Abstract

In understanding the basics of technical and fundamental analysis as a starting point before making trading decisions, through a simple and easy-to-understand approach, novice clients are introduced to technical analysis by looking at candlestick charts, recognizing the direction of market trends, and using technical indicators to assess the strength of price movements. Fundamental analysis, on the other hand, is explained as a way to understand the global economic situation, world political conditions, and international policies that affect the market, although it is not always the main basis for direct transactions. The participatory qualitative method used in the service with an educational approach based on interactive discussions and practical simulations. The main target audience was novice clients who were new to trading. Education is delivered in a gradual and focused manner, with the application of the STP (Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning) concept to help participants design trading strategies that suit the character and needs of novice clients. With this method, it is expected that novice clients can make trading decisions more wisely, measurably, and not only based on speculation.

Abstract

The rise of social media, particularly TikTok, has changed consumer’s perceptions of how they discover, evaluate, and decide to purchase personal care products. This phenomenon has prompted several soap brands, including Alamic soap, to build a strong brand image and maintain product quality to foster sustainable consumer loyalty. This community service project aims to directly engage with Alamic business owners in implementing brand image and product quality strategies to enhance consumer loyalty toward Alamic soap through the TikTok social media platform. The approach used in this community service project involves direct engagement (active participation) by the participants as part of the marketing team in creating digital marketing content and conducting live shopping sessions. These activities serve as a means of disseminating science and technology to Alamic business owners to help them convey their brand image and product quality to consumers via the TikTok platform. This project demonstrates that such direct engagement can enhance consumer loyalty by strengthening brand image and product quality.

Abstract

Following the rebranding of Ace Hardware Indonesia to AZKO, the company faced challenges in maintaining sales performance amid increasingly competitive competition in the home appliance retail industry. This study was conducted to determine how Social Media Marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) influence consumer purchasing decisions on AZKO products in Surabaya. This study is quantitative in nature with a non-probability sampling method using purposive sampling techniques to determine the sample from the population of consumers who know and have purchased AZKO products in Surabaya. A total of 110 respondents were involved in data collection through an online questionnaire. The data obtained was then processed and analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach through SmartPLS software. Based on the analysis results, both hypotheses in this study were accepted, indicating that Social Media Marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) have a positive and significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. The conclusion of this study shows that purchasing decisions will increase along with the increasing effectiveness of marketing strategies through social media and e-WOM management implemented by AZKO, so that these two variables are important to maintain and improve.
