Abstract

Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) is an Islamic Microfinance Institution that has two main functions, namely as collectors, distributors, utilization of zakat funds, infaq, alms, waqf and can function as productive economic empowerment that provides financial services using sharia principles. . Its presence in the community has a significant impact on the Indonesian economy, especially in the field of microeconomics. This research was made using a qualitative descriptive method to analyze, summarize, and describe its role in the development of Islamic economics. Through SWOT analysis and interviews with respondents on mudarabah financing, it is shown that BMT has an important role in increasing micro-enterprises and improving economic development in Indonesia, although it still has several weaknesses. This institution encourages the economic growth of the community through financing to micro-enterprises that need funds for their business capital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy to overcome the transfer of PNS/ASN activities in the capital city of the new country. Qualitative methods are applied through literature review, documentation, and interviews. A total of 18 people consisting of practitioners, government, academics, communities, and the media (pentahelix model) were involved in information retrieval. The results showed that rewards and punishment can encourage someone to work as needed. Issues of incentives, facilities and infrastructure, development acceleration, employee selection, and application of regulations must be a concern of the government so that goals are achieved. Implementation of Law No. 43/1999 and Law no. 5/2014 can discipline disobedient employees through sanctions. A productive, competitive, and innovative young age can be prioritized to realize process and service optimization. The mental readiness of the next generation will be higher than that of the older generation when viewed psychologically.

Abstract

Rawa Pening Lake is a natural lake that offers a beautiful tourist destination with various kinds of food and souvenirs of Rawa Pening Lake in which these products become the superior products of the community and Local Government of Semarang Regency. Rawa Pening Lake does not only present natural beauty scenery but also provides various aquatic animals that bring economic welfare. By managing the potencies of natural resources while preserving ecosystem of the environment and the lake as well; then the community may obtain their welfare economically, socially, and culturally. This research will describe efforts of the community of Rawa Pening Lake in improving their economic and in developing tourism area of Rawa Pening Lake as the commodity for their welfare. This research uses qualitative method by using data collection technique through in-depth interview and involved observation. The community of Rawa Pening Lake becomes the main subject in the data collection. The research result shows that the dynamics of Rawa Pening Lake community in social, economic, and cultural life have important roles in realizing the improvement of economic and tourism in Rawa Pening Lake area. Community empowerment in entrepreneurship and tourism has increased the numbers of tourists who visit Rawa Pening Lake. Local culture and wisdom of the local community have supported tourism and entrepreneurship which in turns improve community welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of economic value to the community and restore the natural function of the lake and maintain biodiversity. The qualitative description method is applied through journal reviews, documentation and field observations. The results of the study indicate that the joint commitment of all stakeholders and the community to be able to benefit optimally through scientific, social, political, ecological and economic approaches is necessary. Utilization of large eceng gondok helps reduce growth and bring benefits that can be used to meet maintenance needs. An environmentally sound development policy as a manifestation of sustainable tourism can be pursued through the implementation of a strategic plan, the Lake Ecosystem Rescue Movement, primary and tertiary activities.

Abstract

Folklore that wecan find in Nusantara (Indonesian archipelago) has its uses as an educational tool to remind us of an event and the name of a place and to entrust a message of prohibition and a moral message, a social protest, a hope, and an environmental protection. Naga Baru Klinting is a folklore developed in Ambarawa, Central Java. Rawa Pening is an area where the folklore is told. This oral folklore is one proof of the nobleness and high achievements of cultural science that were accepted by the ancient society. The value management system is delivered in the form of a story based on environmental and social conditions regarding the Naga Baru Klinting folklore. The concept of life that still upholds the relationship between ManNature-God makes life harmonious. Unfortunately, however, Rawa Pening is currently facing a situation resulted from the water hyacinth plants and waste that pollute the water. Naga Baru Klinting folklore has a moral message of controlling oneself to ensure personal safety in order to prevent an individual from doing improper actions. With a management system through folklore, it is expected to restore public awareness to conserve and care for natural resources and the environment as a supporting life force which brings goodness and prosperity to the local people and entire nation.

