Abstract

Abstract—The theory of positive psychology pioneered by Martin Seligman focuses on efforts to explore and developcharacters as the human strengths. By exploring and developing the positive side of the individual will lead someone tohave true happiness. Human life will be meaningful if the positive side of humans can be maximally developed. Byapplying positive psychology, it is expected that lecturers can carry out guidance and counseling for the development ofstudent personalities. Personality developments needed are intrapersonal, interpersonal, problem solving, learning andprofessional skills. The Daily Journal of Gratitude is an activity that can be applied to motivate the growth of gratefulhabit which is an aspect of positive psychology. Gratitude as a cognitive construction is shown by acknowledging mercyand kindness for the blessings that have been received by a person and focusing on the positive things. The connectionwith personality development is the ability of students to develop intrapersonal skills. As an emotional construction,gratitude is characterized by the ability to change the emotional response to a thing happened so that it becomes moremeaningful. This is related to the development of students when facing other people or the ability to developinterpersonal skills. Gratitude emotions involve feelings of amazement, gratitude, appreciation and happiness for theblessings and the life to be lived. Gratitude as a construction of behavior is kind of respond in return to others for thebenefits and gifts received . Personality development in the construction of behavior is related to learning skills,problem solving skills and professional skills. By applying the Daily Journal of Gratitude it is hoped that students canbe guided and counseled to become individuals who are able to develop optimally in their lives on campus up to thegraduation day, so that they can have the skills to interact in a complex and diverse multigeneration environment.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional supervisor terhadap mutu pelayanan pramuniaga. Mutu pelayanan pramuniaga termasuk penampilan fisik, responsif, tanggung jawab, jaminan dan empati. Sedangkan kepemimpinan transformasional terdiri dari 5 aspek, idealized influenced, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation dan individualized consideration.  Terdapat tiga puluh dua karyawan Flora Grup yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimental design yang mengukur pretest dan post test kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Hasil analisa data post test , t = 10,775, dengan p = 0,000 yang artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

Abstrak: Spiritualitas merupakan hal yang penting untuk menciptakan manusia yang berkualitas dan manusia yang mampu memahami kebermaknaan hidup. Kemampuan memahami kehidupan dapat membuat seseorang meraih makna dan mengembangkannya menjadi suatu kebahagiaan. Membangun spiritualitas bukanlah sekedar melakukan ritual keagamaan Upaya membangun nilai-nilai spiritual dapat dilakukan pula dalam berbagai kegiatan yang mampu menerima keberagaman sehingga dapat menambah wawasan tentang makna hidup bagi seseorang. Berkembangnya spiritualitas juga dapat ditemukan pada kehidupan komunitas yang memiliki rasa kebersamaan dan kekeluargaan yang kuat. Resimen Mahasiswa merupakan suatu komunitas yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tentang adanya penguatan spiritualitas yang dimiliki oleh anggota Resimen Mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan di dalam komunitasnya.Kata kunci : Spiritualitas; Resimen Mahasiswa

Abstract

Being a good leader is a result of learning. A good leader criterion in most of people’s head is either success in completing organizational tasks or beloved by most of members. That criterion is really difficult to be learned and then be internalized. Based on the social learning theory, one learns to be a leader through observation process as the first step. In daily activity, there are many leaders but only certain leader who is observed about his or her behaviors in detail. That observed leader usually success in completing organizational tasks and also beloved by his or her members. After observation, the next process is memorizing those behaviors. The next stage is trying to produce those behaviors. This third step can be achieved through leadership training. In that training, one is motivated to produce and imitate those behaviors. After training, one can practice the new leadership behaviors in daily activity if he or she receives behavior reinforcements. Because of those reinforcements, the new leadership behaviors will be his or her good habits. Actually, in that leadership training, one can learn either being a good leader or good member. Being a good member, one should be able to inspire either other members or leader. He or she should not be a problem source but a solution source.

Abstract

ABSTRACTObjective of this paper is to explain behavior alternatives for employees ,'ho have job dissatisfaction. When accomplishing job task, the religious employees will certainly practice one of their code of belief that working is a kind of religious service. They work vigorously as if tomorrow will he the end of the world. When their organization is going to collapse, the religious employees experience cognitive dissonance (hopes and realities are unsynchronized). They have difficulties in practicing that working is a kind of religious service.There are four behavior alternatives in order to lessening cognitive dissonance i.e. exit or leaving organization (active destructive), neglect (passive destructive), loyal (passive constructive), and voice (active constructive). The voice alternative is the most appropriate behavior for the religious employees, but it less likely to give maximal improvement either for employees or organization.The suggested alternative in this essay is the adapted negotiation alternative which employees have to change and improve themselves. Through improving themselves, they have opportunity either to perform high quality job accomplishment or supporting friends to accomplish their tasks. The adapted negotiation is applying religious service that giving firstly, then we will receive abundance i.e. having creative ability in job accomplishment, ability to act positively in chaos situation, and having good mental health. Changing ourselves is really difficult. However there are precious words which could be our guidance that the crucial factor in achieving success is not the obstacle existence but our unconstructive attitude in facing that obstacle.Key words: Job dissatisfaction, religious service, adapted negotiation

Abstract

There are several problems faced by 14 deaf students as the subject of this research. They get diffiulties in understanding long sentences, connotative meaning, and they lack on vocabulary. Their inability in hearing makes them rely on their vision to gather information. Considering the reason of their difficulties, visual and attractive learning media are needed for deaf students. Group guidance on simulation game technique is a counseling guidance service that directs students to reflect daily activities in the form of games using physical media such as blue cards, OK cards and chance cards. In the group guidance of the simulation game technique, students learn to understand new vocabulary of the role played and can acquire vocabulary. The more vocabulary mastered will support students' ability to have receptive communication. To prove the hypothesis that the group guidance of simulation game technique influences the improvement of receptive communication of deaf students in SLB.B Wiyata Dharma 1, the Mann Whitney U Test analysis is used. Based on Mann-Whitney U-test Asymp Sig was obtained (2-tailed) 0.013 with an error level of 0.05 then 0.013 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It implies that the group guidance of the simulation game technique has an impact on increasing the receptive ability of deaf students. Therefore, group guidance on simulation game techniques can be used as an alternative learning media to improve receptive communication for deaf students.

