Abstract

Total Quality Management is a systematic management approach oriented by organization, costumer and market through combination of practical factfinding and problem solving to create significant improvements in quality, productivity and others. Two of Total Quality Management’s Principles are Empowerment and Organizational Commitment. This study aims to determine the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) through Empowerment and Organizational Commitment either simultaneously and partially to spirit work at PT. Adei Plantation & Industry, PMKS-Mandau Duri, Bengkalis District. Population in this study is all employees of factory that work in PT. Adei Plantation & Industry and sample are 52 employees. The research method is to use quantitative descriptive method and multiple linear regression with SPSS version 21.The study results simultaneously (Test F), indicate that all independent variables studied have a significant influence on total quality management spirit work. The influence level of each independent variable to dependent variable can be known by partial test, with R2 value 55,8%. Therefore, Empowerment variable (X1) has significant effect on spirit work (Y) and also Organizational Commitment (X2) and spirit work (Y).Keywords : empowerment, organizational commitment, spirit work

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of trust and cooperation on supply chain performance and competitive advantage on rendang processed IMIs in Payakumbuh City. The samples in this study include all rendang processed IKM in Payakumbuh City. The number of sample populations used is 41 respondents from IKM processed rendang. Primary data was collected with questionnaires as instruments to prove the results of the study, to test the hypothesis in this study is to use Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis with the help of its analysis tool using WarpPLS Software. The results of this study show that there is a positive influence of trust on supply chain performance indicated by β = 0.343 p-value = 0.007 (≤0.05), and the cooperation positively affects supply chain performance indicated by β = 0.261 p-value = 0.035 (≤ 0.05). Supply chain performance positively affects competitive advantage indicated by β = 0.596 p-value = <0.001 (≤0.05).Keywords: Trust, Cooperation, Supply chain performance, Competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the influence of Total Quality Management and Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance at PTVN V SeiPagar, Kampar Regency. The population in this study is the employees of PTVN V SeiPagar Kampar Regency, data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a sample of 103 people, using purposive sampling technique. The analysis in this study uses Multiple Linear Regression with the help of SPSS 21 program. The results showed that: 1) Total Quality Management (TQM) had a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V (PTPN V) KebunSeiPagar, Kampar Regency, Riau. 2) Transformational Leadership has a significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V (PTPN V) KebunSeiPagar, Kampar Regency, Riau. For further research, work environment variables and work motivation can be added to employee performance.Keywords: Total Quality Management, Transformational Leadership, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of the Application of Total Quality Management which consists of costumer focus, teamwork, the improvement of the system of continuous, education and training, the involvement and empowerment of employee on employee performance of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Panam. The sample used by 80 respondents of the populationt as many 101 employees. Sampling was do by using stratified random sampling. Primary date was collected by questionnaire as an instrument to prove the results of the research, to test the hypothesis in this study is using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Sciences). The results showed that the Total Quality Management which consists of the variable costumer focus, teamwork, the improvement of the system of continuous, education and training, the involvement and empowerment of employee influential positive and significant against the performance of employees PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Panam is simultaneous and partial. Variable most dominant influential on the performance of employees is teamwork.Keywords : Total Quality Management, performance of employees.

Abstract

This research is aimed to measure the employees’ working efficiency on the side of employees’ activities in a month. It is done by analyzing the first office layout and designing the alternative one for office of pekanbaru capital police. The analysis testing here is using descriptive and historical analysis. Furthermore, the first layout of the office has several weaknesses especially on the employees’ office room arrangement which is not well-arranged. This problem leads to the inefficiency and ineffectiveness of the office working system. Moreover, the distance between one room and another is also another problem. It also causes the employees not to work cooperatively and freely. This problem positively causes the room look not good and not interesting. After redesigning the room by having several alternative layouts, it can be concluded that one of the designs (the third design) has given a significant change of the look of the first office layout that leads to the efficiency and effectiveness of the employees’ activities which is decreasing to 9,545km in a month.Keywords : optimization, layout, efficiency, existing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the gap between performance and customer expectations for service quality, knowing the attributes that are priority to improve service quality, as well as efforts to improve service attributes at Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all customers who visited Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru. The sample selection was carried out using purposive sampling method, while the number of samples in this study amounted to 100 respondents. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Quality Management (X) on Product Innovation (Y) and Business Performance (Z) of Kerupuk Sagu Business at Kuantan Singingi The population of study was 137 owners of Kerupuk Sagu Business and the samples were 102 people, it’s based on Slovin formula. Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS version 3. was used as methods of data analysis. The results were: 1) Quality Management had a positive and significant effect on Product Innovation; 2) Quality Management had a positive and significant effect on Business Performance; 3) Product Innovation had a positive and significant effect on Business Performance; 4) Quality Management had a positive and significant effect on Business Performance throughwork Product Innovation.Keywords: Quality Management, Product Innovation, and Business Performance.

