Abstract

The Development of Indonesian Language Teaching Materials Based on Know-ledge Integration in Islamic Higher Education. This study aims at describing: (1) the reality and the needs for materials oriented towards knowledge integration, (2) the prototype and evaluation of the developed teaching materials. This is a Research and Development undertaken in UIN Alauddin Makassar involving 138 students, five lecturers, and two expert validators. The results show the currently used materials is not based on knowledge integration. Integration have been undertaken in the developed materials by including related verses or hadith, raising Islamic themes as reading materials and examples. The developed materials were evaluated by expert validators both content and design with the average score of 3.91 and 3.93 respectively and categorized as very good. The gain index for small and large groups is 0.71 and 0.72 respectively and categorized as high.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1)describe the reality of organizational culture; 2)describe the reality of organizational communication; and 3)examine the correlation between organizational culture and organizational communication at Madrasah Tsanawiyah(Islamic Middle School) 1 Bone. This research uses quantitative methodology with correlational design to explain the research questions. The instrument used to measure the variabels of this study was a questionnaire then analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferntial statistics use analiysis of the product moment with SPSS version 21 software. The result of the study show in descriptive of organizational culture is in the very conducive category of 86,38% and organizational communication is in the good category of 83,05%. In addition, the analysis of inferential with correlation product moment analysis suggest that there is a positive and significant correlation between organizational culture and work climate, signified by correlation coefficient of 0,603%, which is at strong-level of correlation.

Abstract

The lecturer is one of the needs in the educational process. In carrying out the professionalism, they should prepare appropriate model of teaching to support learner’s achievement. This study sought to explore how the lecturer in English Education Department prepare and implement their model of teaching and what students’ perception. It utilized a phenomenological design inquiry with a qualitative approach. Participants in this research were lecturers and students. They were taken purposively. The data were collected through an observations sheet, interview guide, focus group discussion, and document study. The observation, interview, and document study were done to the lecturers, and the focus group discussion was done to the students. As a result, three lecturers of the English Education Department used a different model of teaching. The first lecturer used the cooperative learning model, the second lecturer used the multi skill strategy, and the third lecturer used the blended learning model. Besides, students had various perception of each model of teaching was implemented by the lecturer. They shared the positive and negative perception.

Abstract

This article discusses about the influence of teacher management and learning resource on student learning outcomes at State Senior High Schools in West Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency. This study uses a type of field research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study found 51 teachers and 436 students. The sample was determined randomly as many as 65 students and 51 teachers who were taken all fairly small. The data collection method used was a questionnaire and the results were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis with the help of SPSS. The results of the study prove that: 1) educator management has an effect on student learning outcomes with the regression equation Y= 55,437+0,353X; 2) learning resources management has an effect on student learning outcomes with the regression equation Y= 46,209+0,617X; and 3) teacher management and learning resources have a simultaneous effect on student learning outcomes and the level of influence is 25.1%. Therefore, the learning outcomes of students at State Senior High Schools in West Sinjai District can be determined by the good or bad of the teacher management and learning resources carried out.

Abstract

The purposes of the study were to analyze the availability of supporting infrastructure and facilities in integrating ICT, describe the utilization model of information and communication technology used in the distance learning process, and reveal the interaction model implemented in distance learning classes by using ICT. This study used qualitative research by involving distant classes in cooperation between post graduate program of UINAM, STAIN Palopo, and UMPAR. The methods in collecting data consisted of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis included data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion and verification. The results showed that the integration model of information and communication technologies used in distance learning under the cooperation class between post graduate program at the UINAM, STAIN Palopo, and UMPAR covered (1) the identification of appropriate sources that are in the category of fairly complete, (2) the use of ICT in distance learning can be categorized into two parts; providing materials and learning activities, and (3) the forms of interaction are faculty-student interaction, student-student interaction, and faculty-student and learning resources interaction.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan ketercapaian target evaluasi kinerja guru PAI di SMA Negeri Kota Palu. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan positivistik. Sumber data primer penelitian ini yaitu pengawas, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru PAI, dan sumber data sekunder yang menyangkut dokumen penunjang penelitian tentang evaluasi kinerja guru PAI. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan panduan observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan check list dokumentasi. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Adapun teknik pengolahan dan analisis datanya melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, ketercapaian target evaluasi kinerja guru PAI pada aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran masuk dalam kategori baik. Dengan pencapaian hasil kinerja guru PAI dalam menyusun RPP rata-rata skor 18,32 masuk dalam kategori baik. Kemampuan guru PAI dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dapat dikatakan sudah baik, dengan perolehan rata-rata skor 19,62. Kemampuan guru PAI dalam evaluasi pembelajaran dapat dikatakan sudah baik, dengan perolehan rata-rata skor kinerja guru sebesar 18,03. Hasil perolehan skor tersebut sejalan dengan studi dokumentasi yang peneliti lakukan terhadap guru Pendidikan Agama Islam pada SMA Negeri di Kota Palu.

