The training material explains competence and dimensions of entrepreneurial competence (the ability to see opportunities, achievement motivation, and persuasion abilities). The entrepreneurship competency training and coaching clinic were well organized as expected. If the COVID-19 pandemic has been resolved, training and coaching clinics can be carried out face-to-face. Each region in Indonesia has a different culture; if the training is carried out at the location of the entrepreneurs, the topics and methods will be more specifically adapted to the culture of the entrepreneurs who are the participants.

Abstract

Intense competition and unpredictable conditions have made problem-solving more challenging. Unlike the relatively stable markets of the 20th century, today's world is characterized by VUCA: volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. SMEs, which make up the majority of businesses globally, are particularly affected by these changes. Entrepreneurs, as the driving force behind SMEs, play a crucial role in both developing and developed economies. Their contributions significantly impact economic growth, as recognized by governments. Research indicates that personality traits can accurately predict business behavior and success, emphasizing that entrepreneurship is a dynamic process requiring continuous effort to deliver products or services that bring financial and personal rewards. The archetype approach, which explores personal dynamics and environmental interactions, provides insights into entrepreneurial success. Archetypes represent patterns of perception, memory, and action that align with ancient motivational and emotional systems, helping to explain how the mind navigates social complexities. The Hero's Journey as an archetype framework offers a valuable perspective on personal development in a career context, addressing universal human motivations across cultures.

Abstract

Understanding entrepreneurial success involves exploring various factors, including personality traits and their impact on business outcomes. This study explores the relationship between entrepreneurial personality archetypes and business success among SMEs in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 500 MSME entrepreneurs via paper-and-pen and online questionnaires. Pearson Correlation analysis revealed significant positive correlations between business success and the Caregiver (r = 0.243), Seeker (r = 0.340), Lover (r = 0.227), Ruler (r = 0.316), Magician (r = 0.290), Sage (r = 0.277), and Jester (r = 0.235) archetypes. In contrast, the Destroyer archetype showed a negative correlation (r = -0.222). These findings suggest that archetypes promoting self-expression and personal growth positively influence entrepreneurial success, while those focusing on efficiency and results may hinder it. The study underscores the value of aligning personality traits with business strategies to improve outcomes and recommends further research on practical applications in entrepreneurial training programs.

Abstract

Female leaders from the sandwich generation face challenges not only in the workplace but also in their domestic roles. They have multiple roles simultaneously, such as being parents and children, each with different role demands. This study aimed to review the literature on wellbeing at work and evaluate the extent to which the literature on this topic covers the issue related to female leaders of the sandwich generation. The literature reviewed in this research was articles published in accredited and reputable journals, using quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as research within the organizational scope. The study found several variables that were positively related to wellbeing at work, including personality type, resilience, work-life balance, perceived organizational support, social support, coping strategies, organizational culture, and cognitive flexibility. The findings indicate that work-life balance is often positioned as a key factor directly influencing wellbeing. However, many studies also highlight its role as a mediator in the relationship between both internal and external predictors and wellbeing. Given the importance of work-life balance for female leaders in the sandwich generation, the researchers proposed a model that emphasizes factors receiving less attention in workplace well-being research but are critical for this group. Specifically, the researchers suggested that cognitive flexibility and creative adaptability are important internal factors, while perceived organizational support is a key external factor affecting the wellbeing of sandwich generation female leaders. In this model, work-life balance mediates the influence of these factors on wellbeing.

Abstract

Technological advancements in Society 5.0 have integrated humans with technology, encouraging millennials to prioritize their careers, maintain work-life balance, and pursue growth. A study involving 198 millennial employees (aged 24–43, each with at least two years of full-time work experience) investigated the impact of organizational commitment and perceived organizational support on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The results showed that while affective commitment and perceived organizational support significantly influenced OCB, continuance and normative commitments did not. These findings suggest practical implications for organizations seeking to enhance OCB among millennial employees. Specifically, developing targeted programs to strengthen affective commitment and enhance perceived organizational support – by making it more tangible and impactful for employees – can serve an effective strategy for fostering positive organizational behavior.
