Abstract

This study has the aim of analyzing student learning outcomes after being taught by using a brain based learning model and analyzing the influence/impact of brain based learning on student learning outcomes. This research is a true experimental posttest only control design, which consists of a control class of 34 students and an experimental class of 34 students. The independent variable of this research is the brain based learning model, while the dependent variable is the physics learning outcome. The research instrument used the form of multiple choice tests on static fluid material as many as 25 questions. The data analysis technique used consisted of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, namely the t test using the SPSS 24 application, but previously the initial assumption test was carried out as a normality test and homogeneity as a t test requirement. If the initial assumption test results do not meet, then non-parametric analysis will be used. The results of descriptive analysis can be stated that the average score of students' physics learning outcomes with brain based learning as a learning model is higher than in conventional classes or classes that do not use brain based learning. The high results of student learning in classes with brain based learning are due to the influence/impact of learning by using this model. This research can give results that there is an influence/impact of brain based learning as a learning model on physics learning outcomes. Students optimize their brain work if they use a brain based learning model so that physics learning outcomes increase.

Abstract

The type of research used in this research is Pre-Experimental Designs research. The objectives of this research are: 1) To describe the learning outcomes of students in class X MIPA at SMA Negeri 5 Bone before and after the implementation of online learning with the educational game Quizizz in learning; 2) Describe the improvement in learning outcomes of students in class X MIPA at SMA Negeri 5 Bone before and after the implementation of online learning using the Quizizz educational game in learning. The samples in this study were students of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Bone which consisted of 31 students. The data collection technique used in collecting data in this study was by means of a test consisting of a pretest and posttest in the form of multiple choices. The results of the descriptive analysis in this study showed that the scores obtained by students in the posttest were much higher than the scores obtained in the pretest. Where the average score in the pretest is 13.42 with a standard deviation of 4.20, while in the posttest the average score obtained by students is 23.98 with a standard deviation of 4.70. So there is an increase in student learning outcomes before and after being taught by applying the Quizizz educational game, where the increase is in the moderate category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that physics learning content based on mobile learning can be accessed widely and most students have cellphones, but it has not been widely used to increase student enthusiasm in learning physics. Physics Learning Media Based on Mobile Learning is an effort to solve this problem. One of them is by Development of Physics Learning Media-Based Mobile Learning Using Adobe Flash CS6. This study aimed to determine the development of learning media products based on mobile learning using adobe flash CS6 and to examine the the feasibility of learning media based on mobile learning using Adobe Flash CS6 at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This type of research was a research and development starting from the defining stage (define), the design stage (design), and the development stage (develop). This mobile learning-based physics learning media was tested for validity by 2 experts of media, and tested for its effectiveness by 33 students. The results achieved were the m-learning media products that used the adobe flash CS6 application with validity criteria that were relevant, consistent and have practical usability, as well as effective implementation. These instructional media products can be used by teaching staff and students in higher education. as well as effective implementation. Abstract

Assessment of practicum activities must encompass all aspects of scientific practices. Observations in this research indicate that the assessment utilized by the Physics Education Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar for practicum activities is an Authentic Assessment consisting of three assessment components: response, practicum activities, and report. This assessment is the result of development by one of the lecturers who taught courses integrated with practicum activities in 2015, and its implementation began in 2016. Using authentic assessment instruments in the form of worksheet, this study aims to assess the scientific practice skills of students enrolled in Basic Physics practicum. This research employed quantitative descriptive research. Thirteen first-semester students in the academic year 2022/2023 participated as the research subject. The results demonstrate that the assessment conducted using authentic assessment in practicum activities did not encompass all indicators of scientific practice skills. The authentic assessment did not include three of the eight indicators of scientific practice skills, namely the ability to ask questions, develop and use a model, and discover, evaluate, and communicate data findings. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize specialized assessment to measure the effectiveness of scientific practices, such as scientific practices assessment instruments.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 5 Bone merupakan salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan pembelajaran fisika melalui daring di tengah maraknya wabah covid-19. Untuk menarik minat siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika, maka dibutuhkan alternatif pembelajaran yang mampu menjadikan pembelajaran fisika menjadi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Salah satunya adalah menggunakan layanan aplikasi yang sudah disediakan oleh pihak ketiga yaitu aplikasi Quizizz yang dapat digunakan oleh pendidik untuk membuat pembelajaran fisika lebih menarik dimata peserta didik. Quizizz merupakan sebuah web-tool untuk membuat permainan kuis interaktif yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran yang dapat diakses secara luas oleh peserta didik tanpa harus bertatap muka langsung. Quizizz juga dapat memberikan data dan statistik tentang kinerja peserta didik. Pendidik dapat melacak berapa peserta didik yang menjawab pertanyaan yang telah dibuat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian Pre-Experimental Designs. Instrumen penelitian adalah alat atau fasilitas yang digunakan peneliti dalam mengumpulkan data. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen yaitu berupa tes hasil belajar. Untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Bone, peneliti menggunakan instrumen berupa multiple chice (pilihan ganda), di mana jawaban pada masing-masing item berupa lima alternatif pilihan dengan satu jawaban tepat. Sebelum diberikan kepada peserta didik instrumen di analisis terlebih dahulu untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas perangkat yang akan digunakan, instrumen tersebut divalidasi oleh dua pakar (ahli), kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan uji Gregory. Adapun luaran yang ditargetkan yaitu (1) pengetahuan peserta didik dalam penguasaan ilmu fisika serta kemampuan interaktif berbasis internet dalam penggunaan game edukasi quizizz; (2) pengetahuan praktis ilmu fisika yang dimiliki para pendidik dan peserta didik yang akan diperoleh melalu kegiatan penelitian; (3) mengubah paradigma berpikir peserta didik bahwa “Fisika itu Menyenangkan dan Tidak Sulit” melalui game edukasi quizizz

Abstract

Penggunaan media benda konkret yang tepat dapat memaksimalkan pembelajaran dan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam menangkap materi yang disampaikan pada materi gaya, gerak, dan energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA dengan penerapan media benda konkret pada kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pre-Experimental. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu media pembelajaran benda konkret, dan variabel terikat yaitu pemahaman konsep IPA siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu pretest, perlakuan dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada saat pretest 51,11 dikategorikan rendah dan belum tuntas sedangkan setelah menerapkan media benda konkret pada saat posttes nilai rata-ratanya di kategorikan tinggi dan tuntas yaitu 85,39. Pada hasil uji N-gain nilai rata-rata peserta didik dikategorikan tinggi yaitu 0,71 dari N-Gain > 0,7. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media benda konkret dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa pada materi gaya, gerak dan energi kelas IV SDN 57 Sangeran Kab. Enrekang.
