Abstract

Campuran aspal porus merupakan salah satu jenis cempuran perkerasan yang bergradasi terbuka, dimana persentase agregat kasar besar, dan berpori sehingga dapat mengalirkan air permukaan, dengan demikian air tidak menggenangi bagian permukaan jalan. Aspal porus memiliki stabilitas rendah, sehingga membutuhkan aspal dengan mutu yang baik yang berfungsi sebagai pengikat dalam campuran. Salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan mutu aspal adalah dengan mencampurkan bahan tambah seperti styrofoam kedalam aspal yang disebut dengan aspal modifikasi. Styrofoam merupakan sejenis sampah platik yang sulit terurai,dan tidak dapat dengan mudah untuk didaur ulang, sehingga limbah styrofoam akan terus menggunung dan merusak lingkungan, pemanfaatan limbah Styrofoam sebagai bahan subtitusi sebagian aspal pada campuran aspal porus diharapkan diharapkan selain dapat meningkatkan kinerja perkerasan aspal porus, juga dapat menjaga lingkungan dengan mengurangi jumlah limbah styrofoam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menentukan kadar aspal dan styrofoam makimum yang menghasilkan kinerja perkerasan aspal porus optimum, serta menentukan nilai permeabilitas dan durabilitas campuran perkerasan aspal porus pada kadar aspal dan styrofoam terbaik. Metode AAPA digunakan dalam Penentuan nilai kadar aspal optimum dengan tiga parameter nilai yaitu; nilai Cantabro Loss (CL), Asphalt Flow Down (AFD) dan Void in Mix (VIM). Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai KAO 5,65% dengan nilai kinerja perkerasan maksimum yaitu; stabilitas 555,75 kg, flow 5,46mm, VIM 22,15%, MQ 101,89 kg/mm, CL 16% dan AFD 0,29%. Subtitusi kadar styrofoam optimum diperoleh sebesar 10% pada kadar aspal 5,65% dengan nilai stabilitas 567,57 kg, CL 19,36%, AFD 0,16%, VIM 22,58%, flow 4,17 mm, dan MQ 137,38 kg/mm. Nilai permeabilitas dan durabilitas pada kadar aspal dan styrofoam optimum diperoleh 0,0952 cm/dtk dan 80%, ini menunjukkan campuran aspal cukup berpori akan tetapi tidak durable (awet), karena nilai durabilitas yang diperoleh masih dari yang disyaratkan yaitu < 90%. Abstract

Road construction has negative side effects on the environment, including reduced non-renewable natural resources, increased emissions, construction waste, reduced productive land and damaged ecosystems. To minimize this problem environmentally friendly efforts are needed in the implementation of road construction. One of the efforts made is to use the concept of greenroad. This concept can be applied at every stage of the implementation of road construction, especially at the stage of road construction and maintenance. This study aims to assess the application of greenroad criteria in construction contract documents using the Content Analysis method. While the case study examined is the Payakumbuh City Road Rehabilitation / Maintenance Contract document in 2016, 2017 and 2018 with a contract value above four billion rupiah. Greenroad assessment criteria use PUPR Minister Circular Number 04/SE/M/2018 concerning GreenRoad Ranking Guidelines. In this guide the assessment of greenroads is grouped into five categories, 35 subcategories and 84 criteria. The categories are Conservation of environment, water, air and nature (KL), Provision of transportation and community (TM), Construction implementation activities (AK), Use of materials and natural resources (MS), Pavement technology (TP). The criteria contained in each subcategory have a weighted value. The maximum total value possible in this scoring system is 100. While the greenroad ranking system is divided into four levels, represented by the number of stars. While the greenroad ratings for contracts in 2017 and 2018 are 2 stars with 15.01 each. The increase in value in 2017 is in the AK category with a value of 3.36 in 2016 to 5.46 in 2017. While the opportunity to add green road criteria to the Periodic Road Rehabilitation/ Maintenance contract can be applied in the GCC (general terms of the contract) and technical specifications as many as 26 criteria. Abstract

