Abstract

Abstrak: Teachers of Palembang 130 Elementary School still use one-way learning patterns where the teacher explains the material in front of the class and only relies on textbooks. Based on the results of interviews and discussions, the ability of SDN 130 Papuan teachers is still lacking. One contributing factor is age, besides the lack of availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure. SDN 130 Palembang teachers are more comfortable using conventional learning methods. They consider that conventional learning methods are easier, less difficult, and assume the material in the book is sufficient. This community service is aimed at providing training to teachers in SDN 130 Palembang in order to make the internet an alternative source of learning. The target to be achieved is to raise the motivation of teachers to recognize the internet as an alternative source of learning. The method used is counseling, direct practice, and discussion. The result of this activity is that teachers are greatly helped in the use of the internet as an alternative source of learning and developing teaching materials. So they don't just use my text as a learning resource. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan diskusi, kemampuan guru SDN 130 Papua masih kurang. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah usia, selain kurangnya ketersediaan fasilitas dan infrastruktur pendukung. Guru SDN 130 Palembang lebih nyaman menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Mereka menganggap bahwa metode pembelajaran konvensional lebih mudah, tidak sulit, dan menganggap materi dalam buku ini sudah cukup. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru di SDN 130 Palembang untuk menjadikan internet sebagai sumber belajar alternatif. Sasaran yang ingin dicapai adalah meningkatkan motivasi guru untuk mengenali internet sebagai sumber belajar alternatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah konseling, praktik langsung, dan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para guru sangat terbantu dalam penggunaan internet sebagai sumber belajar alternatif dan mengembangkan bahan ajar. Jadi mereka tidak hanya menggunakan teks saya sebagai sumber belajar.Kata kunci: alternatif sumber belajar;  IT; pemanfaatan internet

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and find out how the influence of transformational leadership and knowledge management on the performance of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic lecturers. This research is a quantitative research, data obtained from questionnaires distributed to lecturers of the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic with a total sample of 65 people. The sampling technique is convenience sampling. The data was processed using SPSS 22. The analysis technique used Multiple Linear Regression. The test results obtained partially transformational leadership does not affect the performance of the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic lecturers and partially knowledge management affects the performance of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic lecturers.

Abstract

SME’s songket weaving is a small business that utilizes information technology as a business strategy such as marketing tools that penetrate national borders. The famous SME’s songket woven fabric is in Palembang, where songket woven fabric is a typical handicraft of Palembang city. This study is aimed at testing and analyzing the factors that influence information technology utilization in the songket woven SME’s. The method that supports the use of information technology is the Thompson method. The factors analyzed were Social Factors, Affect, Complexity, Job Fit, Long Term Consequences and Facilitating Conditions that utilize of information technology. The sample of this study is 90 employees of 25 SME’s songket woven cloth who have used information technology in their business processes. The results of this study are the Affect, Complexity, Job Fit, Long-Term Consequences variables that do not affect the use of information technology, while the Social Factor, and Facilitating Conditions influence the use of information technology..

Abstract

Udara adalah elemen penting bagi kehidupan, agar makhluk hidup dapat hidup secara optimal, mereka perlu menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitasnya. Kualitas udara dalam ruangan erat kaitannya dengan efisiensi kerja dan kesehatan manusia. Pencemaran udara adalah suatu keadaan dimana kualitas udara  rusak dan tercemar zat-zat, baik yang tidak berbahaya maupun yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan manusia. Pada umumnya  pencemar udara  berupa gas beracun (hampir 90%) dari partikel padat. Didukung oleh data yang dirilis who (2018), hingga 3,8 juta orang meninggal setiap tahunnya dikarenakan polusi udara termasuk partikel PM 2.5( partikel metter 2.5). Salah satu upaya dan metode yang dapat dilakukan untuk menanggulangi krisis keadaan udara bersih, adalah dengan menerapkan alat penjernih udara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan alat penjernih udara yang dapat menyaring partikel udara maupun partikel kecil 2.5, sekaligus memonitoring kualitas udara dengan Internet Of things (IoT) melalui aplikasi blynk pada smartphone. Penelitian ini menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno, NodeMCU ESP8266, sensor Radar RCWL 0516 sebagai aktifasi dari alat penjernih udara dan sensor (partikel metter 2.5).Pengukuran  dalam penelitian ini dilakukan selama 24 jam dalam kondisi normal didalam ruangan hasil yang diperoleh sebesar 42µg/m3 yang artinya kualitas udara tersebut baik dan tidak berdampak bagi kesehatan mahluk hidup.

Abstract

The potential of land in Indonesia which is quite large and has not been used optimally is one of the problems. this study focused on developing fuzzy logic models to predict plants that are suitable for planting on agricultural land to enable the land use more optimal. In conducting this study, there were two stages of implementation, namely hardware design, and software design which included system workflow design using the Fuzzy Logic Classifier method where three input variables were used, namely soil pH, soil temperature, and humidity. The findings of this study are in the form of predictions consisting of eight outputs, namely Unfavorable Land, Spinach, Cayenne Pepper, Beans, Long Beans, Cucumber, Eggplant, and Tomatoo. The prediction results generated were directly displayed on the LCD of the instrument that has been designed.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi semakin pesat, sebagai agen perubahan mahasiswa dituntut untuk merespon perkembangan teknologi masyarakat. Pelatihan mikrokontroler arduino adalah solusi yang tepat sehingga dengan pelatihan ini dapat memperbarui keterampilan seseorang sebanding dengan transformasi teknologi. Target dari pelatihan ini adalah mengenalkan mikrokontroler Arduino kepada para siswa SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. Tujuan khusus yang ingin dicapai, yaitu meningkatnya kreativitas para siswa dalam pembuatan proyek-proyek berbasis Arduino. Pada pelatihan ini, digunakan 3 metode yaitu beregu, perancangan, dan demonstrasi. Dengan menggunakan ketiga metode tersebut, para siswa sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan dan ingin mempelajari lebih lanjut. Diharapkan adanya keberlanjutan program pelatihan Arduino guna meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam bidang elektronika. Kata Kunci: Arduino, Internet of Things, Mikrokontroler ABSTRACT The development of science and technology is growing rapidly, and as agents of change, students are required to respond to the technological developments of society. Training in Arduino microcontrollers is the ideal solution for keeping one's skills current with technological advancements. This training's objective is to introduce the Arduino microcontroller to the SMA Negeri 3 Palembang pupils. Boosting inventiveness of students when creating Arduino-based projects is the specific objective to be met. Teams, design, and demonstration were the three techniques employed in this training. The students are very excited to participate in the session and want to learn more due to these three techniques. Abstract

