Abstract

Car dealer "Nusantara" is a business that is engaged in car sales in Jember. The "Nusantara" car dealer started its operations in 2011. "Nusantara" car dealers initially operate with car sales at home and shop around to buy cars for the required stock. Development of companies in the field of car buying and selling tend to be small, due to lack of public knowledge of car dealer "Nusantara". Constraints that occur is the owner is difficult in developing in terms of product marketing. Car sales are done around, due to lack of confidence in car owner "Nusantara". Therefore, a dynamic system simulation was created in order to increase the sales of car dealer "Nusantara". The dynamic system is an approach to studying the dynamics of behavioral systems. Dynamic systems are used to analyze, design, and help improve decision making and policy formation. With the simulation of dynamic system at car dealer company "Nusantara" is expected to facilitate the owner in increasing car sales and introduce car dealer company "Nusantara" to the wider community. The dynamic system simulation of car dealer "Nusantara" is currently expected to be the owner of "Nusantara" car dealer to assist in increasing car sales.

Abstract

Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA) has many Informatics Engineering alumni from various cities in Indonesia. Informatics Engineering department currenty has no facilities to accomodate the alumni to maintain communication within each others. Moreover, alumni face problem in doing job search because it is difficult to find vacancies suitable to their field. It is also difficult to search freelance software or system development projects.Based on that current problems, the department needs a system as a medium to gather alumni in order to establish communication within each othersand provide features which can help alumni find jobs in accordance with their desired field. The system created is a special social media alumni of Informatics Engineering of Universitas Surabaya by providing job search feature and freelance projects.Features on this system is made based on requirements obtained from analysis of similar system. From the validation of this system, it is concluded that the system is able to meet the requirements of alumni in terms of expanding and strengthen alumni relation within each others, and also facilitates alumni to search jobs and freelance projects.

Abstract

College students certainly want to graduate with the best results and on time or faster. Graduation checking system in the University of Surabaya, especially in the Engineering Faculty have not been able to completely follow the curriculum changes that occur. In addition, students have difficulties to check their prerequisite to graduate in their respective department. Until now, the system still using desktop-based application. It is difficult for students who do not have the app. Creating a graduation checking systemwebsite-based in the Engineering Faculty University of Surabaya aims to facilitate students to graduation prerequisite checks in each department. The system is made tocheckvarious aspects of the graduation requirements in each department. This system will compare the courses taken by students with courses that must be taken and ensure that students can graduate and fulfill all prerequisites with lectures contract. The trial results showed that students who use this system will be easier to check what are the prerequisites of graduation and find out what deficiencies unmet graduation prerequisite. Thus, administrative officer, Academic Advisor, and the Head of Department may determine the graduation of each student in each department more efficiently.

Abstract

e-Controlling is one of the sub-systems in Government Resources Management System (GRMS) that is used to monitor the plans and realizations of Government’s activity. In practical, e-Controlling has a feature to see the financial and monitoring reports. Problems encountered in the e-Controlling system is the complexity of the data table that is provided by the system when it is opened in mobile devices by the users. By the development of Mobile Controlling System, it is expected to be able to summarize all the data needed in a new simple display format. The testing and validation results received from the management and the administrator reveal a conclusion that Mobile Controlling System has a simple display format and can make user understands the data’s showed in the monitoring reports faster.

Abstract

Project management is the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and monitoring the project activities to meet project objectives in terms of schedule and budget set at the beginning of the contract. In this final dissertation, the word project specifically defined as construction projects of Surabaya city government agency. Currently Surabaya city government agency uses e-Supervision to manage those projects. E-Supervision is part of Goverment Resource Management System (GRMS) support system used to monitor the physical development of construction projects as a basis of calculation for the contractor disbursement of funds (payment). In practice though, the current e-Supervision has not been able to synchronize the data between surveyors' inputs and contractor reports, making it difficult to ensure that the payment made to contractor is done accurately and based on the real physical development of the project in the field. Other weakness from the current system is there's no limit of access for the surveyor, resulting in difficulties to maintain the accountability, privacy and security of the data in the system. No cross-check process on the surveyors' input leads to higher risk of human-error in the report. Users also have difficultes in seeing the deviation between the project plan/schedule and the realization of the project so that often the payment to the contractor is done inaccurately. To address these known weaknesses, the development of e-Supervision will be made through several new features such as notifications, user access restrictions, S curve ability and adding a new role of Supervisory Consultants. Based on trials and validation by the users, the newly developed e-Supervision makes it easier for them to perform an accurate, effective and efficient project management process for Surabaya city government agency.

