Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan deskripsi kesejahteraan psikologis mantan pekerja perempuan yang menerima tindakan yang tidak menyenangkan selama proses migrasi atau saat kembali ke rumah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah tiga wanita yang berdomisili di Desa Sebasang Kabupaten Sumbawa yang memiliki latar belakang profesional sebagai mantan pekerja wanita. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa dua subjek (AA dan N) memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis yang baik karena mereka telah mampu memenuhi semua aspek penerimaan diri, hubungan positif dengan orang lain, otonomi, penguasaan lingkungan, tujuan hidup dan pertumbuhan pribadi. Sementara itu, NZ menunjukkan hasil sebaliknya. Kesulitan untuk memenuhi kesejahteraan psikologisnya disebabkan oleh rendahnya penerimaan terhadap pengalaman dan masa lalunya yang bekerja sebagai mantan pekerja migran yang pada akhirnya memberi dampak pada persepsi dia tentang mendefinisikan kehidupan yang bermakna.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how is the correlation between communication interpersonal and the orientation of religiosity of the students of madrasah aliyah in the pesantren Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa. This research uses quantitative approach. The research subjects were taken using population study where the subject of the research be taken from the overall population with 142 students of Madrasah Aliyah in the pesantren Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa. The result of this research shows that there is a correlation between communication interpersonal and the orientation of religiosity with correlation coefficient value (rxy) of 0,687 with p value = 0.0000 / p < 0.05. Based on the average calculation in general, the general picture of communication interpersonal and the orientation of religiosity of the students of madrasah aliyah in the pesantren Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa is in high category. Based on the calculation for the data obtained from communication interpersonal scale, from 142 subjects, 101 subjects (71 %) are in high category, and 41 subjects (29%) are in moderate category. Meanwhile, from the result of calculation for data obtained from the orientation of religiosity scale, from 142 subjects, 138 subjects (97%) are in high category, and 4 subjects (3%) are in moderate category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the emotional regulation of teacher with special needs students who have Qur'anic memorization in guiding and educating children with special needs. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were three accompanying teachers who had taught for more than 1 month at SDIT Insan Qur’ani Sumbawa Besar. Data analysis showed that two subjects (S and M) used memorizing Al-Qur'an as a medium to conduct effective emotional regulation for themselves. Especially subject S who showed better emotion regulation between the two other subjects seen from the cognitive and also emotional expressions that subject S showed when teaching in class. Meanwhile, subject D shows the opposite result. Subject D who has poor emotional regulation does not involve memorizing the Qur'an when feeling negative emotions. There are several factors that researchers found in the field that influence the regulation of emotions possessed by the three subjects namely mood / mood possessed by the subject, readiness to teach, physical condition of the subject while teaching, previous teaching experience, and the extent to which the subject is able to involve the Qur'an in regulating his emotions.

Abstract

This research aims to know the relationship between self-esteem and anxiety in choosing a spouse in early adult women.This research used quantitative descriptive approach. The technique of taking sampling is purposive sampling. Withdrawing sampling used Slovin formula, the sample of this research is fifty five early adult woman who are not married which is in the Kerato Village. The data of the research was carried out by using instrumental research called self-esteem and anxiety. The instrumen of reliability test using validity constrast. The result of this research showed that there are posiive correlations between self-esteem and anxiety by value of c0-efficiency correlation 0,663 with p value = 0,000/p<0,05 which means the higher it is self-esteem so the better it is anxiety in choosing a spouse, and vice versa. The lower self-esteem so the lower anxiety in choosing a spouse. Based on the research output, generally self-esteem be on high level and anxiety in choosing a spouse be on hight level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe parenting style in adolscent moral development (case study in the village of pernek). In this study the researchers made 3 parents from different families as research subjects and 3 (three) children from each research subject. The selection of the three subjects is based on different parenting methods used in the family. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentary. The results of this study indicate that parenting with authoritarian and permissive methods are more dominantly applied by subjects 1 and 2 where this upbringing can form a bad moral for children (adolescents). Then parenting with democratic methods is more dominant in subject 3 where this upbringing can form a good moral for children (adolescents). Authoritarian parenting has a low "acceptance" attitude but high control of adolescents, rigidity, physical punishment and high emotion. Permissive parenting has a high "acceptance" attitude but low control of adolescents and gives freedom to teens to express their encouragement or desires. Democratic parenting provides freedom and order, parents provide direction or inputs that are not binding on children, in this case parents are also objective to children, attention and also control of children's behavior so parents can adjust to their children's abilities.

