Abstract

Abstract The objective of this research was to investigate comprehensively the effect of learning model and student’s thinking style on the Arabic reading achievement of the second semester student of the Arabic Education Program, the Faculty of Language and Arts, University of State Jakarta, academic year 2016/2017. This was an experimental research using a two-factor ANOVA at 0,05 and 0,01 significance level. The data was collected using the Arabic reading test and thinking style questionaire. The findings above led to a conclusion that generally cooperatif of MM was more effective implemented than cooperatif of NHT in Arabic reading achievement. Moreover, the students’ thinking style affected their Arabic reading achievement as well. Keywords : Arabic Reading Achievement, Cooperative Learning, Thinking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar membaca (qirā’ah) mahasiswa semester II tahun akademik 2016/2017. Prodi. Pendidikan Agama Islam, STAI Indonesia Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen yaitu tes membaca bahasa Arab. Temuan penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar qirā’ah pada penerapan pembelajaran koopeartif MM lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif NHT.

Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan gambaran kehidupan sosial masyrakat yang disusun fiktif namun tetap terangkat dari fakta-fakta empiris. Naskah drama Harimau di Hari yang ke–10 adalah karya sastra dari Syekh Zakaria Tamir yang hidup di zaman Perang Dunia I dan II. Seperti kita saksikan bersama bahwa pengarang merupakan kelahiran Suriah, hidup ketika sedang terjadi perang dunia I dan II. Bangsa Suriah yang merupakan turunan bangsa Semit memiliki kebudayaan tinggi dan sempat menguasai wilayah yang cukup luas dari masa ke masa baik pra Islam maupun pasca Islam, pada saat itu (kondisi ketika pengarang membuat naskah) bahkan sampai kini kekuatan dan kehebatan bangsa Suriah sudah dikuasai oleh bangsa asing yaitu Perancis (Suriah di bawah kendali Perancis) dan negara-negara barat lainnya. Melakukan analisis naskah drama dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotik sama seperti menganalis naskah jenis sastra lainnya yang menggunakan pendekatan semiotik, yaitu bertujuan menemukan makna yang terkandung di balik setiap tanda. Simbol-simbol yang ditampilkan adalah simbol Hamriamu sebagai lambang kekuatan, lapar sebagai lambang kelemahan, pawang sebagai lambang kecerdikan, penonton sebagai lambang provokasi.

Abstract

Today Arabic is no longer the language of the Islamic holy book but has become an international language, the ministry of religion revised the curriculum by adding a special point, namely Arabic learning is directed at communicative. The research method used is content analysis with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique is documentation, while the aim is to determine the suitability of MTs textbooks with CEFR standard measuring instruments. From the results of the analysis it was found that the content of the MTs Arabic textbook material was generally at the level of A1-A2 on the CEFR standard, this level was in accordance with the needs of MTs students, but in terms of presentation it was still not appropriate because the portion of the material was still dominated by understanding the text. it is necessary to readjust the preparation of material that focuses more on the Arabic language needs of students and more contextual and provides a larger portion of language skills practice activities.

Abstract

The Arabic language learning curriculum in universities in Islamic Banking Study Program of STEBANK follows the institution's curriculum. The study program formulates its curriculum in addition to being based on the KKNI formulation also based on needs and environmental analysis, then from these formulations various competency standards that must be mastered will be produced in order to reflect competence of graduates according to the curriculum, the study program imposes the burden on Arabic language learning to master certain Arabic language skills that support graduate competence. The research method used is qualitative approach. The data collection technique is documentation, while the purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the use of the Arabic curriculum in the Islamic banking study program STEBANK, tertiary institution. The Arabic language curriculum in this program is designed so that students are able to master the basic elements of Arabic and are able to master the elements of Arabic skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing in the fields of Muamalah and Islamic Economics.

Abstract

Islamic Banking Study Program STEBANK Islam Mr. Sjafruddin Prawiranegara is a private Islamic religious higher education institution with two credits in Arabic language learning as one of the instruments used to achieve a graduate profile. The learning achievement target with the weight given is very minimal; therefore, in order for Arabic language learning to be effective and efficient, independent learning needs to be designed which is supported by an online system that provides learning freedom; this is as recommended by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religion. This descriptive qualitative research describes the design of online Arabic language learning based on independent learning in the Sharia Banking study program at STEBANK Islam Mr. Sjafruddin Prawiranegara. The results show that although independent learning tends to be directed at skill mastery in non-formal education, the principles can be applied to formal education by providing limits in the form of competency mastery targets with a time duration determined by the institution that learners must adhere to with a learning system that provides flexibility in time and place.

Abstract

Universal Grammar (UG) gives an idea that the world's language formula is the same. Therefore, the Arabic grammar system (L2), which is considered complex, can be simplified with the simple logic of the first language (L1). Grammar logic L2 to L1 can be implemented in Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), which is synthesised from simple grammar and language themes to complex materials. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that shows the preparation of teaching materials that combine UG and CLT. The data sources collected are scientific articles, library studies and lecture documents. The results of the research show that the communicative themes used for language practice can be structured in a series parallel to the UG material i.e. from simple SVO where the subject differs from the gender side to a complex SVO in which 1) subjects differ from the gender, numbers and pronouns, 2) verbs differ from the time, 3) objects differ from the gender, the number and pronouns.
