Abstract

AbstrakKanker merupakan salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas di seluruh dunia. Dalam merawat anak dengan kanker orang tua mengalami berbagai perubahan dimana orang tua mengalami keputusasaan, perasaan emosional, serta komunikasi dan koordinasi yang kurang antara orang tua dan tim paliatif, dapat mempengaruhi rencana perawatan paliatif pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi respon orang tua dalam merawat anak-anak dengan kanker dalam kondisi perawatan paliatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain fenomenologi deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di Jakarta, Bogor, dan Bekasi. Orang tua yang merawat anak mereka dengan kanker yang menjalani  perawatan paliatif diwawancara mendalam dengan pertanyaan terbuka. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Colaizzi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan  tema, yaitu ekspresi marah, mengalihkan marah, melepaskan marah, ketidakberdayaan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selama perawatan paliatif, orang tua mengalami berbagai respon emosional yang tidak sengaja dan tidak bisa mereka kendalikan. Oleh karena itu, perawat sangat penting untuk memberikan penilaian dan memfasilitasi pemenuhan kebutuhan yang melibatkan anggota keluarga serta ahli agama untuk mengontrol respon emosional yang dirasakan orang tua. Kata kunci:  kanker, orang tua, emosi, perawatan paliatif

Abstract

Background: While aesthetics in nursing practice brings out the beauty in nursing, studies regarding how aesthetics are implemented in practice are lacking. Objective: To describe the meanings of aesthetics in nursing practice experienced by nurses in Indonesia. Methods: This qualitative study employed a hermeneutic phenomenological approach based on Gadamerian philosophy. Thirteen nurses were asked to reflect on their experiences of providing aesthetics in their practice through drawing, followed by individual face-to-face interviews. Data were collected in a public hospital in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The interview transcripts and the pictures were analysed following van Manen’s approach. Results: Five thematic categories were revealed: 1) Engaging in caring for persons; 2) Full of compassion; 3) Sympathetic place of care; 4) A joyful time of care; and 5) Distracting the inconvenience in care. Conclusion: Aesthetics in nursing practice is understood and experienced by Indonesian nurses in various ways, not only limited to the visual beauty, cleanness or tidiness of nursing intervention, but are expressed in other ways within caring, including providing care with compassion, applying the art of communication, relieving the pain, and applying innovation in care. These findings can be used to inform nurses in practising aesthetic nursing for enhancing the quality of care.

Abstract

Bayi yang terlahir prematur seringkali memberikan efek jangka panjang maupun jangka pendek bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tumbuh kembang anak yang lahir prematur sampai usia 1 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif menggunakan desain cross sectional. Teknik yang digunakan dengan total sampel sebanyak 30 responden. pada anak yang dilahirkan prematur, sampel yang diambil pada anak usia 1 tahun. Hasilnya terdapat perbedaan proporsi kejadian suspek keterlambatan perkembangan pada anak yang terlahir prematur (p value = 0,005, OR 17). Anak yang terlahir prematur akan berisiko mengalami suspek keterlambatan perkembangan

Abstract

Special needs children have very limited access to health information, this is the cause of children susceptible to disease. Based on data from Unicef 2020, infectious disease mortality is 10%. The emergence of disease in children is one of the reasons for the lack of cleanliness of the child, which needs to be explained to children, how to wash hands properly, one of which is with animation media. The purpose of this research is to apply the animated video of washing hands with response to children in special schools Bukittinggi. This type of research uses a mixed methods study. The research was conducted in the city of Bukittinggi in March-October 2020. The population in this study were 34 extraordinary school children. The results showed that as much knowledge about knowledge in the use of hands with soap was mostly in the low category (73.5%) . Respondents The most attitudes in hand soap are in the category of disagree (79.4%). Most of the respondents' actions in washing their hands with soap were in the non-doing category (85.3%). The facilities and infrastructure for washing hands using soap are at most adequate (64.7%). where there is a significant correlation between children's knowledge and children's ability to wash their hands in 6 steps properly and correctly with p-value = 0.000 and 2 themes are obtained on qualitative methods of children's physiological responses and hand activity patterns

