Abstract

E-learning has become an important aspect of university education. System evaluation must be carried out by higher education management to identify the number of e-learning successes and future improvement efforts. Three research methodologies were used in this study to measure, classify, and translate service quality into an improvement process, namely SERVQUAL, Kano model, and quality functional deployment (QFD). A survey involving 219 UPN “Veteran” Jakarta students as e-learning users were done to examine the developed methodology. The partial least square (PLS) method was used to process the data. This study employed the quantitative method. Website content, assurance, empathy, responsiveness, tangibles, reliability, and learning content are variables in this approach. This study provided knowledge on identifying and analyzing the quality of e-learning services using the service quality (SERVQUAL) method by calculating the score gap between the perceived service quality assessment (performance) and the expected service quality using website content, assurance, empathy research variables, responsiveness, tangibles, reliability, learning content, e-learning quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intention. This study also evaluates what improvements can be made to improve the quality of e-learning services.

Abstract

Abstrak: Di era digital saat ini, pengenalan teknologi sangat penting untuk anak-anak. Pengetahuan mengenai teknologi nantinya berguna bagi mereka di masa depan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Secara Loyalitas (PASCAL) ini adalah upaya pengenalan teknologi bagi anak didik kepada mitra yaitu Sekolah Rakyat Pancoran di wilayah Pancoran Jakarta dengan fokus pengenalan dan pembelajaran teknologi komputer dan aplikasinya. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu menyiapkan siswa dan siswi untuk meningkatkan potensi serta mempersiapkan merekaagar siap menghadapi persaingan di era digital. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran, pemaparan materi dan praktik yang dikemas dalam bentuk permainan. Pembelajaran yang diberikan berupa pengenalan penggunaan komputer, seperti cara menyalakan komputer, mematikan komputer, melakukan browsing dan menggunakan Office 365. Hasil tanya jawab, latihan dan kuis dengan peserta setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dari 30 peserta yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan didapatkan informasi bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman terkait pemanfaatan Teknologi informasi sebesar 60% dari yang dulu nya hanya 25% menjadi 85%. Rencana tindak lanjut yaitu pendampingan berkelanjutan menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi.Abstract: In today's digital age, the introduction of technology is very important for children. Knowledge of technology will be helpful for them in the future. This Loyalty Community Service (PASCAL) activity aims to introduce technology for students to partners, namely Pancoran Public School in the Pancoran Jakarta area with a focus on introducing and learning computer technology and its applications. The purpose of the activity is to prepare students to increase their potential and prepare them to be ready to face competition in the digital era. Activities are carried out using learning methods, material exposure, and practice packaged as games. The learning provided is an introduction to the use of computers, such as how to turn on the computer, turn off the computer, browse, and use Office 365. The results of questions and answers, exercise, and quiz with participants after the implementation of training activities from 30 participants who participated in the activity obtained information that there was an increase in understanding related to the use of information technology by 60% from the previous 25% to 85%. The follow-up plan is continuous assistance according to technological developments.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kemajuan teknologi informasi merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, masih sangat sedikit pemahaman tentang bagaimana menggunakan teknologi informasi, terutama dalam hal membantu pengelolaan data. Sebuah forum pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dapat membantu memandu penggunaan TI diperlukan bagi masyarakat desa Rawapanjang, khususnya para pengurus desa dan organisasi pemuda. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan wadah bagi masyarakat desa Rawapanjang, khususnya para pemimpin desa dan kelompok pemuda, untuk belajar mengenai penggunaan TI, termasuk bagaimana menggunakan rumus fungsi agregat perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel untuk membantu pengelolaan data. Sekitar 14 orang, termasuk perwakilan dari organisasi pemuda dan pejabat setempat, berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan yang melibatkan pemaparan materi dan diskusi. Temuan survei menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 50% dalam hal pemahaman penggunaan fungsi agregat Microsoft Excel untuk pengelolaan data, setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan. Strategi tindak lanjut yaitu dukungan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan bahwa pemahaman mereka terus berkembang.Abstract: Advances in information technology are an integral part of everyday life. However, there is still very little understanding of how to use information technology, especially in terms of assisting data management. A training and mentoring forum that can help guide the use of IT is needed for the Rawapanjang village community, especially village administrators and youth organizations. The purpose of this service is to provide a forum for the Rawapanjang village community, particularly village leaders and youth groups, to learn about the use of IT, including how to use the aggregate function formula of Microsoft Excel software to assist with data management. Around 14 people, including representatives from youth organizations and local officials, participated in the training which involved presentation of materials and discussion. Survey findings showed a 50% increase in understanding of the use of Microsoft Excel aggregate functions for data management, following the training activities. The follow-up strategy is ongoing support to ensure that their understanding continues to grow.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi era industi 4.0, lulusan perguruan tinggi dalam rumpun ilmu Informatika dan Komputer dituntut untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan teknologi industri saat ini. Keterhubungan dan keselarasan (link and match) antara dunia pendidikan dan industri menjadi kunci dalam optimalisasi penyerapan tenaga kerja terampil. Tanpa adanya link and match, lulusan bisa menganggur. Industri pun juga berpotensi kehilangan peluang dalam penyiapan tenaga kerja. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, program studi S1 Sistem Informasi Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto, SUHU dan T-Lab menyelenggarakan Webinar Series “Link & Match Teknologi Informasi antara Dunia Akademik dan Kebutuhan Industri” dengan topik Digital Business Roadmap: Menggali ide kreatif bisnis digital. Kegiatan webinar ini dilakukan dengan metode presentasi atau ceramah dan metode pendampingan serta membagikan pengetahuan baru kepada peserta tentang Digital Business Transformation dan bagaimana menggali ide kreatif bisnis digital. Hasilnya peserta mampu memahami transformasi bisnis digital kemudian menggali ide kreatif bisnis digital untuk dapat dikembangkan dalam suatu proposal bisnis. Kemudian peserta juga didorong dan dimotivasi untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi ide bisnis digital.