Abstract

Data consistency and security are the most important thing to pay attention to in the supply chain of foodstuffs derived from livestock. However, the length of the existing supply chain and the lack of facilities to store and maintain the correctness of livestock data are problems in ensuring the security of the data. The use of blockchain in livestock has existed in Indonesia, but its scope is only to agriculture or only a tiny part of the livestock supply chain. Therefore, this research was conducted to develop the application of a blockchain-based livestock supply chain system in Indonesia. This research begins with conducting a literature study, analyzing the slaughterhouses. Then the development of a blockchain system for the food supply chain was carried out. System validation was carried out through interviews with the head of the slaughterhouses, breeders, and wholesalers. The results state that the system helps ensure the security of food supply chain data from livestock. However, the problem that has not been resolved is the validation process of data on the weight loss of foodstuffs in the supply chain process. This technique is expected to be used for halal certification in the future.

Abstract

Toko ritel “X” merupakan jaringan toko di bidang ritel dan mempunyai sistem informasi keanggotaan untuk mengelola data anggotanya. Namun, kehandalan sistem kurang dan proses administrasi berjalan kurang efisien karena keterlibatan proses di luar sistem. Informasi dari sistem kurang membantu pihak manajemen dalam membuat keputusan. Data dari sistem Point of Sales (POS) diinput secara manual, sehingga mengakibatkan data tidak up-to-date dan rentan salah input data. Keamanan sistem dapat ditembus menggunakan teknik SQL Injection, dan pengembangan sistem sulit dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, dibuatlah sistem informasi keanggotaan baru menggunakan framework untuk mengatasi masalah keamanan dan pengembangan sistem. Sistem baru memperbaiki proses verifikasi, menambahkan fitur supaya proses lebih efisien, menambahkan notifikasi kepada anggota, serta pembuatan laporan yang informatif. Aplikasi web service dibuat untuk memudahkan pertukaran data antara sistem POS dan sistem informasi keanggotaan. Dari hasil uji coba disimpulkan bahwa sistem baru lebih handal, informatif, dan efisien serta memiliki sistem keamanan yang lebih terjamin

Abstract

Basic programming training that teaches problem-solving logic has developed at all ages, from kindergarten, elementary school to higher education age. This happens because at this time, the concept of computing or informatics thinking has been considered to be a basic requirement in everyday life. Various forms of learning the concept of informatics thinking, are designed according to the user's age group so that users can enjoy it.  In the community service activities carried out this time, the target of basic programming training is Public High School students, which are open to all schools in Indonesia. This activity was implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic, so this activity was carried out online in the form of a bootcamp through the Zoom meeting application regularly in one month, which was led as a team by a lecturer and several teaching assistants. This training does not stop at delivering material and demonstrations from lecturers but also training assistance conducted by teaching assistants. The material in this training uses the Python programming language. Python was chosen to be used in the training, because currently Python is a programming language that is widely used for simple to complex programming such as data mining and machine learning. Participants can access training materials through the Learning Management System created by Universitas Surabaya to support the dissemination of knowledge to the wider community through the Ubaya Global Academy) platform. Based on the evaluation of the activities carried out before and after the activity was carried out, this activity is considered to provide benefits and can be carried out regularly every year and has follow-up classes.

Abstract

Kelulusan pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, ditentukan oleh berbagai faktor yang nantinya akan disebut sebagai persyaratan. Faktor penentu kelulusan ini, sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada, hanya sebagian yang ditentukan dalam peraturan pemerintah, sedangkan sisanya adalah otonomi dari institusi. Keberagaman faktor pendukung kelulusan ini, menimbulkan kebingungan bagi para peserta didik serta dapat pula memperlama proses administrasi kelulusan pada institusi. Perkembangan teknik dan sistem pengolahan data serta kemudahan akses dengan menggunakan perangkat mobile secara online, bisa menjadi peluang untuk mengembangkan sistem pengolahan data guna mendukung kelulusan. Sistem ini membutuhkan integrasi data akademik maupun non akademik, yang pada akhirnya akan diolah dan menghasilkan keluaran berupa faktor pendukung kelulusan.

Abstract

Crackers are one of the food commodities favored by Indonesian people. Most of the cracker business actors are MSMEs. The main problem faced by many MSMEs is the lack of business knowledge, so they are often inferior to manufacturing businesses. The same thing was experienced by MSME crackers in Krembung District, Sidoarjo which was managed by Mr. Abdul Ghofur. In this service activity, the University of Surabaya Informatics Engineering has an assistance program through technology, to expand the market share that can be reached and help MSME financial management. The programs carried out are the development of an online market place information system that is integrated with the financial system. The activity begins with program socialization and problem analysis. After that, it is followed by application development, training, mentoring, as well as observation and evaluation. Finally, reflection is carried out for the continuation of further activities. The duration of this community service activity is eight months, including one month of assistance to ensure that MSME personnel are able to use the system properly. During the mentoring process, business processes at MSMEs can run more smoothly, where sales transactions are more centralized in the system, stock records are better, and owners can get financial information more accurately and easily. Therefore, it can be concluded that this community service activity went well and helped Mr. Abdul Ghofur's MSME business processes. Service activities will be developed by providing supplies in the form of digital marketing so that MSMEs can reach new customers to access this application.
