with short wave diathermy and codman pendulum exercise modalities, the result showed a decrease in pain and increase in joint motion. short wave diathermy and codman pendulum exercise can reduce pain and increase joint range of motion.

Abstract

Explosive power is one of the important biomotor components in sports activities, because explosive power will determine how hard people can hit, how high they jump, how fast they run and so on. One of the plyometric exercises is the depth jump. Depth jump is an exercise performed by performing a maximum jump as soon as the athlete jumps down from a height. Depth jump is a plyometric exercise using additional equipment, namely a plyometric box. Objective: To find out the benefits of plyometric depth jump training on increasing the explosive power of leg muscles in basketball athletes. After the plyometric depth jump exercise, an increase in leg muscle explosive power for 4 times of therapy can be seen, the effect of the plyometric depth jump exercise on increasing muscle explosive power. Plyometric depth jump is more effective to increase leg muscle explosive power.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pos Upaya Keselamatan Kerja (Pos UKK) merupakan layanan untuk peningkatan dan pemeliharaan kesehatan bagi pekerja. Permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu: (1) Belum optimalnya pelaksanaan Pos UKK; (2) Belum ada Program Keselamatan Kerja bagi pekerja batik: (3) Edukasi di puskesmas hanya berupa konseling individu; (4) Pendidikan pekerja batik SMP dan SMA sehingga pekerja batik tidak mengetahui gangguan kesehatan akibat membatik; (5) Adanya pekerja batik yang menderita low back pain (LBP); dan (6) Pekerja batik mengatasi nyeri musculoskeletal melaui tukang pijat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader/fasilitator dalam memberikan layanan Pos UKK gangguan muskuloskeltal. Metode yang dilakukan memberikan pelatihan, sosialisasi dan demonstrasi penatalaksanaan fisioterapi Jumlah peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarat ini 13 orang dengan mitra Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman Pelayangan Kota Jambi. Evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner pre test dan post test dengan jumlah 15 pertanyaan dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Hasil yang diperoleh terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kader dan fasilitator yaitu diketahui pengetahuan responden sebelum diberikan pelatihan dengan kategori baik 38.5%,dan pengetahuan kurang 61.5% setelah diberikan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan responden dengan katogori baik 53.8% dan kurang 46,2%.Abstract: The Occupational Safety Effort is a service for improving and maintaining health for workers. The problems found were: (1) The implementation of the Occupational Safety Effort was not yet optimal; (2) There is no Occupational Safety Program for batik workers: (3) Education at the health center only takes the form of individual counseling; (4) Education of middle school and high school so that batik workers are not aware of the health problems caused by batik; (5) There are batik workers who suffer from low back pain (LBP); and (6) Batik workers treat musculoskeletal pain through masseurs. The aim of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of cadres/facilitators in providing Occupational Safety Effort services for musculoskeletal disorders. The method used was to provide training, socialization and demonstration of physiotherapy management. The number of participants in this community service activity was 13 people with partners at the Tahtul Yaman Pelayangan Jambi City. The evaluation was carried out by providing a pre-test and post-test questionnaire with 15 questions and an unstructured interview. The results obtained were an increase in the knowledge of cadres and facilitators and the formation of an innovative the Occupational Safety Effort with musculoskeletal disorders, namely that the knowledge of respondents before being given the training was in the good category, 38.5%, and knowledge was poor, 61.5% after being given the training, there was an increase in the knowledge of respondents in the good category, 53.8% and poor. 46.2%.
