Abstract

Poverty in Indonesia is still evident in areas with a large population of Christians. According to the data from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2020, the provinces of Papua, Maluku and NTT are areas with a high percentage of population poverty rates. Even though in these areas the church has been serving the people for a long time. The existence of the church in the midst of society wherever it is is expected to be able to answer the problem of poverty that plagues church congregants and society in general. Churches that serve in poor community face challenges in playing an active role in increasing congregational income. The limited resources owned by the church and the limited financial support of congregational make the church unable to serve the congregation maximally in terms of supporting the increase in the income of the congregation who are still living in poverty. Unlike the case with churches that have good resources such as human resources and strong financial resources. Realizing the limited resources owned by the church, it is necessary to involve third parties from outside the church and the congregation to equip and provide support to the church in developing the economic potential of the congregation. Keeping Christ-centered Christian values ​​from being degraded, the church builds partnership with institutions that have the same service values ​​as the church and have the same goal of increasing the income of congregation. Cooporation can be carried out through partnerships to achieve common goals to increase income of congregation. Each party has rights and obligations that support each other in the partnership that is built.

Abstract

A woman must understand the meaning of the helping words and prayer pillars. The facts show that there are still too many women in small towns and big cities who do not understand the function of a helper and prayer pillar in every household. The method used is to hold seminars about women so that many have quality spirituality. Because by having spiritual qualities, they will understand the function of being a helper and prayer pillar. The seminar implementation was delivered to various interdenominational churches; the participants were women pastors and the seminar lecture method. This is done with the hope that all participants can convey. This was done with the hope that all participants would be able to convey the material they got in the seminar to their respective congregations in their local church. Due to the covid 19 pandemic, many events are being held via zoom. This is also used to follow up on the teaching that has been delivered so that they remain in the community who want to learn.

Abstract

Social media has become an important part of the daily lives of youth in Indonesia. However, the influence of social media can be unhealthy if used excessively or in the wrong way. Community can be a solution for youth who experience negative social media influences. This article discusses the role of the community in helping youth overcome the negative effects of social media influence and encourage positive development within youth in Indonesia. This journal uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach or participant observation. Through writing this journal, the authors can draw conclusions that the community can play a very crucial role in helping to increase public understanding and awareness of the benefits of technology. The results obtained can also provide insight that the community can play a crucial role in helping people optimize the use of technology and social media. So this research contributes not only to reminding social media users out there to be wise about the use of social media, but this research also reminds community activists out there who really understand the potential of social media in this era to teach and guide in any form to the public. Indonesia, so that the Indonesian state can progress rapidly as is the progress in existing technology.
