Abstract

This research intends to observe how transformational leadership and interpersonal communication affect teachers’ performance at the State Vocational High School of East Jakarta II. Researchers use the survey to collect quantitative data and multiple regression. Using the Slovin technique and closed-questionnaire, the researcher got 78 teachers of 353 people to become the research sample. The hypothesis is obtained from the t-test and F-test. The result shows that transformational leadership and teachers’ performance have a positive and significant effect, which means that the principals’ roles substantially improve teachers’ performance. Interpersonal communication and teachers’ performance also have positive and significant effects. It means that communication between principal and teachers’ can have a significant impact on teachers’ performance. Transformational leadership and interpersonal communication have a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of determination of 0.205 or 20.5%, meaning that transformational leadership and interpersonal communication contribute to an increase in teacher performance of 20.5%.

Abstract

study aims to obtain information about the influence of personality and quality of work life on the work productivity of state high school teachers in region I of the administrative city of East Jakarta. This research is an Associative quantitative research. The research was conducted using a survey method with the data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is the path analysis technique. The population in this study were 801 respondents, and a sample of 267 respondents who were selected using random sampling. The research is focused on two aspects that determine work productivity; Personality and Quality Of Work Life. The results of the analysis conclude that (1) there is a direct influence of Personality on Work Productivity, (2) there is a direct influence of Quality of Work Life on Work Productivity, (3) there is a direct influence of Personality on Quality of Work Life.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the influence of organizational culture and job stress on contra productive behavior of public elementary school teachers in Pulo Gadung sub-district. This research is an Associative quantitative research. The research was conducted using a survey method with the data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is the path analysis technique. The population in this study was 688 respondents, and a sample of 253 respondents were selected using random sampling. The research is focused on two aspects that determine contra productive behavior; organizational culture and job stress. The results of the analysis concluded that (1) there is a direct influence of organizational culture on contra productive behavior, (2) there is a direct effect of job stress on contra productive behavior, (3) there is a direct influence of organizational culture on job stress.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to obtain information about the influence of group cohesiveness and team effectiveness on teachers' productivity of state primary school at Cipondoh districts in Tangerang City. The research was conducted to all of state primary school teachers at Cipondoh districts in Tangerang City by using a survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis. The number 98 teachers as sample was selected by using Slovin formula. The result of the study reveals that: (1) there is direct effect of group cohesiveness on teachers' productivity. (2) there is direct effect of team effectiveness on teachers' productivity. (3) there is direct effect of group cohesiveness on team effectiveness. Therefore to enhance teachers' productivity can be carried out by group cohesiveness and team effectiveness. Keywords: Group cohesiveness, team effectiveness, and teachers' productivity

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of the effect of reward on performance, the effect of job satisfaction on performance and the effect of reward on job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and path analysis techniques. Population of 194 people, sample of 133 teachers. The sampling technique uses a simple random technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Findings, rewards have a positive effect on teacher performance. That is, the provision of better rewards will also increase the teacher's performance issued to the teacher. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on teacher performance. The better the job satisfaction received results in the increase in teacher performance. Reward has a positive direct effect on job satisfaction. providing better rewards will also increase the job satisfaction received by teachers at the educational institution Ibnu Hajar Boarding School. Abstract

In leading schools, principals often face ambiguity, changes in regulations, and challenges in learning. In dealing with these matters, the principal is required to always act professionally, so strengthening the principal's professionalism becomes important. There are many standards for the professionalism of school principals, including integrity, communication skills, and teamwork. The purpose of this study is to determine how integrity, communication skills, and teamwork affect the professionalism of Banten Province, Indonesia's school principals. This research is a quantitative study, with a sample of 122 school principals involved in Banten Province. The data were examined using multiple regression analysis, t-test, and F-test as hypothesis testing. The research results obtained are: i) Integrity has a positive and significant impact on strengthening the professionalism of school principals; ii) Communication skill has a positive and significant impact on strengthening the professionalism of school principals; iii) Teamwork has a positive and significant impact on strengthening the professionalism of school principals; iv) Integrity, communication skills, and teamwork simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on strengthening the professionalism of school principals by 62.1%. Based on these results, it is hoped that schools, supervisors, and the education office, especially Banten province, will pay attention and routinely carry out programs to strengthen the professionalism of school principals which include discussions on integrity, communication skills, and teamwork.
