Abstract

Background : Work stress is a problem for the worker’s health and it is potential to increase the risk of working accident, cause psychological burden, physical load and it was able to decrease the productivity thoroughly. The influence of stress for long term, it is able too posses the certain consequences for the body. This research aim was know the relationship between the noises and work term with work stress to the weaving ”Agung Saputra Tex” Piyungan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Methods : This research was analytic observational using cross sectional approach. The research population is all workers of the weaving section “Agung Saputra Tex” Piyungan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The technique of collecting sample was Totality Sampling method. The sample takes 40 peoples. Data analysis was performing univariate and bivariate. Result : The result of the research shown that was a significant correlation between the level of noise to the occurrence of work stress with p-value of 0,039 < alfa = 5% and the value of RP = 1,857 times (0,463 to 7,445) and there was a significant correlation between years of service to the occurrence of work stress with p-value of 0,019 < alfa = 5% and the value of RP = 1,459 times (0,654 to 3,259). Conclusion : All independent variable studied a meaningful relationship that were noise and years of service to the occurrence of work on worker stress weaving section ”Agung Saputra Tex” Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta. Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan terkait dengan perekonomian di Desa Karanggondang, Kecamatan Pabelan adalah kurang terciptanya ekonomi kreatif dengan memperhatikan potensi alam, tidak adanya program pelatihan dari pemerintah dalam pengembangan ekonomi kreatif serta kurangnya pengetahuan kaum wanita dalam memanfaatkan keterampilan yang dimiliki, oleh karena itu KKN UAD menyelenggarakan kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan sebagai upaya pemberdayaan kaum wanita untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa. Dampak dari kegiatan KKN di lokasi ini adalah : 1) terwujudnya kesadaran akan pentingnya berwirausaha untuk meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga pada khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya 2) memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pemanfaatan salah satu potensi yang ada di Desa Karanggondang yaitu jahe 3) kaum wanita di Desa Karanggondang paham dan terampil dalam merintis usaha pembuatan serbuk jahe instan dan nugget tempe.

Abstract

Gumawang is an area with lots of bamboo, so many bamboo craftsmen in the area. However, production capacity is still low and cannot meet market demand. This is due to the small number of craftsmen (approximately 10 people) and the low number of workers who carry out the bamboo process. In addition, product quality is low, because it is easily damaged (moldy) caused by the water content in the product is too high, especially in the rainy season. Another problem encountered is a non-ergonomic work system and no financial accounting. To solve the problem, a solution was offered in the form of training for Gumawang residents to increase the number of craftsmen, use of product drying technology to reduce water content so that products last longer, counseling on ergonomics, and training on financial management. Another benefit of the service program is increasing the income of craftsmen and residents in general.

Abstract

The“Bersih Bersama” Waste Bank located in Karanganom, Sitimulyo, Piyungan, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region was a waste bank that still exists to manage waste from the local community. The problems faced include that management ware still limited to receiving from customers, then collected and handed over to collectors. The customer was not always doing the sorting process, so the managers have to sort and even have to clean it first. In addition, the level of community awareness to manage waste is still lacking. The purpose of community service was to provide additional skills to members of the waste bank to convert used goods that were originally only sorted and sold, converted into products that have use value and sale value. Community service activities were carried out by organizing training and assistance in making coffee sachet bags using waste paper and coffee sachets (plastic) directly to the community. This training was carried out in 2 stages, namely on September 20 for stage 1 and October 10, 2020 for stage 2. The results of the implementation of community service were increased knowledge about the use of paper and plastic waste, the ability to make new products in the form of coffee sachet bags with attractive motifs that have value. added. A positive impact can be seen from the increased knowledge and understanding of waste bank members in the use of paper and plastic waste into useful and economic goods. In addition, the Karanganom Sitimulyo community can contribute to reducing plastic waste in their environment

Abstract

Most of the Aisyiah womens in the Muhammadiyah Bali region have side jobs as housewives. Various businesses include Small Medium Enterprises (in Bahasa Indonesia, Usaha Kecil dan Menengah) engaged in grocery stalls, selling cloth, food stalls, furniture businesses, Muslim fashion stores and others. Some of the obstacles faced in developing their businesses include capitalization, management and location determination, as well as the quality of production as well as marketing.The purpose of this service activity is to equip Aisyiah Muhammadiyah Bali women in implementing marketing strategies that are in line with their business and competing in marketing. The benefits of this dedication for Aisyiah's mothers are getting knowledge and understanding related to the marketing field.

Abstract

Job fatigue is the leading cause of job-related accidents and illnesses among construction worker who operate in physically and psychologically demanding situations. Job stress is one of the elements that contribute to job fatigue. Job stress and work fatigue-related emotional symptoms significantly influence worker job satisfaction. This study aimed to discover the link between job stress and fatigue in construction worker. A cross-sectional study design was employed for the research, with 30 participants drawn using the total sampling methodology. This type of primary data was gathered by distributing questionnaires in April 2023. Work stress was evaluated using the Work Stress Diagnostic Survey questionnaire in line with Permenaker No. 5 of 2018, while work Fatigue was measured using the IFRC's Subjective Self Rating Stress questionnaire. The frequency distribution test was used to examine data univariately, while the Chi-Square test was used to analyze data bivariately. The findings revealed that the majority of respondents (63.3%) had a low level of fatigue, with the variables related to work fatigue being quantitative overload (p=0.009) because workers need to carry out measurements and mark exact locations, and project managers need to calculate the estimated time for various stages of work, and career development with (p=0.047) because the construction sector has a rigid structure, where promotion is seen as a result of education and work experience There is no correlation between job fatigue and role ambiguity, role conflict, qualitative overload, and obligation to others. It was shown that quantitative overload and professional advancement are linked to fatigue in construction workers.

Abstract

This research was conducted on peanut farmers in Manggung Hamlet, Tileng Village, Girisubo District, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. Based on the results of observations, it can be seen that when harvesting peanuts, farmers were found in a bent and squatting position. In this position, farmers experience pain in the neck, back and knees when working. This study aims to determine the relationship between farmers' working posture and the level of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints. The risk level of working postures is assessed using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment REBA method. The number of respondents in this study was 50 peanut farmers. The research results showed that assessment of working posture of peanut farmers using the REBA method, which obtained a score of 13, can be concluded from the total score in the high risk category where immediate action is needed to improve work posture. The frequency based on working posture shows that farmers who have a high-risk working posture are 21 respondents with a percentage (42%), and farmers who have a very high-risk working posture are 29 respondents with a percentage (58%). There is a relationship between the working posture of peanut farmers and the musculoskeletal disorders when they are working with a p-value of 0.034 (significant relationship).

Abstract

Burnout is a condition often experienced by nurses due to chronic workplace stress. This condition is characterized by symptoms of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and low personal accomplishment, which impact work productivity and the quality of healthcare services. This study aims to identify the risk factors for burnout among nurses through a systematic literature review. The research method follows the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), with article searches on Google Scholar, PubMed, and Semantic Scholar, and using specific inclusion criteria. A total of 9 articles were analyzed to gather information on burnout risk factors. The research findings show that the main risk factors for burnout include high workload, long working hours, lack of social support, and education level. Demographic factors such as age and work experience also influence burnout risk. Additionally, working in intensive care units, marital status, and having a diploma education increase susceptibility to burnout. Burnout affects the intention to quit work, reduces productivity, and impacts the quality of healthcare services. Management strategies such as workload management, social support, and mental health training and stress management programs are needed to address burnout. These steps are crucial for improving nurse well-being, maintaining the quality of healthcare services, and reducing workforce turnover.