Monitoring the position of transportation equipment is important in the world of transportation, one of which is on ships. This is needed to know the position of the ship accurately when there is a possible risk of an accident. Global Positioning System (GPS) technology is a satellite navigation system and a geographic positioning system using satellites through 24 satellites that transmit microwave signals to Earth. In this study using the NEO-6M GPS module which functions as a GPS receiver (Global Positioning System Receiver) to detect locations by capturing and processing signals from navigation satellites. The locations that were the target of the test were the Musi River, to be precise, at Location 1 in the Musi 6 area and Location 2 in the Benteng Kuto Besak (BKB) area. Based on location 1 in the Musi 6 area, the Latitude is -3.005045 and the Longitude is 104.751624. Furthermore, for ship testing at location 2 in the BKB area, the results obtained were a Latitude of -2.992315 and a Longitude of 104.760456. The results obtained from this design are able to display information data from ships in the form of Maps on the Blynk application and notifications will appear when the SOS button is pressed. So that it can help the evacuation process when an accident or emergency occurs on the ship correctly and precisely. As well as being able to increase security and a sense of comfort for the safety of ship passengers while using water transportation.

Abstract

Kualitas udara yang dihirup sehari-hari harus menjadi perhatian untuk dapat mencegah berbagai penyakit akibat pencemaran udara. BMKG merupakan badan negara yang salah satu tugasnya adalah memberikan informasi mengenai kualitas udara kepada masyarakat. Pada saat ini informasi tersebut dapat diakses oleh masyarakat melalui website dan aplikasi Android BMKG. Untuk dapat menyajikan data kualitas udara, maka dibutuhkan sistem jaringan sensor yang mampu membaca kualitas udara dengan akurat. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini telah disosialisasikan suatu alternatif sistem monitoring kualitas udara yang menggunakan komuniaksi multi-hop berbasis LoRa kepada pihak BMKG Balai Klimatologi Kelas I Palembang selaku mitra. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk berbagi pengetahuan mengenai alternatif alat pemantau kualitas udara kepada mitra. Fitur yang ditawarkan diantaranya kemampuan membaca kualitas udara dari lima parameter yaitu: kandungan karbon dioksida, karbon monoksida, methane, partikulat serta kelembapan udara. Dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat diketahui bahwa mitra telah memahami cara kerja alat ini. Selain itu tim pengabdi juga mendapatkan berbagai masukan dari mitra untuk pengembangan alat ini. Dengan biaya pembuatan alat yang relatif murah diharapkan alat ini dapat digunakan oleh mitra sebagai alternatif penyajian informasi kualitas udara kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

This paper aims to design an automatic organic fertilizer processing tool by utilizing the Internet Of Things (IOT) as a monitoring system. The proposed tool system aims to make it easier to sort organic waste or inorganic waste which can then also automatically process organic waste into organic fertilizer. The method used is a literature survey conducted to solve relevant problems. At this stage, a data collection survey is carried out by utilizing previous research sources from books, journals, and the internet. We used this literature review to enable us to update the tool from previous research. The proposed system uses ESP 32 module as a microcontroller that can connect to WiFi. In addition, it has also been introduced in the Internet of Things (IOT) as an automatic monitoring system for organic fertilizer processing plants. Garbage download information is sent via the internet and returned to the Android application. However, in this study, one application, namely WhatsApp, was used. Garbage has long been a social problem, especially in big cities, polluting the environment, endangering public health, and reducing environmental aesthetics. Therefore, waste management is important to minimize the negative impact of waste. Finally, the research results obtained can be useful as technological development in the future of automatic organic waste processing equipment.

Abstract

Petting animals is one way for humans to reduce stress levels and entertain themselves. When coming home from work, a person needs entertainment at home, namely by keeping cute animals; one of the attractive and widely kept pets is a cat. The presence of cats in the house can help restore mood or feelings, and animals that like to be invited to play. For that, the owner must love his own pet without reducing affection for his pet; a cat's diet must be maintained even though the owner is busy working, especially outside the city, because cats need a good diet. Therefore, the purpose of doing this research is to facilitate cat owners in feeding while doing other activities outside the home. In addition, previous research still cannot feed the cat automatically but can monitor the state of cat activity. This tool uses several sensors, namely the RTCDS3231 sensor, TCS3200, Load Cell, HX711, ESP32CAM. The results obtained are Cat Feeding Using Arduino Uno Microcontroller TCS3200 Sensor, and Internet of Things is a tool system that can notify that the feed has run out, can feed the cat automatically, and can find out the activity of the cat by using the sensor. Several pet shop parties strongly agree that this tool is very helpful, namely to reduce the worry of the owner in feeding the cat.
