Abstract

Instagram tidak hanya digunakan masyarakat untuk berbagi foto dan video, melainkan juga untuk bisnis, pemasaran bahkan promosi perpustakaan. TBM Kolong Ciputat menggunakan Instagram sejak Januari 2017 dan per-September 2019 telah membagikan 829 posts foto dan video, telah mengikuti 1.258 akun, dan telah memiliki pengikut sebanyak 2.734 akun. Akun @tbmkolong aktif membagikan berbagai konten seperti kegiatan yang akan atau sudah berlangsung di TBM Kolong Ciputat. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan Instagram di TBM Kolong Ciputat. Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terhadap pengurus TBM Kolong Ciputat, pengunjung TBM Kolong Ciputat dan pengikut di akun Instagram @tbmkolong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan Instagram sebagai pemasaran untuk sosialisasi, promosi, dan menyebarkan informasi mengenai kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh TBM Kolong Ciputat untuk masyarakat luas. Instagram @tbmkolong sudah menerapkan bauran pemasaran 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion).  Namun demikian, penggunaan Instagram ternyata tidak terlihat bermanfaat bagi warga sekitar khususnya anak-anak dan warga sekitar TBM karena warga sekitar dan anak-anak tidak memiliki akses pada internet dan mereka bukan pengguna Instagram.  Instagram hanya bermanfaat bagi TBM Kolong Ciputat sebagai media komunikasi dan eksistensi bagi pihak luar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisis tren dan menginterpretasikan hasil penelitian yang menggunakan analisis framing pada disiplin ilmu informasi. Penelitian menggunakan analisis framing berperan dalam menganalisis bagaimana informasi dikonstruksi, dipersepsikan, dan memengaruhi pengambilan keputusan serta pemahaman publik. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tinjauan pustaka sistematis (Systematic Literatur Review/ SLR). Pada periode kurun waktu 10 tahun (2015-2025) terdapat 12 artikel yang diterbitkan pada jurnal nasional yang diindeks oleh Google Scholar dan Scopus yang menggunakan analisis framing pada bidang ilmu informasi.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan analisis framing sebagai analisis teks dalam ilmu informasi membantu memahami bagaimana informasi direpresentasikan dalam berbagai bentuk media. Teori yang banyak digunakan diantaranya Teori Goffman, Entman, Edelman, William A Gamsons dan Andre Modigliani serta teori Peace Jurnalism. Beberapa metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan analisis framing diantaranya analisis konten, pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik analisis multi-modal, analisis video sintetis yang menggunakan Deep Fakes, pendekatan komputasional, pendekatan komputasi untuk analisis bingkai berita multibahasa. Topik penelitian berdasarkan kata kuci yang sering muncul diantaranya framing, Twitter dan content analysis. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa media online mencoba mengonstruksi dan membangun kesadaran di tengah masyarakat sebagai pemilik informasi. Meskipun demikian secara keseluruhan belum banyak penelitian bidang ilmu informasi yang menggunakan analisis framing dalam membedah fenomena yang ada.

Abstract

Preventive conservation is an action taken to slow down deterioration and prevent damage to collections and cultural materials in information institutions. Preventive conservation in galleries is carried out to prevent damage to collections, especially paintings. Bumi Parawira Gallery has a collection of paintings while the possibility of damage to the painting collection at Bumi Parawira Gallery is inevitable. This research aims to analyze the preventive conservation of painting collections at Bumi Parawira Gallery. This research was conducted using qualitative methods and data collection was done through interviews, observations, and surveys. The results showed that the preventive conservation of painting collections at Bumi Parawira Gallery is carried out by looking at damage factors and potential losses that will occur such as vandalism, theft, pollutants, and dissociation.

Abstract

This study discusses the protection of static archives against fire disasters in the ANRI. Static archive protection is needed because the static archive has historical and national values. Moreover, the archive collection owned by ANRI is approximately 13,232 conventional archives and 8,080 new media archives. If the archive owned by ANRI is lost due to a disaster, the loss is not only felt by the institution but by the Indonesian. Not only archives that must be considered but the building or building where the archive is stored also needs attention. Buildings must be designed to store and protect archives from disasters. One of the disasters that caused many losses both soul and material was fire. For this reason, this study aims to identify the protection of static records against fire disasters at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia, especially in the Directorate of Preservation. This study uses a qualitative approach to the case study method. Data collection methods used are observation and interview. The 11 informants were selected using purposive sampling method, with criteria of staff who formulated, implemented and fostered the field of preservation at ANRI. Static archive protection against fire disasters in ANRI cannot be considered as a small disaster risk because it will cause loss in the static archive collection that is owned. Protection is needed through the stages of prevention, preparation, reaction and recovery. Routine checks must be carried out on tools, training regularly, and special teams are made with clear job descriptions in case of a fire disaster.