Abstract

Rawa Pening is one of the villages in Semarang Regency, Central Java. It is known as an area with a lot of problems, especially those that are related to environmental damage and cleanliness. Obstacles that are faced by the Rawa Pening community are the lack of motivation and awareness about the importance of environmental cleanliness, mainly in terms of disposing trash around the Lake of Rawa Pening and water hyacinth weeds problem in the lake. The aims of this study are 1) Building a village empowerment program in Rawa Pening village to improve environmental sustainability and cleanliness, 2) Explaining the strategies, tips, and mechanisms performed by the community in pursuing environmental sustainability and cleanliness. This study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and FGDs as well as involved observations. The solution that can be carried out to overcome the problem of environmental damage is by conducting socialization of Rawa Pening village movement through local culture and community empowerment programs. The result of the community empowerment program is that Rawa Pening village can improve cleanliness and environmental sustainability through cultural awareness. The Rawa Pening village movement has improved environmental sustainability and cleanliness. With the awareness through culture and local wisdom, the Rawa Pening community is committed to make sustainable efforts from the clean and healthy Rawa Pening movement program.

Abstract

Intense industry competition, as well as rapid changes and efforts to retain customers, are competitive goals and scarce resources for the ice cream industry. Price, brand image, and product quality implementation increases customer loyalty and is taken into account in the subsequent purchasing process. The goal of this study was to look at how price, brand image, and product quality affect customer loyalty and repurchase intent. A sample of 130 people who buy Walls brand ice cream products were surveyed. SEM (Structural Aquation Model) is the data analysis method used in this study to test the hypothesis. The results of this study conclude that price, brand image, and product quality have a positive effect on customer loyalty, and customer loyalty also has a positive effect on repurchase intentions. If the loyalty of the majority of customers has the strongest impact on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Agriculture is a strategic sector in the Indonesian economy where palm oil is the main national export. The research aims to examine the influence of sales growth, net profit margin, earnings per share, return on equity, debt to equity ratio and firm size to stock price with the BI rate as the moderating variable of earnings per share and debt to equity ratio in influences stock price in palm oil companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research uses secondary data obtained from financial reports, annual reports, company reports, research journals, and other literature data. The method used for sample selection is purposive sampling. The sample used was 10 palm oil companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2020. The analysis method uses EViews 11 and the multiple linear regressions used in this study with the random effect model are chosen. Partially the results of this study indicate that EPS and DER have positive and significant effects on stock prices. Sales growth, NPM, and firm size have positive but not significant effect on stock price, and meanwhile, ROE partially has negative and not significant effect on stock price. Simultaneously sales growth, NPM, EPS, ROE, DER and firm size have significant influence on stock price. The variable BI rate is not able to moderate the influence of earnings per share and debt to equity ratio on stock price in palm oil companies 2013-2020.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the effect of the internal and external factors toward margin murabahah at syariah banks for period 2011-2016. The type of data used in this research is secondary data of Islamic Banks publish in quarterly financial statements by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Through purposive sampling, this research got 54 observations from three Islamic banks in five years which fulfill the criteria. This research used quantative approach, using multiple regression and has passed the classical assumption test. Based on the result, it is concluded that there are 4 independent variables which areThird Party Funds, Operational Efficiency Ratio, Non-Performing Financing, and Inflation which having significant effects toward margin murabahah. Simultaneously, the variation of four independent variables can explain 63.81% effects to dependent variable. The remaining of 36.19% is explained by other factors outside this research.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and gives the empirical proven of significant influences in partial and simultaneously of four independent variables towards the stock price. In addition, this research chooses the population in the banking industry listed on the LQ45 index during the period of 2011-2014. Through purposive sampling and pooling data, this research has got 96 observations from six companies in four years with a quarterly basis that fulfills the criteria. Based on the result, there is debt to equity ratio, earnings-per-share, and return on equity which having significant influences towards the stock price. On the other hand, systematic risk has no significant influence on the stock price. Simultaneously, those four independent variables provide 69.7% influences to the dependent variable. The rest, 30.3%, is influenced by other factors outside this research. Moreover, earnings-per-share is chosen as the most significant factor that influences stock price.