Abstract

Information technology development brings a very broad impact on human life. With this Model View Controller (MVC) concept, information system development could be developed in accordance needs of the user’s information system development and be able to adapt the development in the organization. Needs of fast and precise and adaptive information system information is needed in this modern era when everything needs to be fast. Faculty of computer science (FIK) Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ) as one work unit under the government agency, has State-owned inventories to support all activities to carry out the Tri Dharma or the higher education pillars, especially in the field of education. The state-owned inventories or devices are available in FIK such as monitors, printers, LCD, mouse, etc. For continuity of this educational process, the state-owned inventories must be maintained. Therefore, in this research, the researchers will develop an information system to document the state-owned inventory records for helping the management of the state-owned inventories in the faculty of computer science at UPN Veteran Jakarta. The information system was built using the waterfall method and using the PHP programming language and MySQL database running on a server. This information system provides features to manage users, manage components, access system logs, access system settings, manage devices, manage the location, and access reports. The system that has been developed has also passed the eligibility assessment for all aspects of both visual communication aspects, software engineering aspects, and usability aspects.

Abstract

An entirely updated e-commerce platform referred to as Social Commerce was developed in response to the rise in social media use. Social commerce integrates interactions between buyers and sellers made possible by social media platforms and Web 2.0 technology. It is frequently seen as a subfield of e-commerce. Social commerce has been successfully introduced in developing countries. Many businesses around the world are small and medium enterprises (SMEs). For instance, SMEs in Indonesia can contribute up to 60.34% of the country's GDP and have a substantial labor pool. Using social commerce as an e-commerce platform can significantly improve the operational efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, little empirical research has specifically examined how SMEs embrace social commerce. Given the high level of concern, further research is required. Therefore, the current study experimentally examined how local SMEs in rural Indonesia introduced social commerce. The study was modeled using the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use (UTAUT) 2 model and several previous studies. SmartPLS 4 software was used to model and evaluate data using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings of the 114 samples showed that relative advantage, social support, facilitation conditions, and the government's support of social commerce influenced behavioral intention to use social commerce. Behavioral intention to use social commerce influences the actual use of social commerce. The findings of this study can help local governments and policymakers develop social trade promotion regulations to help potential SMEs and entrepreneurs gain long-term business support.

