Abstract

Abstract

Food is the most important basic need to sustain the life of all creatures, including humans. So it is necessary to strive for adequate and equitable fulfillment of needs. In addition to survival, food is very influential in improving the quality of life of the nation. Planting various vegetables for food availability in the household does not have to be supported by a large yard. The yard with a limited area can also be used as land for growing vegetables and fruits. The implementation of these activities sequentially consists of socialization, discussion, direct practice and mentoring. The results achieved from this program are increasing community awareness and skills through activities carried out with the community around Barejulat Village so as to encourage the community to be motivated to optimize the potential of resources in the form of yards owned by the community to increase. Welfare based on technology and local wisdom. At the same time, it teaches the community to understand how important it is to cultivate a passion for farming from an early age so that in the future the sustainable food house program can be continued by future generations.

Abstract

The development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) faces challenges related to infrastructure that has not been fully realized, which may affect the effectiveness of the area. Adequate infrastructure is essential to support the competitiveness and sustainability of the Mandalika SEZ as a leading tourism destination. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the urgency of infrastructure development, analyze the relationships among variables, and determine the infrastructure priorities that need to be addressed immediately. This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach through stakeholder surveys and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. The exogenous variables include infrastructure-related factors, while the endogenous variables include socioeconomic benefits, sustainability, community welfare, and tourism attractiveness. The results of the analysis show that the priorities for infrastructure development are as follows: 1) regional supporting infrastructure, 2) electricity facilities, 3) SWTP, 4) infrastructure for surrounding communities, 5) clean water and irrigation systems, and 6) WWTP. Regional supporting infrastructure has the greatest influence on socioeconomic benefits and destination attractiveness. Infrastructure development in the Mandalika SEZ needs to prioritize a value-creating infrastructure approach to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of the region. These findings provide a scientific basis for more strategic and sustainable infrastructure development planning.

Abstract

Pakuan Village is a tourist village with the potential for waterfalls and road access through hilly areas that have high disaster vulnerability. Risks such as landslides, flash floods, and slippery roads threaten the safety of the public and tourists. The main problem is the low literacy of community disaster preparedness and the limited understanding of mitigation in road infrastructure. This service activity aims to increase knowledge and awareness through disaster mitigation education. The methods used include participatory socialization, material delivery, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results show an increase in public understanding of the types of disasters, how they impact road infrastructure, and simple mitigation measures that can be taken. Mitigation education has proven to be effective in increasing community preparedness and is the first step in building a disaster awareness culture in the Pakuan Village tourist area.
