Abstract

Lebih menyukai makanan jajanan dan pilih-pilih makanan merupakan salah satu fase pola makan yag dialami hampir seluruh anak usia dini. Jajanan yang sering dikonsumsi oleh anak-anak seringkali minim zat gizi dan banyak mengandung bahan tambahan dan berpengawet.  Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat khususnya kaum ibu melalui Program Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) tentang pemenuhan asupan gizi melalui camilan sehat. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu yang tergabung dalam PKK yang memiliki anak usia dini yang tinggal di wilayah Jakarta. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan paparan materi tentang konsep makanan bergizi seimbang dan pentingnya pemenuhan asupan gizi pada anak usia dini melalui makanan serta workshop membuat camilan sehat berupa drumstick nasi isi ayam dan nugget tempe. Pemilihan kedua menu camilan ini berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dimana anak-anak senang mengkonsumsi makanan siap saji dalam bentuk makanan beku (frozen food) dalam bentuk nugget dan juga drumstick. Untuk menjaga asupan gizi anak dapat terpenuhi, maka kedua menu ini dibuat agar anak mendapatkan asupan nilai gizi yang lebih baik walaupun makanan yang dikonsumsi dalam bentuk camilan. Diharapkan setelah melakukan workshop, ibu-ibu peserta kegiatan dapat mempraktekkan di rumah menu camilan sehat tersebut dan menjadi alternatif camilan baru bagi anak, sehingga anak lebih terpantau asupan makanannya dan wawasan ibu-ibu peserta kegiatan dapat bertambah tentang makanan bergizi seimbang.

Abstract

Harmonious families are shown through harmonious, happy, affectionate attitudes and less conflict. This study aims to find out how the harmony of the busker family, their relationships and factors that affect their harmonious. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations and documentations. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis where data was compiled, processed and analyzed to provide an overview of the harmony of busker families. The results of study stated that the busker family has harmonious family. Influencing factors were 1) Honesty, open communication, and full understanding among family members; 2) accepting dan respecting family members’ differences; 3) Spending sometimes with family to build proximity among family members; 4) Nondisruptive conflict resolution.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi COVID-19 memiliki dampak pada berbagai aspek perkembangan anak, termasuk perkembangan sosial emosional. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak pembelajaran daring terhadap perilaku agresif anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan di Raudhatul Athfal Jakarta Timur kepada 35 anak. Data diambil dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara daring yang diisi oleh orang tua responden. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil temuan menyatakan bahwa perilaku agresif yang sering muncul selama pembelajaran daring adalah perilaku agresif verbal berupa anak sering berteriak kepada orang yang mendampingi selama pembelajaran daring. Ini terjadi karena anak merasa bosan, frustasi, tidak memiliki teman dan merasa lelah setelah pembelajaran daring. Perilaku agresif yang paling sedikit muncul adalah agresif fisik dimana anak jarang sekali menyakiti pendamping saat pembelajaran daring. Dengan hasil riset ini, diharapkan orang tua dan guru dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada anak tentang cara mengekspresikan emosi secara baik. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran daring; perilaku agresif; pandemi COVID-19 Abstract Online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on various aspects of children's development, including social-emotional development. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach which aimed to explore the impact of online learning on the aggressive behavior of children aged 5-6 years. The research was conducted at Raudhatul Athfal, East Jakarta, with 35 children. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires online which were filled out by the parents of the respondents. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings state that aggressive behavior often appears during online learning as verbal aggressive behavior in the form of children often shouting at people who accompany them during online learning. This happens because children feel bored, frustrated, have no friends and feel tired after online learning. The least aggressive behavior that appears is physical aggression where children rarely hurt their companions during online learning. With the results of this research, it is hoped that parents and teachers can provide understanding to children about how to express emotions well. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has occurred since the end of 2019, which impacts parents' income and the fulfilment of children's nutrition. This study aims to determine the effect of parental income on the nutritional status of children aged 4-5 years in Koja District, North Jakarta, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses quantitative research with a population consisting of children aged 4-5 years in Koja District, North Jakarta. Sampling using random sampling technique, so that the respondents of this study amounted to 77 respondents. Data analysis used linear regression of 2 variables. Estimation of validity and reliability was carried out to determine the quality of the questions. The results showed that there was an effect of parental income during the COVID-19 pandemic on the nutritional status of children aged 4-5 years in Koja District, North Jakarta, with a significance value of 0.000 which was smaller than 0.05 and based on the significance test with the t-value formula, the result was 5.359 greater than t-table of 1.995. The coefficient value of the two variables shows a value of 0.277 or 27.7% of parental income affecting the nutritional status of children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The declining income of parents in the Koja Subdistrict, North Jakarta, during the COVID-19 pandemic can affect the availability of food and the fulfilment of balanced nutrition for children every day, which impacts the nutritional status of children. This research contributes to the understanding that policymakers, in particular, need to pay serious attention to the development of children's nutrition during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of parenting stress experienced by fathers on children’s negative emotional behavior. This cross-sectional study involved 180 fathers with children aged 4-6 years selected using a non-probability sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires administered via Google Forms. Data validity and reliability were assessed using expert judgment and field testing. Data were analyzed using the Smart PLS (Partial Least Squares) through outer model analysis, inner model analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that 56.1% of children’s negative emotional behavior was influenced by parenting stress experienced by fathers. The results suggest that fathers, as heads of households, should adopt positive parenting practices and eliminate stressors while caring their children.

