Abstract

ZigBee standard can be used in wireless sensor networks (WSN) with a mesh topology. WSN which formed WPAN that uses ZigBee standard has the capability to thousands of WSN devices can be combined in a single WPAN. With that ability need to do testing WPAN performance parameters to get the number of WSN devices for the best performance in mesh topology. Using simulation program, the research measure throughput, traffic (sent, receive and drop), delay and hop number parameters. Testing about the influence of the number of WSN devices is done by running a simulation of the 20 kind WPAN where every WPAN has one WSN gateway and the number of WSN devices ranging from 5 and increasingly by 5 to reach the 100 WSN devices in a single WPAN. The results showed that WPAN performance with ZigBee standard in mesh topology has the best conditions when the maximum number WSN devices achieve 20 WSN devices.

Abstract

Protocol IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee is a standard for low power personal network. This paper discusses about router, end device and coordinator using ZigBee protocol in term of distance and time to join. Testing carried out by pairing and On/Off method that constitute communication model from router or end device to coordinator. The result showed that with pairing methods could far distance until outside building with further distance about 65 meters, while the distance using On/Off method can reach few room in indoor area. Longest time to join need about 1 minute 15 seconds. Compare with pairing method that always connected, On/Off method need more time to connect in ZigBee Network.

Abstract

With the increasing of advanced and sophisticated computer technology currently, especially for PC and server, is marked by the appearance of dual core processor, quad core processor, even hexa core processor. Besides all applications currently, especially not 3D animation and games which utilize the maximum performance of the multicore processor, makes the advanced processor work with a low utilization rate or a little usage of this processor. The advanced processor can be used for running application and services virtually.Virtualization can be seen as a part of whole IT company trend currently. Day by day the virtualization engineering become more popular and widely used because in addition tosaving the power source, it can have a good performance at running various server services in a network. Even nowadays virtualization can run on a cluster infrastructure, which will produce HA (High Availability) server.By using applications, such as VirtualBox and Proxmox, which are very powerful tools, easily-setting and especially free, virtual appliances can be made including functions and services of a server in the real network. It aims to prove how effective and efficient the usage of the multicore processor computer is.

Abstract

One of the primary danger that is made by Meraapi mountain volcanic activity is pyroclastic flow which move fast and consists of gas that has a high temperature, volcanic ash and rock. This flow can move quickly down the mountain with a very high temperature. Merapi mountain natural conditions cause difficulties in visual monitoring of pyroclastic flow, whereas the usage of seismic equipment needs experts to analyze the data. This causes difficulties for staffs to warn people early, rapidly and precisely. So that, inspections are needed to plan an early pyroclastic flow warning system and be able to give a danger caution.The research devised an early pyroclastic flow warning based on geographical information system by using thermal sensor as a pyroclastic flow detector,this system is expected to give easiness in monitoring the flow and an early warning to people around Merapi mountain so that it can minimalize victims which is caused by pyroclastic flow. The research was done by surveying, observing and interviewing, whereas designing of the software using waterfall methodology or linear sequence model which consisted of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Infrared thermal sensor using ATMega8535 microcontroller was used for the testing.The result of the research was a prototype of an early volcano pyroclastic flow warning which is based on geographical information system by utilizing thermal sensor as a pyroclastic flow detector. Thermal sensor used for the system is an infrared thermal sensor using microcontroller as an analog to digital converter. The system has facilities to set the sensor location, read the temperature on each sensor, and give n appropriate condition waning.

Abstract

Advertisements broadcasting service on radio is required to report data after performing broadcast correctly and should be accountable to the owners of ads on the date, hours of broadcasting and the number of ads that aired under the contract. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the ads in accordance with the contract between the ads owner and the radio broadcaster. The monitoring can be done by code marking inside the ads as the identity of the owner. The insertion of the Custom DTMF code through the mixing signal was done using the principle of steganography in the time domain. This research was conducted with a variety of ads audio signal that mixed with noise signal and then analyzed regarding on the placement of the custom DTMF code. For detecting on the receiver side, the DTMF Custom signal must have the magnitude level properly. The results showed that the ads audio signal and the inserted custom DTMF codes can be read well by the detector and it wasn’t interfere the ads signal heard by the audience.