Abstract

Unemployment is a complex problems faced by many people including undergraduate students. However, enterpreneurship interest becomes an alternative method to increase student self efficacy. The aim of this study is to understand effect of self confidence in enterpreneursip interest undergraduate students in Economic and Business of Faculty, Sumbawa University of Technology. This study using descriptive quantitative approach and the instrument using a questionnaire method. Instrument testing using validity “Product momen person” and reability test. Analysis data using simple linear regression and the number of responden is 90 students with spesific criteria. Analysis output showing that level of significant linear regression to enterpreneurship interest is 0,000 or smaller than 0,05, self-confidence give positive effect in enterpreneurship interest with regression cofficient value is 0,522. R Square output value is 0,377 showing that selfe-efficacy contribute as much 37,7% to made variable of enterpreneurship interest and the rest is formed outside the variable. Therefore, stated hypothesis is accepted showing that Self-confidence give effect to enterpreneurship interest undergraduate students in Economic and Business of Faculty, Sumbawa University of Technology. Based on the result of this study, it can be suggested that students should have strong self-efficacy and always increase their knowledge concern enterpereneurship to increase entereneurship interest and apply enterpreurial activies consistently.

Abstract

Trauma is one of the factors that can influence students academic achieviement. This research aims to know the influence of trauma on the academic achievement junior high school students after Earthquake in West Alas sub-district.This study apply a quantittative descriptive approach. The sampling technique apply Purposive Sampling, attracting by screening and determining the sample representatively using cluster sampling. The research sample consisted of 61 students grade VIII at SMPN 1 Alas Barat. The research data was obtained by using research instruments in the form of trauma scale and report value.The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of trauma for the academic achievement with the value of R Square of 0.230 with a significant value of 0.000<0.05. Based on the results of the study, generally trauma of grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Alas Barat in are in the medium category, which is 36.1%. The results of the study also showed that the academic achievement of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Alas Barat was included in the medium category of 34.4%. Trauma provides an effective contribution to the academic achievements of post-earthquake junior high school students in Alas Barat sub-district by 23% and 77% influenced by other factors outside of the research.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the relationship between peer group conformity with the smoking behavior in the students grade SMKN 1 Sumbawa. This research uses a quantitative approach. Taking the subject of the research is done using the approach of study population with a total of 60 people in SMKN 1 Sumbawa. Research data obtained by using a research instrument in the form of two scale i.e. conformity scale peers and the behavior of smoke. Peer conformity scale consists of 25 items with validity coefficients between 0.301 until 0.598 and reliability coefficient of 0.818. While the scale of the smoking behaviour consists of 29 items with validity coefficients between up to 0.305 0.610 and reliability coefficient of 0.816. The results of this research show that the existence of a relationship (correlation) is negative with 0.363 (called r empirical or re). With the number of the subject as many as 60 people (N = 60). A correlation can be seen from the p value 0.05 to calculate < showed a significant relationship. Based on the analysis of the data, i.e. calculate p value obtained of 0.004 which means that p = 0.004 < 0.05 and this shows the relationship or correlation is significant.

Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is the ability of a person to deal with and solve problems of meaning and value which are closely related to one's emotions. This study aims to determine the relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and Emotional Regulation in Class IIA Prisoners Sumbawa Besar. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Simple Random Sampling was used as the research sampling technique. Slovin formula was used in the withdrawal of samples. The research sample was 81 class IIA prisoners at Sumbawa Besar. The research data were obtained using research instruments in the form of spiritual intelligence scale and emotional regulation. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship (correlation) between spiritual intelligence and emotional regulation with a correlation coefficient of 0.444 with a calculated p value of 0.0001 / p <0.05, which means that the higher the spiritual intelligence, the higher the emotional regulation of the prisoners, and vice versa, the lower the spiritual intelligence, the lower the emotional regulation of the prisoners. The results also showed that prisoners' spiritual intelligence in general was in the moderate category of 39% and emotional regulation also showed that they were generally included in the moderate category of 31.7%.

Abstract

Character Education in which there is an element of self-development is a conscious effort to improve the quality of the individual's self against the potential possessed through the experience and new knowledge gained by individuals during their life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of character education on self-development of students at SMPN 1 Sumbawa Besar. This research used descriptive quantitative approach. Meanwhile, data collection technique employed the Slovin formula. The number of sample participated in this study was 88 students coming from grade 7, 8, and 9. The research data were obtained using a research instrument in the form of two scales, namely the scale of character education and the scale of self-development. The results of the study portray that character education has an effect on self-development of students with a value of p = 0,000 / p <0.05 and R Square of 0.297 which means that the better the character education is applied, the higher the self-development of students is. Character education has an effect of 29.7% and 71.3% is influenced by other variables outside the study. Character education is in the good category with the highest aspect being the religious aspect, while self-development is in the good category with the highest aspect being the aspect of moral potential
