Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe tutor sebaya dan tipe jigsaw pada kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Jeneponto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Jeneponto yang berjumlah 158 peserta didik terdiri atas kelas XI1 sampai dengan kelas XI4. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI1 sebagai kelas eksperimen1 sedangkan XI2 sebagai kelas eksperimen2. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar matematika berupa pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tutor sebaya dengan tipe jigsaw dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih efektif dalam meningkatan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik pada kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Jeneponto dibandingkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tutor sebaya.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of motivation on the learning outcomes of linear equation and matrix materials by using Matlab software. This study was an ex-post facto quantitative research. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The descriptive test results showed that the average student learning motivation score was 61.46 which means that the learning motivation score was in the moderate category in general, while the mean value for the linear equation and matrix materials of the students learning outcomes was 69.29 which meant that the mathematics learning outcomes were in the medium category, while the inferential test results by using the results of regression test analysis proved that the regression equation obtained was . From the results of the significant test, it was obtained the significant value as many as , the result from the significant value , so that H0 was accepted. It could be inferred that there was significant effect on the learning motivation by using Matlab software toward the students’ learning outcomes of linear equations and matrix materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the procedure for developing measuring instruments to facilitate the ability to understand concepts on the subject of SPLTV for class X students of SMAN 6 Wajo and to find out how the quality of measuring instruments is to measure the conceptual understanding ability of the SPLTV class X students of SMAN 6 Wajo. The type of research used is research and development based on Tessmer's formative research model which consists of 4 stages, namely: (1) preliminary stage, (2) self-evaluation stage¸ (3) prototyping stage (expert review, 0ne-to -one, and small group) and (4) the field test stage. The research instruments used were validation sheets, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique for the validation sheet used the Aiken's V validity index, while the questionnaire and test used student response analysis and item quality analysis. The results showed that (1) the process of developing a measuring instrument for the ability to understand concepts through 4 stages, namely (a) the preliminary stage, (b) the self-evaluation stage, (c) the prototyping stage, and (d) the field test stage, (2) From the test results obtained from the one-to-one measuring instrument that has been developed at the validation test stage by the expert, it meets the valid criteria with a validity coefficient value of 0.8. The results of the analysis of the responses of students by 77% met the criteria that students responded positively to the readability of the questions. The results of the analysis of the difficulty level of the questions obtained an average total score of 0.53, including in the medium category, while the results of the analysis of distinguishing power obtained an average score of 0.24, including in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Student difficulties in solving mathematical literacy problems significantly affect elementary school students, which is why this research aims to analyze the difficulties faced by fourth-grade students in solving mathematical literacy problems related to algebra and to formulate strategies to address these difficulties based on Polya's Steps. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with four fourth-grade students from Class IV-A, selected from 21 students at SD Negeri Bontoramba during the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, as the research subjects. Data collection techniques include administering tests and conducting interviews. The researcher uses data reduction, data representation, and conclusion-drawing models for data analysis. The study results indicate that students face difficulties in solving mathematical literacy problems related to algebra, especially in understanding the problem, planning, executing the plan, and reviewing the solution according to Polya's Steps. Students often struggle with understanding the problem, creating models, following procedures, and reviewing results. Keywords: Mathematical Literacy, Student Difficulties, Polya's Theory

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis adalah proses penyampaian ide dan gagasan matematika menggunakan simbol matematika, gambar, diagram, kosakata dalam bentuk tulisan maupun lisan. Self confidence adalah rasa sikap percaya atas keyakinan kemampuan dirinya yang dimunculkan dalam suatu tindakan Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komunikasi matematis ditinjau dari self confidence peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Sidrap dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas VIII A tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Dalam penelitian kualitatif ini digunakan wawancara, tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, angket kepercayaan diri, dan triangulasi teknik untuk memvalidasi data.Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa peserta didik yang mempunyai kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi dengan tingkat self confidence tinggi dapat mencapai indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan maksimal yaitu memenuhi indikator Written Text, Mathematical Expression, Drawing. Peserta didik yang mempunyai kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang dengan tingkat self confidence tinggi dapat mencapai indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang baik yaitu memenuhi 2 indikator Written Text dan Drawing. Peserta didik yang mempunyai kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi dengan tingkat self confidence sedang dapat memenuhi semua indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis yaitu Written Text, Mathematical Expression, Drawing. Peserta didik yang mempunyai tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang dengan tingat self confidence sedang yaitu memenuhi 2 indikator yaitu Written Text dan Drawing. Peserta didik yang mempunyai kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah dengan tingkat self confidence sedang dapat memenuhi 1 indikator yaitu Written Text. Peserta didik yang mempunyai kemampun komunikasi rendah dengan self confidence rendah dapat memenuhi 1 indikator yaitu Written Text.
