Abstract

This study aims to find out how the principal is in his leadership and how influential the principal's leadership is on teacher performance. The method used in this research is descriptive using a quantitative approach. Data collection was obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. While the data analysis uses percentage techniques for descriptive data and test eta quadrat for quantitative data. The results obtained in this study explain that the principal's leadership is in the very good category with a percentage gain of 94.6%.Teacher performance is in the very good category with a percentage gain 80.5%. The results of linear regression calculations show that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Principal leadership contributes 37.6% to teacher performance. Which means principals have an important role in teacher performance.

Abstract

Personnel management information system (SIMPEG) is a system used to store employee data, one of the institutions that has implemented a personnel management information system (SIMPEG) as a system for storing employee data and facilitating services is the Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Bandung Regency. This study aims to find out: 1) how is the personnel management information system (SIMPEG) at the office of the Ministry of Religion of West Bandung Regency, 2) how is the quality of personnel administration services at the office of the Ministry of Religion of West Bandung Regency, 3) how is the relationship between the personnel management information system (SIMPEG) with the quality of personnel administration services at the office of the Ministry of Religion of West Bandung Regency. This research is descriptive, using a quantitative approach, the type of correlation. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire questionnaire. Then the data analysis techniques in this research are instrument test (validity and reliability), partial indicator analysis test, prerequisite test (normality and linearity test), and correlation test. Based on the results of the questionnaire distribution, the variable category x (SIMPEG) includes high qualifications with an average score of 4,54. Based on the results of the questionnaire distribution, the variable y (quality of personnel administration services) includes high qualifications with an average value of 4,41. The relationship between the personnel management information system (SIMPEG) and the quality of personnel administration services based on correlation testing, the results obtained from the correlation coefficient of 0,674 This shows that the relationship between the personnel management information system variable and the quality of personnel administration services, the strength level is at 0,674, so it can be interpreted these results are in the category 0.60 – 0.79, it can be interpreted that between these variables have a strong relationship.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid 19 yang tidak dapat dipastikan kapan akan berakhir. Pandemic ini merupakan krisis yang berdampak pada dunia pendidikan. Pembelajaran harus dilakukan dalam jaringan (daring). Pembelajaran daring ini menimbulkan berbagai masalah apabila tidak disiapkan dengan perencanaan yang matang. Pembeljaran daring menuntut para pendidik untuk lebih creative dan produktif dalam mempersiapkan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sosok pemimpin atau kepala sekolah yang mampu menghadapi masalah ini. Tipe Kepala sekolah yang mampu menghdapai situasi krisis ini adalah mereka yang memiliki gaya kepemimpinan transformasional. Melalui metode penelitaian deskriftif kualitatif dengan desain penelitian menggunakan penelitian yang mengacu studi kasus, mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah SMP Al Amanah Cileunyi kabupaten Bandung saat menghadapi situasi pembelajaran daring akibat pandemic Covid 19. Kepala SMP Al Amanah mampu memberdayakan segenap potensi bawahan (pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan) untuk mampu berkolaborasi memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi, mampu memotivasi dan merangsang secara intelektual serta memberikan kepercayaan penuh sehingga muncul loyalitas, produktivitas dan kreativitas melebihi ekspektasi.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has recently implemented a new education policy called "Kurikulum Merdeka". This policy aims to provide more flexibility and freedom for Madrasahs and teachers to develop their own curriculum and teaching methods that are better suited to the needs of their students. Kurikulum Merdeka is considered a departure from the previous centralized curriculum system, which was heavily focused on standardized testing and did not always reflect the diversity and local context of Indonesian society. This article aims to investigate the implications of Kurikulum Merdeka on Indonesian Madrasahs. The method used in this research was qualitative by collecting any literature related to Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. However, the implementer's attitude dimensions have a lower average value and require care. The implementer's attitude is crucial because support, resistance, and dedication are markers of the program's effectiveness. For teachers, lecturers, and students alike, MBKM is one of the crucial policies in the growth of higher institutions. There are eight Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka programs, as shown by the findings, including: 1) student exchange, 2) apprenticeship/work experience, 3) teaching in educational establishments, 4) projects in villages, 5) research, 6) entrepreneurial endeavors, 7) independent study, and 8) charitable endeavors.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relevance of Socratic analysis in the application of the dialogue method in elementary schools. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques using documentation studies and literature studies related to this research topic. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubmer analysis model, through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or data validation. The findings in this research are that the application of the dialogue method with Socratic analysis to elementary school students needs to pay attention to the stage of students' cognitive development, where there are two stages of cognitive development for elementary school students, students aged 7-11 years who are generally in grades 1- 5 are at the concrete operational stage of cognitive development. Meanwhile, students aged 11-13 years who are generally in grades 5-6 are at the formal operational cognitive development stage. In applying the dialogue method with Socratic analysis, paying attention to students' cognitive development stages is a necessity because this can influence the level of understanding of students' reasoning and the effectiveness of the dialogue process. Obstacles encountered in the dialogue process with Socratic analysis in elementary schools, the language used needs to be adjusted to students' understanding, and external conditions, namely the environment which is often less supportive.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai tingkat kesiapan madrasah dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Peneliti berupaya mendapatkan wawasan secara mendalam dengan menganalisis kata-kata dan laporan terperinci perspektif para responden, serta melakukan studi dalam konteks yang alami. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Sebagai  madrasah yang melaksanakan Kurikulum Merdeka, MAN 2 Kota Bandung memiliki komitmen untuk mempersiapkan manajemen perencanaan yang efektif dalam rangka mengimplementasikan kurikulum tersebut.  madrasah ini menyadari pentingnya merancang rencana yang matang agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan prinsip dan hakikat Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan  madrasah dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka di MAN 2 Kota Bandung dikategorikan sebagai "siap" berdasarkan empat aspek kesiapan, yakni kesiapan guru baik dalam memahami capaian, tujuan pembelajaran, merancang pembelajaran. Meskipun kategori ini menunjukkan adanya kesiapan, tetapi masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan, terutama pada kesiapan dalam hal asesmen yang menjadi satu kesatuan dengan pembelajaran di Kurikulum Merdeka.