Abstract

The amount of unprocessed data available every day is growing. This massive amount of data needs to be effectively assessed to give results that are extremely useful. In the present day, it is crucial for inventory management and demand forecasting to collect sales data for commodities or things, together with all their numerous dependent or independent parts. In a Big Mart Company, the use of sales forecasting is to estimate numerous goods that are readily available and supplied at multiple retailers in different towns. As the number of products and outlets increased drastically, it became increasingly difficult to forecast them manually. As a result, it is necessary to see to what extent the relationship between several variables, including price, popularity, time of day, outlet type, outlet location, etc., affects the appeal of a product. In this research, a data cleaning process was carried out, and data visualization using scatter plots, as well as finding Pearson correlations. The raw processing the data with study of a case big mart sales data is taken from the Kaggle website [https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/sandeepgauti/bigmart-sales]. The Pearson correlation test determines a lack of connection between the two Item_Weight and Item_Outlet_Sales variables. There is a strong but negative correlation where if Item_Visibility decreases, Item_Outlet_Sales also decreases. Positive relationships exist between the two Item_MRP and Item_Outlet_Sales variables. In addition to the correlation test, descriptive statistical analysis is also performed here. With this simple data processing, the raw data will be better organized and easier to analyze, read, and use.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi menjadi penting di era digital. Kantor desa tidak lagi melalukan pelayanan secara manual dengan mencatatkan dan mengolah data menggunakan kertas dan pena. Saat ini, para pegawai di kantor desa juga dituntut dapat memanfaatkan berbagai perangkat digital seperti perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel. Oleh karena itu, tim dari dosen Fakultas Ilmu Komputer UPN Veteran Jakarta berupaya melaksanakan pengenalan pemanfaatan database pada Microsoft Excel sebagai upaya realisasi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu membantu memberi pengenalan hard skill terkait pemanfaatan database pada Microsoft Excel untuk mencatat dan mengolah data. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi pemaparan materi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di satu mitra yaitu Kantor Desa Rawapanjang dengan melibatkan peserta sebanyak 11 perangkat desa. Pada pre-test pemateri menanyakan fungsi dari beberapa menu yang terdapat pada Microsoft Excel. Pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan pemberian post-test untuk menguji pemahaman peserta melalui tanya jawab secara lisan 5 soal terkait materi yang disampaikan. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian, diketahui 90% peserta dapat menjawab 5 soal post-test dengan tepat. Sebagai evaluasi dan upaya berkelanjutan akan dilaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan implementasi dari konsep pengenalan yang telah dipelajari melalui praktik.Abstract: The use of information technology is important in the digital era. Village offices no longer carry out services manually by recording and processing data using paper and pen. Currently, employees at village offices are also required to be able to utilize various digital tools such as Microsoft Excel software. Therefore, a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science, UPN Veteran Jakarta, is trying to introduce the use of databases in Microsoft Excel as an effort to realize community service activities. The aim of this activity is to help provide an introduction to hard skills related to using databases in Microsoft Excel to record and process data. Activities are carried out through the socialization method of presenting material. This service activity was carried out at one partner, namely the Rawapanjang Village Office, involving 11 village officials as participants. In the pre-test the speaker asked about the functions of several menus in Microsoft Excel. At the end of the activity, a post-test was given to test participants' understanding through verbal question and answer questions regarding the material presented. Based on the results of the service, it is known that 90% of participants were able to answer the 5 post-test questions correctly. As an evaluation and ongoing effort, training and assistance will be carried out in the implementation of introductory concepts that have been learned through practice.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Praktis Pemanfaatan Media Sosial (Facebook) untuk Memasarkan Hasil Budidaya Ikan pada Kelompok Pembudidaya Pintu Air, Kampung Jampang bertujuan untuk 1) melaksanakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan praktis pemanfaatan media sosial (facebook) untuk memasarkan hasil budidaya ikan; 2) meningkatkan kemampuan memasarkan hasil budidaya ikan dengan menggunakan media sosial (facebook); dan 3) memperluas jaringan pemasaran hasil budidaya ikan. Selain tujuan tersebut di atas, kegiatan ini juga bermanfaat bagi para pembudidaya dalam mengembangkan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan pembudidaya memanfaatkan media sosial (faceboook) sebagai sarana memasarkan hasil budidaya ikan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, demontrasi, dan pelatihan praktis (tutorial) sehingga memudahkan pembudidaya dalam memahami dan mampu mengoptimalkan media sosial facebook sebagai sarana memasarkan hasil budidayanya. Target capaian kegiatan ini adalah artikel ilmiah yang diseminarkan pada Seminar Nasional Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Ilmu Komputer (SENABDIKOM) tahun 2023.

Abstract

Given the complicated pressures brought on by the fast pace of urbanization, innovative and long-lasting solutions to the issues arising from urban expansion are needed. To ensure a greater standard of life for their citizens and make sustainable growth one of their long-term goals, cities will need to make more inventive, persistent, and successful changes to their infrastructure. Nonetheless, smart cities require complex solutions to problems involving ICT, economics, government, social issues, the environment, and transportation. The sustainability of smart cities is now a topic that academics, environmental policymakers, and governmental organizations are more interested in. Depok's smart city must be evaluated to determine its capacity to fulfill the desired vision to help implement the Movement Towards 100 Smart Cities. This study offers an evaluation approach for the Depok smart city. Three indices were used to construct an integrated evaluation approach: the IMD Smart City Index 2023, The Cities of the Future Index, and the Global Power City Index. None of the indexes' results include all six of the Depok Smart City's necessary dimensions. Thus, the advice was to merge the three indices into an integrated evaluation approach for evaluating the six primary dimensions of the Depok Smart City. The results of this study also offer a sample measurement statement according to Depok Smart City. Furthermore, follow-up actions that the government or stakeholders can take to improve Depok's smart city performance include implementing the integrated matrix indicators and evaluating their validity and relevance in the real world.