ABSTRACTRoads are the infrastructure of arteries in supporting the pace of economic activity, good road conditions will affect the comfort and safety of road users. In order for the road to be able to accommodate the needs of movement with a certain level of service, it is necessary to make an effort to maintain the quality of road services, where one of the efforts is to improve road surface conditions (Ramli, 2017). One of the stages in improving road surface conditions is to conduct an assessment of existing road conditions. This study aims to identify the type of pavement damage, determine the type of treatment that can be done to improve the condition of the 7.22 Km Panti - Simpang Empat road section and identify the impact of road damage on the environment. The analysis was carried out using the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method. The type of damage to the Panti - Simpang Empat road segment based on the Pavement Condition Index method is dominated by Edge Cracking by 35.7%, Pacthcing & Utill cut patches by 15.5%, Rutting by 10.9%, Cracks by 10.9%, Cracks Elongated / Transverse (Long & Trans Cracking) by 5.7%, and Alligator cracking by 5.4%. The average PCI value on the Jalan Panti - Simpang Empat segment is 68.55 with Fair condition. The type of treatment needed on the Panti - Simpang Empat road section in terms of evaluation of road damage is Preventive Maintenance.Keywords :  road;  pavement damage type; PCI; handling ABSTRAK Jalan merupakan prasarana urat nadi dalam mendukung laju aktifitas perekonomian, Kondisi jalan yang baik akan berpengaruh terhadap kenyamanan dan keselamatan pengguna jalan. Agar jalan dapat tetap mengakomodasi kebutuhan pergerakan dengan tingkat layanan tertentu maka perlu dilakukan suatu usaha untuk menjaga kualitas layanan jalan, dimana salah satu usaha tersebut adalah memperbaiki kondisi permukaan jalan (Ramli, 2017). Salah satu tahapan dalam memperbaiki kondisi permukaan jalan adalah dengan melakukan penilaian terhadap kondisi eksisting jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis kerusakan perkerasan, menentukan jenis penanganan yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kondisi ruas jalan Panti – Simpang Empat sepanjang 7.22 Km dan mengidentifikasi dampak kerusakan jalan terhadap lingkungan. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index). Jenis kerusakan pada ruas jalan Panti – Simpang Empat berdasarkan Metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index) didominasi oleh Retak Tepi (Edge Cracking) sebesar 35.7%, Tambalan (Pacthcing & Utill cut patch) sebesar 15.5%, Alur (Rutting) sebesar 10.9%, Retak memanjang/Melintang (Long & Trans Cracking) sebesar 5.7%, dan Retak Kulit Buaya (Alligator cracking) sebesar 5.4%. Nilai PCI rata-rata pada ruas Jalan Panti – Simpang Empat adalah 68,55 dengan kondisi Fair (Sedang). Abstract

This study was motivated by the case of the disappearance of legal bus services due to their loss in competition with a kind of car services called “Travel” for the corridor of Padang - Pesisir Selatan, West Sumatera, Indonesia. Travel might not legal public transport services, and therefore, in this study is also called un-official public transportation. This study aims to determine the driving attributes for passenger’s satisfaction of un-official public transportation services and to figure out the service attributes that need to be improved according to passengers’ perceptions. Data was collected using random sampling with a total sample of 160 respondents and was analyzed using the Importance Satisfaction Analysis (ISA) method. Quadrant analysis of ISA revealed that the availability of music and air conditioner on-board is not so essential but resulting a higher satisfaction to passengers. Passengers are calling for an improvement of the services by consistently implementing the law against a driver who uses a mobile phone while driving or driving inconsiderately, and improving the courtesy and friendliness of the driver.

Abstract

The increase in vehicle ownership number will affect the increase in traffic flow, which will usually result in congestion on the road network. This phenomenon causes vehicles to tend to travel close to one another (platoon). Characteristics used in describing the platoon phenomenon are the distance between vehicles (headway), average speed, and the number of vehicles in the platoon. This study is to analyzes the effect of variations in the leader and platoon length on vehicle speed. This research was conducted on Padang – Bukittinggi Road. Based on the Decree of the Minister of PUPR No: 248/KPTS/M/2015, Padang - Bukittinggi Road is categorized as a primary arterial road. This research used the primary data, a field survey, by recording vehicle traffic flow (traffic platoon) for two days. A distance of 50 meters is taken to determine the speed, and the time is measured with a stop program. The average headway on weekdays is 1.32 seconds and on holidays is 1.47 seconds. The size of the platoon and the type of platoon leader have a significant effect on the average speed of the vehicle in the platoon if the headway is  ≤ 2 seconds. At the addition of one vehicle in the platoon, which can change the vehicle's average speed, follows the equation y = -4.30x + 67.09.

