Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji tingkat pertumbuhan usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM), hubungan antara ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan perusahaan dalam konteks UKM, dan pengaruh kemampuan pemasaran (MC) pada pertumbuhan perusahaan, serta bagaimana kaitannya dengan ukuran perusahaan. Kerangka teoritis didasarkan pada pandangan berbasis sumber daya dan kemampuan dinamis. Data dikumpulkan dari UKM Indonesia dan dianalisis dengan structural equation modeling. Responden adalah chief executive officer atau pemilik perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UKM dapat maju secara signifikan dan cepat jika mereka berinvestasi dalam sumber daya manusia serbaguna, terutama di bidang pemasaran. Studi ini membawa wawasan baru dari perspektif UKM. Selain itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sangat penting untuk mempertimbangkan berbagai jenis pertumbuhan secara terpisah. Studi ini berkontribusi pada kebutuhan ini dengan menunjukkan hubungan antara tingkat pertumbuhan karyawan dan MC di UKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara strategi dan penggunaan Management Control System (MCS). Karya ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) sebagai alat analisis multivariat. Aplikasi AMOS Software 16 digunakan sebagai alat tambahan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam pemodelan SEM. Sampel untuk penelitian ini adalah manajemen menengah ke atas dari organisasi manufaktur. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang menguntungkan antara pendekatan yang diinginkan dan sistem kontrol interaktif. Ada hubungan yang menguntungkan antara strategi yang ditargetkan dan sistem kontrol diagnostik. Strategi yang muncul dan memiliki asosiasi yang baik. Strategi yang muncul dan sistem kontrol diagnostik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada dampak. Temuan ini kompatibel dengan teori kontingensi. MCS dipengaruhi oleh pengaturan di mana MCS berfungsi, dan perlu diubah dengan tuntutan dan kondisi organisasi.

Abstract

The growth of cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.) is influenced by the use of the type of planting medium and the presence of supporting microorganisms, such as the Trichoderma sp. This research aims to determine the effect of giving Trichoderma sp. and manure on the growth of cocoa seedlings. The research used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) method consisting of 9 treatments which were repeated 3 times, so there were 27 experimental units. Factor 1 is chicken manure by 200, 300 and 400 g/polybag, factor 2 is Trichoderma sp. with different level of mixing. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, wet weight of the crown, wet weight of the roots, dry weight of the crown, dry weight of the roots. The research results showed that M3 (400 g/polybag) gave the best results for the parameters of stem diameter, crown wet weight, root wet weight and root dry weight of cocoa plants. Giving Trichoderma sp. at a level of 10 mL L-1 gave the best results for stem diameter, root wet weight and root dry weight. The research results provide a positive contribution to the application of a combination of chicken manure (M1:200 g/polybag) with Trichoderma sp. (P2: 10 mL L-1) on stem diameter and root wet weight.

Abstract

The Teaching Factory Nursery at Politeknik Negeri Jember has palm oil plantation which is used for student practice. Oil palm plants have entered the TM (Producing Plant) phase, but the palm fruit produced has never been used. Palm fruit that is not harvested and is ripe, if it falls to the ground, will germinate and grow into a new plant, this will make handling more difficult because you have to uproot the plant to clean it. Another problem is that there are no tools that support the processing of palm fruit into Cruda Plam Oil (CPO). Seeing the huge potential of this palm fruit, the proposing team together with the management of the Teaching Factory Nursery agreed to take advantage of the opportunity through community service activities to produce CPO which will later become red palm oil ready for consumption using simple processing equipment. The service activity begins with a FGD to agree on product manufacture, location and equipment maintenance, as well as product marketing. The proposing team also provides assistance in product creation, storage, packaging, and product marketing for program sustainability.  The results of the activity show an increase in partners' knowledge and skills regarding post-harvest management of palm oil. The partners' enthusiasm in demonstrating the stages of processing palm oil into CPO is also able to solve problems and solutions and increase income from product sales.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan daun ketapang merupakan program bahan utama dalam pembuatan sabun antiseptik, dimana daun ketapang diambil ekstraknya untuk dijadikan bahan utama dalam pembuatan sabun antiseptik yang dimana salah satu manfaat dari daun ketapang yaitu untuk mengatasi penyakit kulit. Bahan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sabun antiseptik adalah daun ketapang yang sudah kering lalu di cacah menjadi kecil-kecil dan di ambil ekstraknya untuk dijadikan bahan utama dalam pembuatan sabun antiseptik. Program pemanfaatan daun ketapang ini tercipta atas dasar urgensi kondisi mitra yang terletak di pondok pesantren Al-Manshurin Patrang, Jember dimana di lingkungan pesantren sendiri kesadaran santrinya mengenai pemanfaatan daun ketapang masih rendah, sehingga limbah daun ketapang terbuang sia-sia dan mengotori lingkungan sekitar. Jarak yang harus ditempuh menuju Pondok pesantren Al-Manshurin Patrang, Jember. Sehingga diperlukan sosialisasi mengenai pengelolaan limbah daun ketapang yang tidak dimanfaatkan dengan maksimal. Hasil survei dan observasi tim, minat dan antusias mitra untuk melakukan pembuatan sabun ini sangat tinggi, sehingga Tim Pengabdian masyarakat Politeknik Negeri Jember melakukan sosialisasi pengelolaan limbah daun ketapang dengan pembuatan sabun antiseptik. Pembuatan sabun antiseptik berhasil mengurangi limbah daun ketapang yang tidak di manfaatkan dengan maksimal, peningkatan pemahaman mitra dengan memanfaatkan daun ketapang kreativitas serta inovasi mitra.

Abstract

Robusta coffee (Coffea canephora L.) is the type of coffee most widely developed by farmers in Indonesia. The BP308 is a clone discovered by the coffee and cocoa research center which is included in the Robusta coffee clone which has a large and sturdy stature. One of the coffee plant maintenance activities that needs to be carried out is pruning so that coffee plant productivity can be optimal by removing old branches that are less productive and replacing them with young branches that are more productive. Pruning is a clipping, especially for plants that have difficulty growing reproductive branches. Clipping is carried out at the beginning of the rainy season so as not to stimulate the formation of flowers on the circumcised branches. The method used T-test calculations from the results of rejuvenation of single stems with treatment of one node and two nodes resulting from clipping on shoot growth and the data is then analyzed using a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results show that there is no influence on shoot length parameters. However, it has a significant increase in the number of leaves from 1,47 to 2,33, and it has a significant increase in shoot diameter from 1,63 mm to 2,38 mm. This is the first study comparing single vs. double node clipping on BP308 clone under specific microclimate conditions.
