Abstract

Pada dunia pendidikan saat ini, guru dituntut untuk menggunakan berbagai macam media dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Adanya media dapat dijadikan alat untuk membangkitkan minat belajar siswa. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang sering digunakan adalah Geogebra. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan untuk proses belajar mengajar matematika di sekolah dengan beberapa kegunaan yaitu: sebagai media pembelajaran matematika, alat bantu membuat bahan ajar matematika dan sebagai media dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi GeoGebra terhadap minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Putra Jaya School Batam pada kelas X TKJ dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode uji t, analisis regresi sederhana dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil pada penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa respon siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi GeoGebra berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar secara signifikan. Sementara itu, pengaruh dari variabel respon siswa terhadap minat belajar bernilai positif yang artinya jika respon siswa meningkat maka minat belajar juga akan mengalami peningkatan. Sedangkan pada koefisien determinasi menunjukkan hasil bahwa respon siswa memiliki proporsi pengaruh terhadap minat belajar sebesar 47,5% pada pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the relationship between response and satisfaction using the Quizizz application as a medium for taking quizzes in calculus courses. The subjects in this research were students of the Information Systems study program semester I in the 2022/2023 academic year who took Calculus courses at the Batam Institute of Technology, totaling 59 people. This research uses the Product Moment correlation test to see whether or not there is a relationship between response (X) and student satisfaction (Y) in using the Quizizz application in the Calculus course. The results of this research are a significant value for the response and satisfaction variables, namely 0.000, where this value is <0.05, thus the response and satisfaction variables have a relationship or correlation. Apart from that, the Pearson Correlation value for response and satisfaction is 0.955, which means that the degree of relationship between these two variables is very strongly correlated and the form of relationship between these two variables is positive, which means that the higher the response, the higher the student satisfaction in using the Quizizz application on the Calculus subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the differences in the average value of learning motivation and student satisfaction in Mathematics lessons by applying statistical applications. This study used an experimental method with a One Group Pretest Posttest design. The subjects in this study were grade XII IPA students at SMA N 21 Batam. The average pretest score from the student motivation questionnaire was recorded at 80.5. After applying statistical applications in mathematics learning, the average posttest score increased to 96.4. Furthermore, the average pretest score from the student satisfaction questionnaire was 83.2. Moreover the average posttest score of students after applying statistical applications in mathematics learning increased to 99.2. The results of statistical analysis using Paired Sample t-Test, found a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of learning motivation and student satisfaction of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, which indicates a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores for both motivational material and student satisfaction after the statistical application was applied.