Abstract

AbstractIntroduction: tidur merupakan aspek penting dari kesehatan mental remaja. Remaja seringkali memiliki kualitas tidur yang buruk karena gaya hidup dan juga tuntutan dari akademik. Remaja memilliki mengalami kesulitan dalam mempertahan kan kualitas tidur hal ini mengakibatkan mahasiswa kelelahan di siang hari.Aim: Mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi terhadap kesulitan tidur remaja di kota bukittinggiMethod: Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pre eksperimen dengan pre post quasy eksperimen one group pre test post test design dengan pemberian aromaterapi kepada pasien. Rancangan analisis menggunakan Wilcoxon TestFindings: 2 remaja megalami kualitias tidur yang buruk, dimana 5 remaja mengalami latensi tidur yang tidak baik, dengan 4 remaja mengalami durasi tidur yang lama yaitu selama lebih dari 7 jam. Rata rata 1 remaja mengantuk di siang hari . terdapat 10 remaja yang mengalami gangguan tidur ringan dengan pemberian aroma terapi.Conclusion and recommendation:. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan kualitas tidur remaja baik setelah diberikan intervensi penerapan aromaterapi. Tidur sangat penting bagi perkembangan anak. Pelayanan kesehatan harus memiliki pengetahuan dalam membantu keluarga dengan meningkatkan kebiasaan tidur anak.

Abstract

Background: Delays or failures in language development that occur in children are caused by several reasons including poor hearing, incomprehensible speech, speech deficits and striking languageAims: The aim of this research is to explore the phenomenon of speech delays (Speech Delay) in toddler age children.Method: The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Population of 10 respondents with inclusion criteria: Children who experience speech delays (Speech Delay) after screening the child's KTSP Language observation sheet at the age of 24 months to 36 months. Does not include children with special needs such as Down syndrome, autismResults: With in-depth interviews and the results obtained: children's difficulty in speaking, the emotional condition of children who experience speech delays, parenting patterns for children who experience speech delays and methods of stimulating children who experience speech delays. just the ends of words and limited vocabulary. Difficulty in responding to commands/instructions is illustrated by the situation where children, when given an order, just turn their heads, remain silent, don't understand and don't care. For this reason, there is a need for early detection in children with appropriate speech delay stimulation for children.

Abstract

Traditional games are a form of play therapy for children to increase motor skills. The application of non-verbal communication when playing can make children comfortable and stimulate children to understand the concept of the game more quickly. The aim of this community service is to see the application of educators' non-verbal communication in children's traditional games, especially in seeing children's growth  and development. The methods used in this PKM include; sharing information about the application of non-verbal communication in the traditional game "hi hi smart child", demonstrations to educators and kindergarten/PAUD children, and implementation of games by assessing children's motor skills before and after traditional games accompanied by non-verbal communication. The PKM results show that there is an increase in children's gross motor skills like speed and agility after being given traditional games accompanied by non-verbal communication. It is hoped that the TK/PAUD can continue this activity and carry out continuous evaluations, so that they can improve the quality of children's growth and development.

Abstract

Kesehatan masyarakat tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh layanan medis konvensional, tetapi juga dapat ditunjang oleh terapi komplementer yang bersifat non-farmakologis. Terapi komplementer, seperti akupresur, Akupuntur, dan Bekam terbukti dapat membantu mengurangi nyeri, stres, kecemasan, serta meningkatkan kualitas tidur. Namun, sebagian besar masyarakat masih kurang memahami teknik penerapan terapi tersebut secara mandiri. meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menerapkan terapi komplementer sederhana yang aman dan mudah dilakukan di rumah. Metode dilakukan melalui edukasi kesehatan, demonstrasi teknik terapi, praktik langsung, serta evaluasi pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, serta mayoritas peserta mampu mempraktikkan seperti akupresur, Akupuntur, dan Bekam dengan benar. Peserta juga menyatakan bahwa terapi komplementer ini bermanfaat dan akan dipraktikkan secara mandiri di rumah. kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang terapi komplementer sebagai upaya mendukung kesehatan holistic.

Abstract

Abstract  Permaianan tradisonal dapat meningkatakan kemampuan kognitif anak metode yang di gunakan dengan mengadakan terapi bermai tradisional yaitu dengan nyanyian : hai hai anak pintardimana didapatkan hasil 47,1 % anak mengalami peningkatan kemampuan secara kognitif, dimana anak  dapat mengenal temannya . permainan tradisional anak dilakukan dengan melihat bagaimana kemampuan anak secara kognitif dalam : berjalan seimbang menuju temannya, meraba anggota tubuh temannya, mengenai tangan teman, mengenai bagian muka serta rambut teman, Sentuhan (memegang tangan, menyentuh bahu), terakhir anak menebaik nama teman nya apa sesuai dengan rabaan nya atau tidak. Dapat disimpulkan peramainan tradisional dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anaki