Abstract

Learning videos can be used as a learning tool. Learning videos have several advantages, including providing convenience in undergoing the learning process without being bound by space and time, and material can be repeated independently. Many learning videos can be accessed on social media. To facilitate learners in learning and attract their attention, learning videos must be made creatively and innovatively. One of the applications to create learning videos is Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). This community service uses the application to socialize to educators in the hope that educators can be helped in making interesting learning videos. Previously, OBS had never been used by educators in delivering material. This community service was attended by 40 Muhammadiyah high school teachers in Jakarta. On the first day of community service, the speaker explained about learning videos with OBS. On the second day, participants were asked to make their learning videos with the help of the community service team. Furthermore, participants presented the results of their work. Participants felt that it would be easier to convey material with learning videos and could be more creative with OBS.

Abstract

Anxiety is one form of unpleasant emotional response that is often felt by children with thalassemia during the hospitalization process. This study aims to analyze the effect of play therapy using fun cognitive games on anxiety disorders in children with thalassemia. The study used a quantitative pre-experimental approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design in preschool children undergoing treatment at the Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA). The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique and involved five preschool children. The instrument used was an adaptation of the HARS instrument that had been validated and tested internally and externally. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the SPSS program. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the pretest and posttest showed a decrease in anxiety disorders from the criteria for very severe anxiety disorders to mild anxiety disorders after children received fun cognitive games play therapy. The Wilcoxon test produced an Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.042 <0.05, which indicated a significant effect of fun cognitive games play therapy on anxiety disorders in preschool children with thalassemia at RSIA. The conclusion of this study is that the innovation of fun cognitive games play therapy is effective in reducing anxiety levels in preschool-age children with thalassemia. The implication of this study is that it can be a recommended intervention to support children's emotional well-being during hospitalization.

Abstract

Pola asuh otoriter dapat menyebabkan anak anak merasa tertekan, dikekang, dan kurang mandiri, membentuk konsep diri yang negatif dan memicu timbulnya perilaku yang menyimpang, salah satunya perilaku agresif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam menguji pengaruh pola asuh otoriter terhadap perilaku agresif pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kecamatan Palas, Lampung Selatan. Populasi pada penelitian ialah orang tua yang memilki anak usia 5-6 di Kecamatan Palas, Lampung Selatan. Dengan teknik purposive sampling terpilih 65 orang tua yang melakukan penerapan pada pola asuh otoriter dari 136 kuesioner yang disebar secara langsung. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Data dianalisis dengan memakai uji regresi linier melalui program SPSS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel pola asuh otoriter terhadap perilaku agresif anak usia 5-6 tahun. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh persamaan Y= 5,372 + 0.578 X. Pola asuh otoriter berkontribusi sebesar 68% terhadap perilaku agresif. Dari hasil penelitian harapannya orang tua bisa mengindari pola asuh otoriter supaya perilaku agresif anak dapat dikurangi.
