Abstract

Kegiatan industri di Kabupaten Cilacap seperti pembangkit listrik tenaga uap dan proses kilang minyak bumi yang mayoritas menggunakan batu bara sebagai bahan bakar berpotensi menyumbang limbah padat yang mengandung logam berat seperti timbal (Pb). Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui biokonsentrasi faktor logam timbal pada ikan tongkol, tuna dan kembung di Pantai Kemiren, Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Sampel air diambil sebanyak 2 liter pada 3 titik lokasi daerah perairan pasang surut Pantai Kemiren. Sampel ikan berupa hasil tangkapan ikan yang terdiri dari 3 jenis ikan konsumsi di TPI Pantai Kemiren, Cilacap. Sampel air dan ikan dianalisis kadar Pb nya dengan Spektroskopi Serapan Atom. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa air laut di Pantai Kemiren telah mengalami pencemaran timbal dengan konsentrasi rata-rata sebesar 0,213 ppm. Konsentrasi rata-rata logam berat Pb dalam sampel ikan tongkol, tuna dan kembung di TPI Pantai Kemiren berturut-turut adalah 1,585 ppm, 1,561 ppm, dan 0,978 ppm yang memiliki konsentrasi yang cukup tinggi dan melebihi baku mutunya. Nilai biokonsentrasi faktor logam Pb dalam ikan di TPI Pantai Kemiren mengalami penurunan dengan urutan ikan tuna > ikan tongkol > ikan kembung, dimana hasil ketiganya masuk dalam kategori akumulasi rendah.

Abstract

Jagapati Hamlet, which is located in Kutawaru Village, Central Cilacap District, Cilacap Regency, is a coastal area that has been developed into an ecotourism area, where tourism activities are responsible for unspoiled areas managed according to natural principles with the aim of enjoying natural beauty involving elements of education. The purpose of community service activities is to increase knowledge of the importance of mangrove ecosystems and improve skills in processing food made from mangroves in improving the quality of life of the people of Kutawaru Village. Using a participatory approach, counseling individually and in groups with lecture methods, forum group discussion, method and results demonstrations. The activities carried out are environmental preservation in the form of planting mangroves carried out by several stakeholders, mangrove management and institutional training. In carrying out the growth and development of an ecotourism has several components, both in the form of institutions, human resources, tourist sites, concepts or systems and products offered in the area. Human resources are the dominant component because ecotourism sustainability can work well when there is human resource empowerment, especially the people in the ecotourism area. One of them is the community empowerment model used in the tourism sector Community Based Tourism or community-based tourism. This model provides tourism in an area by involving the community in various stages carried out. With the innovations implemented, it is hoped that Jagapati will become one of the main tourist destination villages in the city of Cilacap.

Abstract

The number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia as of September 2021 reached 64.2 million by contributing a GDP of around 61.07 percent and being able to absorb 97% of the total existing workforce, and was able to collect 60.42% of the total investment in Indonesia. This indicates that MSMEs have great potential to be developed, besides that MSMEs also contribute gross domestic product (GDP) in Indonesia, open opportunities to empower family finances, open business opportunities and absorb labor which in turn can improve the economy in Indonesia. However, the last two, the whole world has experienced economic paralysis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, as well as what happened in Indonesia. One of them has experienced a bad impact on MSMEs/ MSEs. The product of various chips "Tunggal Makmur" is a household industry that still survives today even though with Covid-19, production has decreased by up to 50% during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the conditions mentioned above, the Cilacap State Polytechnic Lecturer intends to carry out Community Service (PKM) at the location of various chips in Widarapayung Wetan village, Cilacap Regency. Community service aims to provide information and knowledge coaching to increase understanding of the important role of business in packaging various chips to attract buyers. The method used in this activity is by surveying methods and directly involving spaciousness to conduct coaching and conducting questions and answers with participants. What is expected by guiding to increase understanding of information and knowledge and socialization is to be able to increase sales by providing attractive packaging and labels. The output will be produced in the form of videos and journals.

Abstract

Air minum dapat langsung diminum tanpa melalui proses pemasakan salah satunya air minum isi ulang, dikarenakan sudah melalui proses pemurnian. Sumber air yang berasal dari air tanah mengandung mineral organik dan anorganik. Salah satu jenis dari mineral mikro yaitu Zn (seng) dalam air dibutuhkan untuk masa tumbuh kembang, menambah nafsu makan dan menyembuhkan luka. Sedangkan, jenis mineral mikro lainnya yang terdapat pada kelenjar hipofisis, dan tulang yaitu Mn (mangan). Pengujian kualitas air minum isi ulang dilakukan oleh PT. Sucofindo Batam menggunakan metode 3111B untuk pengujian Mn dan Zn, 4500-NH2-F sesuai dari Standard Methode for Water and Waste Water American Public Health Association, 22nd edition 2012. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai kandungan mangan, seng, ammonia dan pH yang tidak melebihi baku mutu dengan menggunakan standar yang ditetapkan oleh Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 (Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No. 492/MENKES/Per/IV/2010, 2010).

Abstract

Population growth and settlements have significant consequences on basic problems. One of the main problems that arises and needs to be planned is waste problem. Large amount of unhandling landfill causes various problems, both directly and indirectly for the city population, especially the community members in Desa Maos Lor, Dusun Tengah RW 11 who own a Waste Bank. The problem from Waste Bank is the organic waste that is not utilized and managed optimally, instead it is allowed to accumulate and rot, so it pollutes the environment. The potential method for handling organic waste is by applying anaerobic composter technology to produce fertilizer or compost, which is a swing composter. The composition in the swing composter consists of husk as the base, compost as the starter, fine organic waste (in the form of residual waste or kitchen waste), then it is covered with husk. To speed up the occurrence of decay, the kitchen waste is chopped into small size. Then, the composter is swung 5 to 10 times for mixing it with microorganisms. Next step is letting the swing composter for 4 months. Liquid organic fertilizer and solid organic fertilizer can be used by residents of Desa Maos Lor Dusun Tengah RW 11 to grow crops.
