Abstract

Puskesmas is a type of first-level health service that has an important role in the national health system. The contribution of Puskesmas in controlling the spread of Covid-19 is very important, to be able to manage their resources effectively and efficiently so that they are expected to be able to break the chain of transmission from one individual to another, from one family to another, even on a wider community scale. Along with the 'New Normal' culture, the implementation of health protocols is a must to be implemented by the entire community, either individually, in groups or in existing organizational systems, including Puskesmas. In this case, The Indonesian Ministry of Health through the Directorate of Primary Health Services, the Director General of Health Services, has issued a regulation regarding the Technical Services of Public Health Centers during the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020. The application of health protocols at health centers will lead to several changes in the pattern of services by health workers at health centers. The provision of health services by implementing health protocols in the New Normal era must maintain service quality. One indicator of service quality is the level of client satisfaction. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct research to determine whether there is a relationship between the application of health protocols and client satisfaction at the Banjarmasin Health Center. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross sectional approach, sampling technique with accidental sampling, the number of respondents is 50 people. Analysis of the data using chi square results obtained p value 0.109, so that p <0.05 (alpha); Based on statistical tests, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the implementation of health protocols and client satisfaction at the Banjarmasin Health Center. In the current New Normal era, supporting facilities are increasingly complete in implementing health protocols at health centers such as the availability of hand washing tools and materials, , masks and service patterns based on health protocol policies, the client will feel safe to get service and this will have an impact on increasing client satisfaction as a service user community.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Fenomena kurang percaya diri sering terjadi pada mahasiswa DIII Keperawatan yang sedang berpraktik klinik, hal ini terlihat dari mahasiswa merasa kurang memiliki keberanian maupun sering merasa gagal dan gugup saat melakukan prosedur tindakan keperawatan. Rasa takut berbuat salah atau kurang percaya diri akhirnya akan berdampak pada minimnya pengalaman klinik mahasiswa selama di lahan praktik. Adanya hubungan yang baik antara preseptor dan mahasiswa akan mampu membantu meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan akan berdampak pada kemampuan mahasiswa dalam melakukan prosedur tindakan selama mahasiswa tersebut berpraktik.Tujuan: . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pendampingan preseptor terhadap rasa percaya diri mahasiswa ketika melakukan prosedur keperawatan di Rumah Sakit. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 45 orang mahasiswa DIII KeperawatanHasil: Hasil uji statistik menggunakan chi square didapatkan nilai ρ = 0,585 α = 0,05, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pendampingan preseptor terhadap rasa percaya diri mahasiswa ketika melakukan prosedur keperawatan di Rumah Sakit.Simpulan: Pihak institusi pendidikan memiliki andil yang besar dalam rangka memberi kesempatan kepada mahasiswanya untuk mempraktekan prosedur tindakan keperawatan di laboratorium keperawatan sebelum terjun langsung praktik di rumah sakit sehingga dalam diri mahasiswa sudah tertanam rasa percaya diri yang tinggi dan nantinya mampu melaksanakan tindakan keperawatan baik didampingi preseptor ataupun tidak Kata Kunci : Rasa Percaya Diri, Preseptor, MahasiswaTHE RELATIONSHIP OF PRESEPTOR ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS' CONFIDENCE WHEN PERFORMING NURSING PROCEDURES IN HOSPITALBackground: The phenomenon of lack of self-confidence often occurs in DIII Nursing students who are practicing clinically, this can be seen from students feeling less courageous and often feeling failed and nervous when carrying out nursing procedures. The fear of making mistakes or lack of confidence will ultimately have an impact on the lack of clinical experience for students while in practice. The existence of a good relationship between the perceiver and the student will be able to help increase self-confidence and will have an impact on the student's ability to carry out action procedures while the student is practicing.Aim: . This study aims to determine the relationship between preceptors' mentoring and students' self-confidence when performing nursing procedures at the hospital. The sample in this study was 45 students of DIII Nursing.Results: The results of statistical tests using chi square obtained a value of = 0.585 = 0.05, this indicates that there is no relationship between the mentoring of the receptors on the students' self-confidence when performing nursing procedures at the hospital.Conclusion: Educational institutions have a big role in providing opportunities for students to practice nursing action procedures in nursing laboratories before going directly to practice in hospitals so that students have high self-confidence and will be able to carry out nursing actions both accompanied by a precept or notKeywords: Confidence, Preceptors, Students

Abstract

One of the factors that influence patient satisfaction with health services is communication by health workers. The implementation of nursing care is never separated from the interaction process that occurs between nurses and clients because nursing is based on a caring and helping relationship, in this relationship good communication is needed. Effective communication and quality of nursing services are factors that contribute to patient satisfaction. Clients as users of nursing services demand nursing services in accordance with their rights, namely quality and complete nursing services. Clients will complain if the perceived caring behavior does not provide satisfaction for him. Objective: To determine the relationship between effective nurse communication and the level of client satisfaction in the Inpatient Room. Methods: The design of this study was correlational with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were clients who were treated in an inpatient room, totaling 20. Random sampling technique, the sample in this study was 17. Spearman's Rho correlation test with = 0.05. Results: In this study 14 respondents (82.4%) implemented effective communication and 3 respondents (17.6%) had not/less implemented effective communication and 14 respondents (82.4%) were satisfied and 3 respondents (17.6%) ) not satisfied. The results of the Spearman's Rho Correlation Test obtained p value = 0.000. The conclusion of the correlation between effective communication with client satisfaction is significant. With the Spearman Correlation value of 0.835, it shows that there is a relationship between effective nurse communication and the level of client satisfaction in the inpatient room.