Abstract

Banjir lahar dingin merupakan bencana yang biasanya menyertai letusan atau erupsi gunung berapi. Ini terjadi ketika material vulkanik hasil erupsi yang menumpuk di lereng dan kaki gunung berapi terbawa air hujan melewati sungai- sungai yang berhulu di gunung tersebut. Air yang bercampur dengan material vulkanik ini memiliki massa jenis yang besar sehingga gelombang suara yang dihasilkan ketika mengalir berbeda dengan aliran yang terdiri dari air saja. Parameter inilah yang akan diteliti perbedaanya melalui percobaan yang akan dilakukan. Sinyal suara aliran sungai diperoleh menggunakan serangkaian sensor suara yang disusun secara array Masing-masing sensor terhubung dengan sebuah node jaringan sensor nirkabel IQRF. Data yang diperoleh masing-masing node dikumpulkan dan dikirimkan ke pusat pengolah data berupa sebuah PC. Pengolahan data suara ini dilakukan menggunakan signal processing MATLAB untuk memperoleh informasi apakah aliran air sungai tercampur material vulkanik seperti abu dan pasir hasil erupsi. Informasi yang diperoleh dapat membantu untuk pengembangan sistem peringatan dini banjir lahar dingin.

Abstract

Detektor objek untuk memperagakan sistem konveyor merupakan kebutuhan penting dalam edukasi mahasiswa teknik agar tidak terjadi gap pengetahuan industri. Meskipun demikian, ketersediaan alat peraga tersebut di laboratorium masih belum terpenuhi sehingga perancangan dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Detektor ini akan menggabungkan perangkat Raspberry Pi dengan model dari keluarga EfficientDet yang dilatih ulang melalui transfer learning. Implementasi rancangan produk dilakukan dengan framework TensorFlow. Model yang dihasilkan adalah varian ringan dari model yang diberi nama Efficientdet-Lite. Deteksi dilakukan terhadap objek yang memiliki warna berbeda dan bergerak dengan kecepatan tertentu di konveyor peraga. Dari hasil pengujian, rancangan yang dibuat mampu memenuhi spesifikasi: akurasi 0,282-0,502 mAP, konsumsi energi 6,5 Watt-jam, dan frame rate 1-7 FPS. Pengujian juga menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan kinerja dapat terjadi apabila kecepatan objek diperlambat, dan warna objek dibuat kontras terhadap background. Ukuran parameter model tidak menjamin kinerja deteksi terbaik.

Abstract

Proyek yang berhasil adalah yang menyelesaikan semua fitur yang dipersyaratkan sesuai jadwal dan biaya. Under-estimate dalam estimasi proyek dapat mengakibatkan understaffing, under-scoping, dan jadwal yang terlalu pendek. Over-estimate dalam estimasi proyek cenderung mengakibatkan biaya lebih besar dan memperpanjang waktu proyek, menghambat penggunaan sumber daya untuk proyek berikutnya. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital telah menciptakan e-government, sebuah bentuk baru birokrasi pemerintahan di negara maju. Dalam penerapan e-government, diperlukan penyesuaian birokrasi, regulasi, visi pimpinan daerah, alokasi anggaran, dan peningkatan kemampuan SDM. Tantangan utama dalam implementasi e-government termasuk birokrasi yang rumit, regulasi yang belum memadai, serta kurangnya pemahaman teknologi informasi oleh DPRD. Pengelolaan anggaran dan proyek e-government menjadi kunci keberhasilan implementasi e-government, namun masih sering terjadi pemotongan anggaran dan pengalokasian yang kurang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis metode estimasi untuk proyek software e-government di Indonesia dan merekomendasikan model estimasi yang sesuai.
