Abstract

This study was conducted at the Zainab Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA)Pekanbaru and the purpose of this study was to find out how teamwork influencesemployee job satisfaction, to find out how employee job satisfaction, to find outhow involvement and empowerment influence employees and to find out whichTotal Quality Management (TQM) variable is the most dominant in the jobsatisfaction of the Zainab Pekanbaru Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA)employees. The population is the Zainab Pekanbaru Mother and Child Hospital(RSIA) employees, totaling 250 people using the slovin formula which makes asample of 154 employees. This study was analyzed using multiple linearregression analysis. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there isa significant influence between teamwork on job satisfaction and betweencontinuous improvement on job satisfaction because the value of tcount is greaterthan ttable. Furthermore, the involvement and empowerment of employees affectjob satisfaction, because the value of tcount is greater than ttable. Simultaneouslythere is a significant influence between teamwork, continuous improvement,employee involvement and empowerment on job satisfaction at the Zainab Motherand Child Hospital (RSIA) Pekanbaru because the fcount value is greater than theftable. It is known that all independent variables, namely teamwork, continuousimprovement, the involvement of employees jointly contribute to employee jobsatisfaction at Zainab Pekanbaru Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA) of 40.90%.This means that teamwork, continuous improvement, involvement andempowerment of employees affect job satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product innovation on businessperformance with competitive advantage as mediation variable at boba drinkenterprise in Pekanbaru City. The population of study included all boba drinkenterprise in Pekanbaru City were 83 units and the samples were 69 units, it’sbased on Slovin formula. Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLSversion 3 was used as methods of data analysis. The results were: 1) Innovationproduct had positive and significant effect on competitive advantage; 2)Innovation product had positive and significant effect on business performance;3) Competitive advantage had positive and significant effect on businessperformance; 4) Innovation product had positive and significant effect onbusiness performance throughwork competitive advantage. Keyword: Innovation Product, Competitive Advantage, Business Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of quality management practices on businessperformance and business competitive advantage as a mediating variable in theboba beverage business in Pekanbaru City. The population in this study were bobabeverage businesses in Pekanbaru City, totaling 83. The sampling technique usedthe Slovin formula so that the number of research samples was 69. The hypothesistesting in this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. Theresults of the study show that 1) Total quality management practices has a positiveand significant effect on competitive advantage in the Boba Beverage Business inPekanbaru City. 2) Total quality management practices has a positive andsignificant effect on business performance at the Boba Beverage Business inPekanbaru City. 3) Competitive Advantage has a positive and significant effect onbusiness performance in the Boba Beverage Business in Pekanbaru City. 4)Competitive advantage mediates the relationship between total qualitymanagement practices and business performance in the Boba Beverage Business inPekanbaru City. Keywords : Total Quality Management Practice, Business Performance,Competitive Advantage.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the optimal quantityof soybean raw material purchases at Karya Mandiri factory, the frequency ofpurchasing raw materials, the amount of safety stock, determining the reorderpoint and the total cost of the soybean raw material inventory. using theEconomic Order Quantity method. The object of this research is the KaryaMandiri factory in Pekanbaru City. Sources of data obtained by interviewobservation and documentation. This type of research used by the author isdescriptive research using a quantitative approach. The results of the analysisshow that if the factory applies the Economic Order Quantity method in 2022 forthe optimal purchase of soybean raw materials, the difference in savings in thetotal cost of raw materials for soybean 2022 is IDR 354,281. Based on the resultsthat have been analyzed using the Economic Order Quantity method, the factoryshould use this method in determining optimal raw material purchases so that theKarya Mandiri factory can minimize the total inventory costs incurred for thecoming period. Keywords: Economic Order Quantity Method, Raw material inventory

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of management at Rotte BakeryPekanbaru with a Total Quality Management approach based on the DemingPrize. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative approachmethod. The population in this study were all 18 branches/outlets of Rotte BakeryPekanbaru. In this study, researchers used non-probability sampling with thetechnique taken, namely saturated sampling (census). The number of samples tobe studied is 18 branches/outlets of Rotte Bakery Pekanbaru. The data in thisstudy were analyzed with the Deming Prize. The results of this study indicate thatthe Analysis of Quality Management with a Total Quality Management ApproachBased on the Deming Prize at Rotte Bakery Pekanbaru consists of four indicators,namely from the Deming Prize, namely the State of the Company, WorkProcesses, Management Tools and Outputs Produced. In the company's statevariable which shows that the company has service quality as seen from the stateof the company with an average number of 4.32 in the interval 4.20 - 5.00 with avery good category. In the work process variable which shows that the companyhas service quality as seen from the state of the company with an average numberof 4.31 in the interval 4.20 - 5.00 with a very good category. management toolvariable which shows that the company has service quality as seen from themanagement tool with an average number of 4.02 in the interval 4.20 – 5.00 witha very good category. In the resulting output variable, which shows that thecompany has a service quality that is seen from the output produced with anaverage number of 3.80 is in the interval 4.20 - 5.00 with a very good category.Of the four indicators, the score results are in the very good category, which is inthe range of values from 4.20 to 5.00. Keywords: Quality Management, TQM, Deming Prize.