Abstract

Penyebaran Covid-19 menjadikan permasalahan serius yang berdampak pada perubahan sistem pelayanan di rumah sakit. Menjadi tantangan bagi perawat jika selalu melaksanakan handover di samping tempat tidur pasien karena berisiko tinggi terpapar Covid-19. Tujuan program adalah optimalisasi nursing handover masa pandemi untuk tetap menjamin efektifitas kesinambungan perawatan tanpa mengesampingkan prinsip patient safety. Program ini dirancang dengan mengadakan workshop untuk perawat dan pendampingan pelaksanaan di rawat inap percontohan di rumah sakit swasata Banjarmasin. Bedside handover di kamar pasien saat pandemi dilakukan kurang dari 2 menit demi menjaga kepuasan pasien namun tetap meminimalkan waktu kontak dengan pasien. Formulir handover tidak hanya diterapkan untuk ruang rawat inap, tetapi juga untuk ruang-ruangan lain yang berkaitan dengan tindakan pasien. Pentingnya pelaksanaan dan dokumentasi nursing handover adalah untuk menjamin aspek legal etik asuhan keperawatan. Saran yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan kegiatan supervisi keperawatan untuk menjamin pelaksanaan nursing handover tetap sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Rumah sakit disarankan mengembangkan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan digital guna menyikapi tantangan new normal.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Handover is a technique or way to convey and receive something (report) related to the patient's condition. Inaccurate information in handover can have a serious impact on patients, almost 70% of incidents that cause disability or death are due to poor communication. Many factors influence the implementation of the handover, one of which is the attitude and behavior of a nurse. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the attitudes and behavior of nurses with the implementation of the handover in the Inpatient Room of Sambang Lihum Hospital. The research design used was cross-sectional. The study was conducted at Sambang Lihum Hospital with a sample of 135 nurses using a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted in December 2019. The research used questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate with Spearman rank test. The results of the research on the attitude factor of the implementing nurses were in a good category (83.70%), with the behavior of the implementing nurses in the positive category (66.67%), most of the nurses were in a good category (66.67%) in the implementation of the handover. There is a relationship between the attitude and behavior of nurses with the implementation of handover in the Inpatient Room of the Sambang Lihum Hospital.  Keywords: Attitude, Behavior, Implementation Of Handover  ABSTRAK Timbang terima merupakan teknik atau cara untuk menyampaikan dan menerima sesuatu (laporan) yang berkaitan dengan keadaan pasien. Ketidakakuratan informasi dalam melakukan timbang terima dapat menimbulkan dampak yang serius pada pasien, hampir 70% kejadian yang menyebabkan kecacatan atau kematian disebabkan karena buruknya komunikasi. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan timbang terima salah satunya yaitu sikap dan perilaku seorang perawat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan sikap dan perilaku perawat dengan pelaksanaan timbang terima di Ruang Rawat Inap RSJ Sambang Lihum. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di RSJ Sambang Lihum dengan Sampel 135 perawat menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan bulan Desember 2019. Peneltian menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Analisa data menggunakan univariat dan bivariat dengan uji spearman rank. Hasil penelitian faktor sikap perawat pelaksana kategori baik (83,70%), dengan perilaku perawat pelaksana kategori positif (66,67%), sebagian besar dari perawat pelaksana kategori baik (66,67%) dalam pelaksanaan timbang terima. Ada hubungan sikap dan perilaku perawat dengan pelaksanaan timbang terima di Ruang Rawat Inap RSJ Sambang Lihum. Kata Kunci: Sikap, Perilaku, Pelaksanaan Timbang Terima

Abstract

Pemasangan infus merupakan salah satu tindakan invasif yang sering dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan dan dilakukan dalam jangka waktu yang lama sehingga meningkatkan kemungkinan komplikasi pada pembuluh darah vena, salah satunya adalah flebitis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan lama hari pemasangan infus dengan kejadian flebitis diruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit di Banjarmasin Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif correlation yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menggambarkan dua atau lebih fakta dan sifat-sifat obyek yang sedang diteliti. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan Tabel VIP Skor (Visual Infusion Phlebitis Score), dan rekam medik, kemudian membuat kesimpulan yang berlaku untuk umum. Hasil analisis data dengan uji chi-square  didapatkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,001 (<0,05) maka dapat dinyatakan ada hubungan lama pemasangan infus terhadap kejadian flebitis Kesimpulan penelitian terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara hubungan lama hari pemasangan infus dengan kejadian flebitis pada pasien rawat inap Rumah Sakit di Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Background: Interaction between people is facilitated by communication. The self concept might take on a positive or negative form. Gen Z is unique among current generations. Not just for the social structure they have come up in, but also for their spending habits, which differ from other generations. Objective: to investigate the possible relationship between generation Z nursing students' interpersonal communication skills and their self concept. Methods: A cross-sectional approach to correlation analysis was used in the research technique. The instruments were questionnaires and observations. The research sample consisted of 70 seventh semester preprofessional nursing students from Banjarmasin, selected using a total sampling technique. The Spearmen Rank Correlation test was utilized in this investigation. Results: indicated that 95.7% of students exhibited a good self concept, whereas 78.6% of students had intermediate levels of interpersonal communication abilities. The statistical test results showed a significant link (p < 0.05) between nursing students' self concept and their interpersonal communication skills. Conclusion: Students have a positive self concept, but clinical practice experience and social media influence their interpersonal communication skills. Suggestion: It is necessary to develop a program to improve both the positive nursing student’s self concept and teaching learning methods suitable for Z generation nurses to their communication abilities.