Abstract

Sambas Malay community is included in an area with a tradition of spreading da'wah, one of which is the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour). The spread of da'wah through this tradition is a contact of customs and culture and is not in line with Islamic teachings. Hence, the tradition of fresh flour is one part of the cultural da'wah in the Sambas Malay community. This study aims to examine the value of da'wah contained in the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour) in the life of the Sambas Malay community. This research is descriptive field research using qualitative analysis. Data collection was done through observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study found that the form of cultural da'wah contained in the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour) in the Sambas Malay community consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and post-implementation. There are several values contained in this tradition of fresh flour such as having an open attitude, having high Islamic values, ethical and moral values, togetherness values, shared ideals, deliberation values, and socio-cultural values and religiosity values. As well as the relationship between the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour) with aqiqah, which is in contact with Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam, this becomes a style of tradition that exists in the life of the Sambas Malay community, which is seen in the tradition of tepung tawar (fresh flour)

Abstract

Media pembelajaran sebagai salah satu hal yang paling menunjang dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media pelajaran yang telah dikembangkan berbasis web dan internet. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran web dan internet dalam proses pembelajaran akan memperluas jangkauan peserta didik dalam pelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah library research. Dalam kajian ini ditemukan bahwa peserta didik tidak dibatasi lagi oleh ruang gerak, serta tidak terikat oleh waktu ketika hendak mengakses pembelajaran melalui web dan internet. Namun, disamping trasformasi pembelajaran berbasis web dan internet memiliki banyak kelebihan, juga memiliki kekurangan. Kekurangan yang paling mendasar adalah pengaksesan mesti didukung oleh jaringan yang kuat dan memadai.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) Analyze the influence of learning styles on the learning outcomes of PAI students in the class of 2022 at the tarbiyah and teacher training faculty at UIN Alauddin Makassar, 2) Analyze the influence of critical thinking on the learning outcomes of PAI students in the class of 2022 at the tarbiyah and teacher t[]aining faculty at UIN Alauddin Makassar, 3) Analyze the influence of learning styles and critical thinking on the learning outcomes of PAI students in the class of 2022, tarbiyah and teacher training faculty at UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research method uses quantitative, this type of research is ex post facto and uses a pedagogical approach. The sample in this research was PAI students class of 2022 who were obtained using a sampling technique, namely the saturated sampling technique. The number of samples in the 2022 PAI class is 56 students. To collect data using learning style questionnaire instruments and critical thinking questionnaires. Research data was analyzed using descriptive data analysis and multiple linear regression analysis or using the t test and f test. The results of descriptive analysis on the visual learning style variable obtained an average value of 51.61, which means the medium category and critical thinking obtained an average value of 42.21, which means the medium category while learning outcomes obtained an average value of 3.78, which means the medium category. Based on the results of data analysis, the coefficient table shows that visual learning style influences learning outcomes with a sig of 0.001. Critical thinking influences learning outcomes with a sig value of 0.001. In the multiple regression test, the ANOVA results found that visual learning style and critical thinking both had an influence on learning outcomes with a value below 0.005, namely 0.001. The implication of this research is that existing stakeholders can improve students' critical thinking and pay attention to dominant learning styles so that they can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui Implementasi sistem informasi manajemen bagi madrasah menyangkut pelaksanaan dan pemanfaatan untuk kepentingan dalam bentuk pengelolaan yang terpadu di layanan aplikasi Sistem Informasi Pendidik Dan Tenaga Kependidikan (SIMPATIKA). Pesantren Ash-Shalihin telah menerapkan sistem informasi manajemen untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang menginginkan layanan pendidikan berkualitas. Hal itu perlu adanya pengembangan berkelanjutan pada sistem informasi manajemen. Tujuan adanya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sistem informasi manajemen yang diterapkan di Pesantren Ash-Shalihin dengan langkah pengumpulan data, pengolahan data dan penginputan data serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat proses penerapan sistem informasi manjemen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Sumber data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dengan menjadikan staf tata usaha dan guru sebagai responden dan kepala madrasah sebagai informan dalam memperoleh data. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah redukasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahap pendahuluan, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap akhir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem informasi manajemen di Pesantren Ash-Shalihin sudah dikembangkan melalui beberapa sistem informasi manajemen yaitu Sistem Informasi Pendidik Dan Tenaga Kependidikan (SIMPATIKA), Sistem informasi manajemen yang dilakukan sesuai prosedur yang ditetapkan. Faktor pendukung proses sistem informasi manajemen di Pesantren Ash-Shalihin yaitu, sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang pengelolaan sistem informasi manajemen. Faktor penghambat proses sistem informasi manajemen yaitu, guru kesulitan menerapkan sistem informasi manajemen, error pada sistem aplikasi dan penambahan unit data dari Kementerian Agama pusat.
