Abstract

Differential quadrature phase-shift keying (DQPSK) modulation techniques and their variants are widely applied in digital communication, such as for high-speed optical fiber, bluetooth, or satellite communication. In its implementation, DQPSK cannot be separated from the potential harmful interference. In this research, a system model has been made for observation and analysis of the interference cancellation process. Discrete finite-duration impulse response (FIR) filters for band limiting and adaptive filter are the key components of the supporting block for this system model. Robust Simulink results have shown a significant increase in system performance in the existence of these key components. The indication has been shown by the best bit error rate (BER) of 3.3e-05. Constellation and eye pattern diagrams have supported the BER.

Abstract

Teknologi otomasi dan komunikasi semakin berkembang pada era revolusi industry 4.0 seperti sekarang ini. Banyak perangkat industry maupun rumah tangga yang mengimplementasikan teknologi tersebut. Pada suatu lingkungan dengan parameter kondisi yang terjaga dari kemungkinan bahaya seperti api, asap, dan gas beracun, sebuah sistem pendeteksi diniĀ  dapat diintegrasikan sehingga mampu memberikan sinyal peringatan dini serta kontrol berupa tindakan preventif yang harus dilakukan agar dapat mengantisipasi terjadinya potensi resiko . Dalam perancangan model simulasi sistem ini, perangkat yang digunakan berupa modul mikrokontroler Arduino uno, sensor MQ-2, LED, buzzer, kipas, dan relay. Metode yang digunakan berupa penelitianĀ  eksperimental yang dapat menguji secara benar hipotesis yang menyangkut hubungan kasual melalui pola tahapan design science research method (DSRM). Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara menempatkan sistem pada suatu lingkungan yang telah ditetapkan kemudian dilakukan proses pengambilan data secara berkala pada beberapa kondisi tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem mampu bekerja secara baik dan optimal, proses pendeteksian memiliki waktu delay yang singkat sehingga fungsi pembuangan pada sistem dapat berjalan secara sinkron dalam menetralisir potensi bahaya pada lingkungan tersebut

Abstract

Wireless sensor network is a common method used in the design of shared resource interconnection infrastructure at a location point to provide optimal performance. The main factor in the design of a wireless sensor network (WSN) communication protocol in the form of coordination optimization efforts between nodes, one of the effective methods that can be made to achieve such conditions is the provision of nodes using the publish / subscribe messaging system protocol. This research discusses the implementation of publish / subscribe messaging system protocol on wireless building network system based on NRF2L01. Discussions include simulation, design, implementation, application testing and system performance both on a work-to-work and performance-by-node performance. The results showed the system was able to monitor all information and control equipment from a building through a web interface making it easier for officers to maintain and supervise a building, then to test the performance of nodes with a fixed data packet size of 32 bytes, the delay value for each node is less than 1 second, then for the minimum throughput 250 kbps data rate obtained at 5.9 Kbps and the maximum throughput obtained at 72 Kbps and for packet loss of at least 0.59% while the maximum packet loss of 13.23% and the standard deviation value of delay, throughput and packet loss are smaller than the average value, the data is not very varied (stable).

Abstract

The development of technology in the modernization era now allows us to do work more easily, quickly, efficiently and have high productivity. One example of this development is in agriculture. The concept of developing agriculture that is being developed at this time is the concept of intelligent agriculture, or more commonly known as smart farming or the Smart Agriculture System. This concept refers to the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in agriculture. The main purpose of applying the technology is to increase yield productivity and ease in monitoring the plant growth process. Based on this, then in this study developed a data monitoring system that utilizes wireless multisensor network technology and internet connectivity in the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). Through this system, it is expected to facilitate the process of monitoring and controlling the growth of plants that are turned into commodities.

Abstract

Technology is developing very fast along with the demands of life and the mobility of human work which continues to increase. Technological advances that have the greatest impact are advances in information technology. the era of information technology opens many business opportunities without having to pay a lot of costs, but has a level of effectiveness and better productivity. The cafe is a place that is usually used as a destination to gather and socialize for all people. Coffe 86 Cafe is one of the cafes that still uses conventional systems in serving its customers. Under these conditions, an implementation of information technology in the form of a digital menu application is expected to minimize ordering errors, shorten order times, and facilitate customers in accessing orders. This digital menu application was developed using Visual Studio 2010 and MySQL as the database. The method used is the waterfall model methodology which is a design method that uses gradual and orderly sequences. With this application, it is expected to help the owner in managing the cafe business to be more developed because this application provides many benefits where every report or transaction can be directly saved into the database.