Abstract

Aliran psikologi positif mencoba memfokuskan perhatian pada upaya menggali dan mengembangkan karakter yang merupakan sisi kekuatan manusia. Dengan menggali dan mengembangkan sisi positif individu akan menghantarkan seseorang pada kebahagiaan yang sesungguhnya dan mampu berfungsi secara optimal dalam kehidupannya, baik sebagai individual, anggota keluarga, anggota masyarakat dan negara. Kehidupan manusia akan bermakna jika sisi positif manusia bisa maksimal dikembangkan. Dengan menerapkan psikologi positif diharapkan dapat membentuk mahasiswa yang berperilaku baik dan mampu berkembang sesuai kompetensi yang dimilikinya. Implementasi psikologi positif diharapkan dapat membentuk pribadi mahasiswa yang dapat mengembangkan sisi positif dalam dirinya, mengembangkan emosi positif dalam berhubungan social dengan orang lain, berpikir positif dalam mengatasi berbagai problem yang dihadapi, memiliki sikap positif dalam belajar dari kesalahan dan pada akhirnya dapat mengintegrasikan seluruh materi kuliah pengembangan kepribadian sesuai dengan hard skill yang diperoleh dari masing-masing jurusan yang diminatinya. Kata Kunci: Psikologi positif ; Pengembangan Kepribadian MahasiswaABSTRACTThe positive psychology tries to focus attention on the effort to explore and develop the character which is the human strength side. Abstract

Fenomena yang terjadi di masyarakat, yaitu hadirnya inovasi teknologi jasa keuangan khusus nya  Peer to peer lending. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana gaya kognitif konsumen dan kemampuan kognitif konsumen menyikapi Peer to peer lending  legal maupun ilegal dalam literasi keuangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 30 responden yang pernah melakukan pinjaman online melalui fintech peer to peer lending. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat sebagai konsumen yang menikmati layanan jasa Peer to peer lending  cenderung memiliki tingkat literasi keuangan yaitu Sufficient literate. Gaya kognitif yang ada di dalam masyarakat saat ini memiliki pengetahuan dan keyakinan tentang Peer to peer lending  yang memberikan layanan jasa keuangan berupa pinjaman online, fitur yang tersedia, mekanisme , manfaat dan potensi risiko  di masa yang akan datang, serta hak dan kewajiban terkait layanan jasa keuangan. Namun tidak memiliki keterampilan menyelesaikan masalah saat menggunakan produk dan jasa keuangan. Tekanan psikis yang dialami konsumen pinjaman online merupakan dampak dari ketidakmampuan dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada saat penagihan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah masuk hampir disegala aspek kehidupan manusia, salah satunya di dunia pendidikan. Pada jenjang perguruan tinggi, teknologi informasi yang diterapkan adalah website akademik yang dapat dikatakan menganut prinsip usabilitas. Segala permasalahan yang ditimbulkan oleh website akademik dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan emosional mental dan kondisi psikis mahasiswa. Hal ini dapat ditinjau melalui flourishing. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara usabilitas website akademik dengan flourishing pada mahasiswa di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini mengambil 140 responden pengguna website akademik berusia 18-25 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala usabilitas yang disusun berdasarkan teori Nielsen (1993) dan skala flourishing yang disusun berdasarkan teori Seligman (2012). Pengolahan data menggunakan korelasi product moment dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 24.0 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tingkat usabilitas website akademik Universitas di Yogyakarta adalah sedang dengan persentase sebesar 62,1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pula dinyatakan bahwa tingkat flourishing mahasiswa Yogyakarta berada dalam kategori sedang dengan presentase sebesar 73%. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05, artinya diterima Ha. Sementara itu nilai koefisien kedua variabel adalah 0,508. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya korelasi dengan arah positif antara variabel usabilitas dengan flourishing dan secara statistik korelasi tersebut signifikan, yang artinya semakin tinggi tingkat usabilitas website akademik, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat flourishing mahasiswa di Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Being self-aware does not mean being self-critical; rather, it means having a high regard for yourself or your rival. Three factors are associated with self-acceptance: psychological well-being, acceptance of others, and our reluctance to communicate our thoughts, feelings, and reactions to others openly. Adults with broken homes background find that self-acceptance is crucial for their ability to adjust and develop tolerance for external conflict. This study uses self-acceptance theory to analyze. This study aims to discover how children’s dynamics of self-acceptance break down at the adolescent stage of life. Besides, it is expected that this study will help to provide new insights for parents who choose to separate from their children in the aftermath of a divorce. The study’s participants were 16–18-year-olds from broken homes in Sleman, Yogyakarta. This study combines a case study method with qualitative study techniques. Techniques for gathering data include documentation, observations, and interviews. The study’s findings showed Adolescents with broken home backgrounds do not mean that they cannot accept who they are. The pattern of parenting, the healthy bond between parents and children, the social support offered by the family and other social environments, and effective communication between the child and the parent are some of the factors that reinforce self-acceptance.
