Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of sopi, a traditional Manggarai drink, in the relationship between individuals and their sociocultural role in Manggarai. The data of this study was taken from two popular Manggarai song texts, Toki Sloki by MukaRakat and Langu, which Embong Lemot created. This article results from a qualitative descriptive study using an anthropological approach. This approach is used to see the role and position of sopi in the relationship between individuals and interpret their sociocultural symbols. Based on the analysis of the text of the two songs, it is known that sopi, as a traditional Manggarai liquor, has a sociocultural position and plays an important role in relationships with others and people who have died. Sopi glues relationships with others in respect, friendship, responsibility, and cooperation. In addition, sopi is also used to commemorate people who have died during traditional ceremonies or in the circle of friends of certain groups.

Abstract

Language can perpetuate gender bias. The formulation of language in media coverage also strengthens, soothes, even injustices against women in society, including actresses. The purpose of this research is to find and describe the variety of gender bias language in the reporting of post-divorce actresses. This research includes a qualitative descriptive study. The data source for this research is media coverage which is limited to news about post-divorce actresses. The data taken is in the form of gender biased news titles and contents. In collecting data using the read-read method, supported by orthographic techniques. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using constructivism analysis in sociolinguistics. The results of this study indicate that there are still media that place divorced actresses as news objects that are sexy and gender biased. The variety of language gender bias appears in the form of diction, phrases and sentences. These various forms of language can position women as sexual objects, such as various metaphors that refer to women's bodies, diction and sentences that point to the meaning that women are the cause of household breakdown, as well as various languages ​​in the form of labeling women or stigmatization.

Abstract

Ketokohan dan Nilai-nilai Spritualitas Ajaran Sunan Kalijaga dalam Praktik Kesenian Karawitan di Kabupaten Demak. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengungkapkan ketokohan ataupun pengaruh Nilai-nilai spritualitas ajaran Sunan Kalijaga dalam praktek kesenian di Kabupaten Demak. Hal ini penting dilakukan, mengingat telah menjamurnya tokoh-tokoh dan ajaran atau falsafah barat yang lebih besar eksis di Indonesia, seolah Indonesia tidak mempunyai tokoh yang mewariskan falsafah/ajaran tertentu. Harapannya penelitian ini, bisa menjawab ketimpangan penggunaan falsafah/ajaran barat itu khususnya dalam bidang seni.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpalan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Adapun dalam analisis data, menggunakan model Miles & Huberman. Pertama, temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah, karya gending karawitan ciptaan Yusuf Sofyan pengurus Sanggar Seni Mulyo Sari Raras di Kabupaten Demak yang terinspirasi dari kisah hidup Wali sanga khususnya Sunan Kalijaga. Kedua, temuan falsafah murni Sunan Kalijaga dalam menjalani hidup bersosial maupun berkesenian yang diinformasikan oleh keturunan beliau.

Abstract

Background: This PKM Prodi research discusses training for teachers in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) multimedia in learning. The role of multimedia in education is becoming increasingly important to emphasise learning outcomes. The main objective of this research is to train teachers at SMK Elanus Karot Ruteng to use AI-based multimedia learning applications. This research focuses on training teachers at SMK ElanusRuteng in the use of AI-based learning multimedia applications, involving a total of 18 people and will take place over 3 days of activities. Method: The methods in the research are: training planning, training implementation, programme implementation evaluation assistance, programme sustainability evaluation. Result: Teachers can use AI applications to create learning material products in the form of PowerPoint presentations, short stories, graphics, images and learning videos that support more interesting subject matter. Increased ability and skills in the use of information technology and web-based learning media for teachers to support the learning process, resulting in increased student participation and understanding of the material. Conclusion: From this research, it can be concluded that teachers are collaborating to be more innovative and adaptable to technological advances that affect education. This collaboration with Artificial Intelligence must, of course, be adapted to valid and up-to-date references according to the needs of the material.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze forms of cultural identity crisis in contemporary Manggarai songs circulating through social media. The study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis method and Bhabha's Cultural Hybridity theory, to examine the relationship between song lyrics, social practices, and the use of cultural symbols. The results of this study indicate that the cultural identity crisis is reflected in ambivalent discourse and the use of traditional symbols in new forms that are inconsistent with their original meanings. Cultural symbols that were once sacred now appear in the context of emotional expression, social humor, and digital entertainment. This phenomenon shows a shift in meaning and function, where society is no longer in a position of established identity, but instead in a space of negotiation between tradition and modernity. Local music in the digital era has become an important arena for responding to social and economic pressures and the influence of media algorithms. This study concludes that cultural expression through songs reflects the dynamics of constantly changing identities. Recommendations for further research include expanding the study to other musical genres or different cultural contexts to understand the transformation of cultural identity in the broader digital landscape.

Abstract

Para siswa kelas XII SMAN 1 Langke Rembong belum mempersiapkan diri secara khusus untuk memilih perguruan tinggi atau program studi yang akan dituju setelah menamatkan sekolah menengah meskipun mayoritas siswa di sekolah mitra berkeinginan untuk melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi. Para siswa belum mendapat informasi tentang pemilihan perguruan tinggi yang sesuai dengan bakat dan minat, dan juga hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan saat memilih Perguruan Tinggi dan Program Studi. Melalui PkM ini para siswa diperkenalkan pada jenis dan bentuk perguruan tinggi, akreditasi, program studi, pedoman akademik, profil lulusan, tri dharma, kurikulum, kampus merdeka, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan biaya kuliah. Diharapkan dengan motivasi dan informasi yang disampaikan dalam PkM, para siswa lebih siap memasuki jenjang perguruan tinggi dan dapat memilih program studi yang sesuai dengan bakat dan minat sehingga mempermudah mereka menamatkan pendidikan dengan hasil yang memuaskan.