Abstract

Production is the center for implementing concrete activities for the procurement of goods and services in a business entity and company. The production process is the most important part of the company, because if it stops, the company will suffer losses and these losses are not wanted by every company This study aims to analyze the effect of supervision on production performance, the effect of long term relationship on production performance. The population in this study were PT. Semunai Sawit Perkasa in Pinggir District, Bengkalis Regency and a sample of 36 respondents. The data obtained will be analyzed. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression, which includes the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple regression test, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination test. The test results show that the indicators in this study are valid and reliable. Based on the analysis, it is found that supervision has a significant positive effect on production performance, long term relationship has a significant positive effect on production performanceKeywords: Supervision, Long Term Relationship, Production Performance

Abstract

The condition of Islam in the beginning of its entry in Kutai Kertanegara was still simple. After following developments today as developments in the field of science and technology, the process of spreading Islam has progressed. After Islam was accepted by the king and the people of Kutai in a peaceful manner. So the King of the Crown Prince or the Noble King of Islam ordered his people to abandon the teachings of their religion by replacing Islam. The development of Islamic religious teachings increased rapidly with the birth of several Islamic organizations which not only fought for the interests of a group of people but also maintained the existence of Islam, besides the strategic location of Kutai Kartanegara. The Central Kalimantan region is central, causing it to get migration from all parties which gives rise to races and acculturation of cultures which gives rise to a culture that has a variety of styles. In the 16th century, the migration of the Malay to the East was due to the pressure of political pressure which violently flared in western Indonesia with the fall of Malacca in 1511 AD. The great flow of Malay migration to the East began with capital to Makassar where they controlled spices. -rempah Maluku together with Javanese people. Aceh's expansion of Johor and other regions of the Malacca Peninsula at the beginning of the 17th century. The disruption of the Dutch over Malacca in 1941 AD in Western Indonesia added to the swift flow to the East. With the acceptance of Islam as the official religion of the kingdom by the king of the Crown, all of his people also abandoned the religion previously believed. As a broadcaster on Islam, Lord Tunggang Parangan began teaching about monotheism and the teachings of Islam as a whole. For his patience and tenacity to teach about Islamic teachings, religious teachers and scholars were born who could help continue the mission in developing Islam in Kutai, especially in East Kalimantan. Thus Islam in East Kalimantan can develop both through education, marriage, trade, as well as art and culture.

Abstract

Environmental problems that require serious handling are the problem of land and forest fires, especially on peatlands which cause losses, especially economic and environmental aspects. Peatlands are a natural resource that has the potential to be utilized for the welfare of the community. Utilization of peatlands is not only for agriculture, plantations and residential land, but can be used as peat ecotourism. The large number of peatlands that were initially not utilized, and most of them became unproductive idle lands, can be managed properly and are able to contribute samsirto improving the welfare of the surrounding communities through the company’s CSR program. This paper aims to analyze the management of the CSR program in the development of peat ecotourism in Bukit Batu DistrictPakning River.Researchers collected field data through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the company’s CSR program is directed at developing various community empowerment programs, aiming for the community to have the power, strength or ability in physical and material aspects, as well as economic aspects.Utilization of post-fire peatlands with community empowerment in the process of developing peatland ecotourism through the Peat Typical Tree Planting program on burned land, the development of the Environmental-Based School Curriculum program and the Peat Arboretum Development program. The management of the CSR program is carried out through the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The management of the CSR program is analyzed throughCommunity Based Tourism (CBT) Model which is a tourism development planning strategy.