Abstract

Naiknya  jumlah kepemilikan kendaraan akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan arus lalu lintas, yang biasanya akan menghasilkan kemacetan di jaringan jalan. Fenomena ini mengakibatkan kendaraan cenderung berjalan beriring – iringan (platoon). Beberapa karakteristik yang dipakai dalam mendeskripsikan  fenomena platoon tersebut yaitu: jarak antar kendaran (headway) kecepatan rata-rata  dan jumlah  kendaraan dalam platoon. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisa pengaruh variasi kendaraan leader dan panjang platoon terhadap kecepatan kendaraan. Penelitian dilakukan pada jalan raya Padang – Bukittinggi yang merupakan jalan arteri di Propinsi Sumatera Barat. Data yang dipakai adalah data primer, survey langsung dilapangan dengan merekam arus lalu lintas kendaraan beriringan (traffic platoon) selama 2 hari. Untuk menentukan kecepatan diambil jarak 50 m dan waktu diukur dengan stop program. Nilai rata – rata headway relatif sama pada pengukuran pada saat jam sibuk dan jam tidak sibuk. Secara umum  headway antar kendaraan bervariasi, disebabkan kecepatan kendaraan yang tidak konstan. Pengukuran platoon sampai dengan 2 detik lebih berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kecepatan daripada pengukuran platoon sampai dengan 3 detik. Pada pengukuran platoon sampai dengan 2 detik terjadi penurunan rerata kecepatan sebesar 8.36 % setiap penambahan 1 (satu) kendaraan pada platoon, sedangkan pada pengukuran platoon sampai dengan 3 detik terjadi penurunan rerata kecepatan  sebesar 4.40 %.

Abstract

From 2016 – 2018 in Jambi province there were 3,543 traffic accidents, with 1,085 deaths. What causes traffic accidents is caused by three factors, human factors themselves, vehicle factors and road infrastructure factors. To reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents, you can eliminate or reduce the causes of traffic accidents, such as improving the safe condition of road infrastructure. The aim of this research is to calculate recommendations for budget plans from the results of road safety audits at the detailed engineering design (DED) stage, totaling six detailed engineering design (DED) documents on Jambi province national roads. This research uses road safety audit guidelines Pd 03 – 2019 – B. From the results of the analysis, the percentage between the safety cost recommendation results compared to the construction cost design (owner estimate) at DED 1 = 6.17%, DED 2 = 0.93%, DED 3 = 16.13%, DED 4 = 7.33%, DED 5 = 0.75% and DED 6 = 8.83% and the combined percentage obtained is 7.05%. Thus, a detailed engineering design (DED) still requires attention in producing a detailed engineering design (DED) that is oriented towards road safety and the costs of physical implementation of the results of road safety recommendations.

Abstract

The residential area in Kubang Tangah, Sawahlunto, is an area that has the potential for significant landslide hazard. With rapid residential growth and environmental change, risks to the security and well-being of residents are becoming increasingly prominent. This research aims to identify factors that trigger landslide hazard and analyze potential risks in the residential context of Kubang Tangah. Analysis of regional geotechnical and topographic characteristics, land use modeling, and review of the impact of human activities on slope stability. The analysis method uses the Plaxis 2D program to obtain slope safety factors in the Kubang Tangah residential area, Sawahlunto. The research results show that residential areas in Kubang Tangah have a high level of landslide risk, influenced by slope, soil type, and changes in land use. Varying rainfall levels significantly contribute to the potential for landslide hazard. Mitigation recommendations are suggested to involve wise land use changes, strengthening infrastructure, and increasing public awareness of the dangers of landslides.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of risk management implementation in national road infrastructure projects managed by the National Road Implementation Agency (BPJN) of West Sumatra, Indonesia. Employing an evaluative method that integrates qualitative and quantitative approaches, this research assesses risk management practices based on the guidelines set by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The study utilizes document reviews, structured interviews, and perception surveys involving at least 10 respondents, including Risk Owners, Risk Managers, and officials from the Risk Management Unit (UPR) responsible for planning, financial management, and technical operations. Findings indicate that while BPJN West Sumatra has effectively implemented several risk management aspects, deficiencies persist in risk monitoring and response strategies. Notably, the study highlights the urgent need for a structured risk monitoring system, more proactive mitigation strategies, enhanced stakeholder communication, and the integration of information technology. This research contributes to the existing literature by providing a comprehensive evaluation framework for risk management effectiveness in infrastructure projects, offering practical recommendations to improve risk management capacity and support the successful execution of national road infrastructure projects in West Sumatra.