Abstract

The background of the research is the need for 3 phase ac servoposition is needed to obtain a precise position, where the 3 phase ac motor with a power between 0.25 to 1 kw when used to make precise position movements, is quite difficult, because of the moment of inertia, when silent governed the way the starting time process from zero speed to nominal speed is quite long, about 1 to 2 seconds, as well as when from normal rotation commanded to stop zero speed the process of stopping time ranges from 2 to 3 seconds, whereas we want starting time 0.5 seconds and stop time 0.75 seconds stop right in the position ordered. This problem is very disturbing in making other system controls, because the time is long enough in the starting time and stoping time, and this process will repeat every time according to the modulation of the control signal received by the motor switching system, while the operating time of the desired system is only 30 seconds in following the target so as not to disappear in the camera shot, starting from the target start is obtained until the end of the process when turning on the firing button, as used in controlling the missile launcher. The launcher's processing time is only about a few minutes, for searching, locking and firing, otherwise the object to be locked will disappear from observation.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi ini informasi sangatlah penting dan juga sangatlah dibutuhkan oleh setiap orang. Karena teknologi informasi telah menjadi sumber kunci utama dan juga sangatlah berperan penting bagi kemajuan bangsa. Salah satunya dalam masalah administrasi dalam penjualan tiket di sebuah tempat usaha. Kondisi saat ini pengolahan tiket di stadion sepak bola ini masih bersifat manual. Maka dari itu kita bisa memanfaatkan sentuhan teknologi dalam bentuk administrasi pada loket pemesanan tiket masuk ke stadion sepak bola serta bisa menyimpan data para pengunjung yang datang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan model waterfall karena merupakan metode pengembangan yang terstruktur dan dalam laporan akhir ini dapat dilakukan secara sistematis dan terarah. Program aplikasi tiket sepak bola berbasis desktop dibuat dengan menggunakan microsoft visual studio 2010 dengan VB NET sebagai bahasa pemrograman aplikasi serta MySQL sebagai database digunakan untuk menyimpan dan mengolah data. Dari hasil pengujian, aplikasi yang dibuat dapat bekerja secara optimal tanpa mengalami kendala.

Abstract

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a means of measuring and monitoring important signals from heart activity. One of the major biomedical signal issues such as ECG is the issue of separating the desired signal from noise or interference. Different kinds of digital filters are used to distinguish the signal components from the unwanted frequency range to the ECG signal. To address the question of noise to the ECG signal, in this paper the digital notch filter IIR 47 Hz is designed and simulated to demonstrate the elimination of 47 Hz noise to obtain an accurate ECG signal. The full architecture of the structure and coefficient of the IIR notch filter was carried out using the FDA Tool. Then the model is finished with the help of Simulink and the MATLAB script was to filter out the 47 Hz noise from the signal of ECG. For this purpose, the normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm was used. The results indicate that before being filtered and after being filtered it clearly shows the elimination of 47 Hz noise in the signal of the ECG. These results also show the accuracy of the design technique and provide an easy model to filter out noise in the ECG signal.

Abstract

Teknologi wireless saat ini telah menjadi pilihan yang banyak digunakan dalam pengembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Ketersediaan fasilitas layanan komunikasi data internet dalam mendukung mobilitas di lingkungan kampus seperti browsing, mengunduh dan mengunggah data memberikan kemudahan bagi setiap user untuk dapat mengakses layanan tersebut dengan hanya menghubungkan perangkat mobile ke dalam jaringan tersebut. Agar kualitas layanan komunikasi data internet selalu berada dalam kondisi yang optimal, maka perlu diperhatikan di awal mengenai desain, topologi, serta perangkat yang akan digunakan pada infrastruktur jaringan yang akan dibangun. Selain persiapan terhadap infrastruktur fisik jaringan, upaya peningkatan performa berupa implementasi sistem monitoring serta manajemen jaringan berupa quality of service (QoS) merupakan sebuah langkah penting yang tidak dapat dikesampingkan. Implementasi QoS pada sebuah jaringan hotspot yang bertindak sebagai pembagi bandwidth sehingga proses distribusi layanan komunikasi data internet mampu secara merata diterima oleh setiap user yang terhubung. Metode peer connection queue (PCQ) yang digunakan bertujuan untuk memastikan agar setiap user dapat menerima kualitas layanan sesuai dengan jenis paket data yang digunakan. Ada beberapa jenis paket data yang diterapkan, diantaranya paket gold, silver, dan bronze yang mana setiap paket tersebut memiliki perbedaan pada besaran bandwidth yang diterima serta batasan terhadap akses web tertentu. Pengujian performa jaringan dilakukan dengan cara memonitoring besaran bandwidth pada masing-masing paket pada saat sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode PCQ.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah plastik merupakan sebuah fenomena lazim yang harus segera dicari alternatif penyelesaiannya. Sampah plastik sendiri merupakan jenis sampah yang memberikan dampak negatif serius terhadap lingkungan. Sungai citarum merupakan salah satu sungai yang paling tercemar di Indonesia, keberadaan sampah plastik dan material lain pada aliran sungai citarum membuat air meluap menjadi banjir pada musim hujan. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka pemerintah terkait bekerja sama dengan instansi TNI&POLRI membentuk sebuah tim dengan nama satgas citarum harum yang salah satu fokus tujuannya berupa penanganan lahan kritis dan pengelolaan sampah disekitar daerah aliran sungai (DAS) citarum. Normalisasi sungai citarum dilakukan dengan cara melibatkan masyarakat di sekitar bantaran sungai citarum, salah satu bentuk sosialisasi yang dilakukan kepada masyarakat adalah pemanfaatan limbah botol plastik sebagai media tanam hidroponik. Kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan Dosen dan mahasiswa STT Mandala menyasar ke generasi muda di SDN Sukajadi Baleendah, dimana para siswa diberikan bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengolah limbah botol plastik menjadi media tanam system hidroponik. Dari hasil evaluasi kegiatan, tingkat kepuasan para siswa peserta pelatihan mencapai 96.4% yang membuktikan kegiatan PKM yang telah dilaksanakan berjalan baik dan memuaskan.
