This study aimed to know how to increase students’ ability to apply mathematical reasioning cooperative learning model Group investigation on the subject of integers in class VII SMP Negeri 17 Medan. This type of research is a classroom action research (classroom action research). Subjects in this study were students of class VII-s SMP Negeri 17 Medan as many as 32 students. The object of this research is  the improvement of students’ mathematical reasoning ability by applying the learning model of Group Investigation on material integers in class VII-2 SMP Negeri 17 Medan academic year 2014/2015. From the observations, the researchers found that the average value of observations increases from the first cycle to the second cycle. The results of observations of teachers increased from 2.78 in the good category in the first cycle to 3.3 with excellent category on the second cycle. So also with the observation of students increased from 2.68 in both categories in the first cycle to 3.27 in both categories in the second cycle. Of action I through the prevision of mathematical reasioning ability test I obtained 17 students (53.125 %) of 32 students have achieved mastery learning (value of 2.66). after the second act through the prevision of mathematical reasioning test II acquired 28 students (87.66 %) of the 32 students who have achieved mastery learning (2.66). Abstract

The objective of this study is to developing teaching materials of comic form and student worksheets of flat-shape structure material for third grade students of elementary school 060843 with Realistic Mathematics Education. This research is a Research & Development (R & D), Van den Akker models (1999). The samples in this study were 40 third-grade students, for every I and II trials. The result of this study showing  that comics, student’s worksheet, and the learning outcomes tests was valid and excellent. The improvement of learning outcomes of students occurred very well.  The mean score result on first initial trial test before using the developed teaching materials was 64,25, and then on the final test after using the developed teaching   material the mean score was 87,88. On the second trial test, the mean score on the initial test was 64,13, while on the final test the mean score was 88,38. Based on the observation of teacher’s activities, students, teacher’s impressions , student’s responses, and the student’s  teaching outcomes that including completeness of objective and classical, then the implementation of comics and student’s worksheet with Realistic Mathematics Education could be declared effective and excellent.

Abstract

This study aims to see the differences in students' self confidence between students with the treatment of the creative problem solving learning model and the discovery learning model analysed based on gender. The data analysis was done using two-way Anava with different number of cell to see the effect of gender and learning models on students' self confidence. After the effect of gender and the learning model was found, a further post-Anova test using Scheffe method was executed. This analysis shows the following results: gender has an influence on students' self confidence as well as there is an influence of the learning model on students' self confidence, there is no interaction between gender and learning models on students' self confidence. When a post-Anova test with Scheffe's method was applied, it is found that there are differences in students' self confidence between the creative problem solving model and the discovery learning model. Female students have better self confidence than male students , while the creative problem solving model provides better self confidence than discovery learning model.

Abstract

The study aims to: 1) develop valid, practical, and effective quality learning materials for class VII SMP Berastagi 1 Program that focuses on the contextual teaching and learning model with the Karo cultural context (CTL-KCC); and 2) examine the enhancement of students' math problem-solving abilities as a side effect of using CTL-KCC learning materials. This research is development research using a 4-D development model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research yielded learning materials such as learning implementation plans, student books, student worksheets, and mathematical problem-solving ability tests. The following conclusions were uncovered as a result of the research:1) In regards to their respective criteria, CTL-KCC learning materials had also met the valid, practical, and effective criteria.2) The N-gain value during the first trial of 0.30 for the "medium" criteria enhanced to 0.47 for the "moderate" criteria in the second trial, indicating an improvement in students' ability to solve mathematical problems using CTL-KCC learning materials.

Abstract

The learning process has evolved from face-to-face to online, hybrid, and back to face-to-face. This change resulted in a number of changes, particularly in the learning curriculum, which began as the Kurikulum 2013, evolved into the Kurikulum Darurat, and is now being implemented as the Kurikulum Merdeka. The purpose of this research is to reinforce the importance of scientific literacy in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The results of published research on the relationship of scientific literacy to Kurikulum Merdeka achievements are the subject of this study. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) method was used in this study. According to the findings, there is a relation between scientific literacy and the Kurikulum Merdeka. According to the findings of this study, students in the Kurikulum Merdeka for Elementary Schools are expected to cultivate environmental awareness and life skills. Meanwhile, scientific literacy necessitates an explanation of facts for all scientific phenomena. Thus, through scientific literacy, students are able to protect nature through scientific phenomena.

Abstract

A This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of Blended Learning models towards Mathematical Student’s Problem Solving Abilities and Self-Regulated, (2) the improvement of student’s mathematical problem solving and self regulated learning (3) the advantages of the advantages and disadvantages of blended learning model. This type of research includes descriptive qualitative research using library research methods. The data in this study were obtained from a collection of literature such as theses and journals that are relevant to the topic of discussion, namely Mathematical Student’s Problem Solving Abilities And Self-Regulated. The results show that, 1) Blended Learning Model has a great effect on students' problem solving abilities based on the overall effect size calculation which produces an average effect size of 1.56 where this number is included in the high category and Blended Learning Model has a great effect on student’s self-regulated based on the overall effect size calculation which produces an average effect size of 1.73 2) There is an increase in mathematical the student's problem solving abilities and self-regulated learning that are taught through blended learning models. This can be seen from the achievement of N-Gain value and indicators in the experimental class in the literature which is generally better than the control class. 3) Based on the analysis, it was found that the advantages and disadvantages of blended learning. it can be obtained that the advantages of blended learning models as follows: (a) Learning is more effective and efficient, (b) Improve accessibility. with blended learning, it is easier for learning participants to access material learning. and disadvantages of blended learning is Not evenly distributed facilities owned by students, such as computers and internet access. Even though blended learning requires adequate internet access, if the network is inadequate it will make it difficult for participants to take part in independent learning via online.