Abstract

Pengelolaan arsip keluarga di RW 03 Kelurahan Pulau Untung Jawa sangat penting karena arsip keluarga terkait identitas, kepemilikan, dan warisan. Minimnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pengelolaan arsip keluarga mendorong pelaksanaan program Masyarakat Cerdas Sadar Arsip untuk meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua dan anak-anak. Metode yang dilakukan dalam program ini adalah pendekatan secara langsung melalui kegiatan workshop, Archivisit, dan Krearsip. Program ini dirancang berdasarkan kebutuhan dari masyarakat melalui tahap persiapan, perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil program menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya pengelolaan arsip keluarga dan penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari- hari. Anak-anak juga terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan Krearsip dengan menghasilkan kerajinan dari sampah kertas yang bermanfaat. Sinergi antara stakeholder RW 03 Kelurahan Pulau Untung Jawa dengan masyarakat secara mandiri melanjutkan inisiatif ini dengan terus menerapkan edukasi yang telah diberikan untuk melakukan keberlanjutan program ini. Dukungan dari pihak terkait juga diperlukan agar kegiatan ini dapat terus berkembang dan membawa manfaat jangka panjang.

Abstract

The ability of librarians who have developed during the pandemic and continue to be utilized in the post-pandemic period that adapts to circumstances is urgently needed. Librarians must strive to improve their capabilities with innovation in various services. This study aims to identify how to increase the ability of UI Librarians during a pandemic. The research approach in this study was qualitative with data collection methods namely interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of the study showed that during the pandemic, librarians at the UI Library had new abilities both in librarianship and outside of librarianship. These capabilities include increasing ability to process data, improving communication skills, online teaching skills, creating content on social media, repairing website servers, and other capabilities outside the librarianship field. Apart from that, what is interesting about the ability of librarians at the UI Library during a pandemic is the ability to adapt to information technology. This is as a result of the pandemic which has temporarily closed work and services in the library.

Abstract

This research presents about human resources at Special school of A Pembina Tingkat Nasional Lebak Bulus Jakarta. The purposes of this research are to describe the teacher-librarian motivation at the works and any factor affecting. A case study method is used in this qualitative research. The result shows that the motivation of teacher-librarian works based on his/her desire to make a better library. In addition, the factor which influence the motivation of teacher library based on achievements, acknowledgment, responsibility and their status.

Abstract

This study aims to describe reading habits of elementary school student at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Anyelir 1 Depok Baru, Jawa Barat. This is a quantitative research with case study method. The data collected by distributing questionnaire towards 8 years old of 152 students at the particular school (total sampling population). The result shows that reading habit level of participants are categorized low. Less than 55% participants claimed they spent their leisure time for reading. This research suggest that parents and school teacher need to cultivate reading habit of the kids. Book habits among children also needs to be preserved as well as providing good children books.

Abstract

This study identifies the students’ reading interest of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Depok Baru, West Java. This research uses a quantitative research approach with descriptive method. The data was collected by using survey. The results showed that students have their own reading interest. Their favorite genre of reading materials includes religious stories, comic, and short novels. The findings suggest that parents need to introduce another reading material variation such as newspapers. Parents are also encouraged to supervise their children while reading comic.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of social media towards library and information science (LIS) students’ information behaviour in responding health issues. This is a quantitative study with survey method to collect the data. The survey was distributed to LIS students of Universitas Indonesia in March 2020. The result shows that social media affects students’ information behaviour. The finding also shows that almost all of the students could fulfil their information needs and could distinguish original information and hoaxes on social media, and students did not directly disseminate the information before reading the whole content of the information carefully. Most of the students also checked the information source being used. There is an interesting finding that students preferred to upload personal opinion related to the information they read through their personal social media account than to give opinion on comment box.