Abstract

The company is an organization that brings together people who are commonly referredto as employees or employees to carry out household activities for the company'sproduction. Almost all companies have the goal of maximizing profits and value for thecompany, and also to improve the welfare of owners and employees. Productivity is themain indicator for the progress of a company, so increasing productivity in all parts ofthe system is a way to increase the company's economic growth rate. This study aims toanalyze the effect of occupational safety and health programs on employee productivitythrough discipline as an intervening variable at PT. Prima Yudha Sari Perawang Riau.this research was conducted at PT. Prima Yudha Sari Perawang Riau which is located onJl. DT. Srimaraja Km. 6 - Perawang, Tualang District, Siak Regency. With 30 permanentemployees, and 80 Manpower Supporting employees, the total population is 110 byAccidental Sampling (random sampling) and using the slovin formula. So, the samples inthis study were 86 people. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square (PLS)analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the Occupational Safetyand Health Program had a significant positive effect on Work Productivity, WorkDiscipline had a significant positive effect on Work Productivity, the Occupational Safetyand Health Program had a significant positive effect on Work Discipline, and theOccupational Health and Safety Program had a significant positive effect on WorkProductivity. through Work Discipline as an intervening variable Keywords : Occupational Safety and Health Program (P3K), Discipline, WorkProductivity

Abstract

Project development planning certainly requires proper analysis and inaccordance with the desired needs. This activity is very necessary because itmeasures how much it will cost and how much it costs to build the project. Roadconstruction in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly, especially in the currentera. The success or failure of the implementation of road construction projects isoften due to the lack of planned project activities and ineffective control so thatproject activities are not efficient. Optimization of development time aims toprevent project delays and minimize costs and accelerate development projectactivities. In the toll road construction project the Pekanbaru Padang Toll roadconstruction work in section 2 STA 55+225 to 59+250 using the CPM methodthere is a critical path where the work activities are land acquisition work,construction work for kit and warehouse directors, foundation work, column work, Stressing girder work, slab work, asphalt coating work, other work and finishingwork. The scheduled duration of the project is 385 days, but after being evaluatedand analyzed by the CPM method, the project can be completed within 374 days.This means that the project can be done 11 days earlier than the specifiedschedule. Keywords: Project Management, Scheduling Optimization, CPM

Abstract

In the world's health care system, nurses have a very important role intreating and treating patients. The Mandau Duri Regional General Hospital is ahospital categorized as a type B hospital belonging to the Duri RegionalGovernment. Nurses at the Mandau Hospital must give their best performance.Behind a good performance, there will definitely be a physical workload andstress that follows. This study aims to determine the effect of physical workload onperformance with work stress as a mediating variable for nurses at Mandau DuriHospital. Primary data were collected with a questionnaire as an instrument. Totest the hypothesis using SEM with the help of the SMARTPLS applicationprogram. The population in this study includes all nurses who work in the ICUand IGD. Sampling technique using the census method, the sample of this studyamounted to 37 nurses. The results of the study indicate that: 1) there is anegative and significant influence between physical workload on the performanceof nurses in Mandau Hospital, 2) there is a positive and significant influencebetween physical workload on work stress in nurses at Mandau Hospital, 3) thereis an influence negatively and significantly between work stress on theperformance of nurses in Mandau Hospital, 4) there is a negative and significanteffect of physical workload on nurses' performance through work stress as amediating variable on nurses at Mandau Duri Hospital. Keywords: Physical Workload, Performance, and Job Stress

Abstract

The company is a management function and a collection of people involved in anactivity to achieve a predetermined goal. In practice, companies need resources tocarry out business activities. One of the resources needed to manage the businessactivities of a company is human resources (HR). Human resources have a veryimportant role because without this element the company will not be able to achievethe goals that have been set. Work productivity will be very important in improvingcompany performance, this is because work productivity is a measure of the qualityand quantity of a workforce in a unit of time to achieve results. or work performanceeffectively and efficiently with the resources used. This study aims to see anddetermine the direct effect of 5S implementation on work productivity. Thepopulation in this study were all employees at PT. Ekaputra Prada Indonesia inPekanbaru totaling 45 people, using Multiple Linear Regression. In this study, thesampling method used the Census Technique, which is a sampling technique inwhich the entire population is selected to be a member of the sample so that thesample becomes 45 respondents. The results in this study Seiri, Seiton, Seiso,Seiketsu and Shitsuke have a significant effect on Work Productivity. With themaintenance of space and better organization of the workplace, it will be able toincrease company profits and also enable companies to show potential strengthsand abilities so that the implementation of 5S will provide an increase in workproductivity. Keywords: Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke and Work Productivity
