Abstract

Untuk menjaga kesehatan jasmani, mahasiswa Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (KKN) melakukan pengabdian masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar mahasiswa dapat berinteraksi dengan masyarakat setempat. Salah satu lokasi yang dipilih Universitas PGRI Palembang untuk menjadi tuan rumah KKN adalah desa Talang Betutu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan atas kesepakatan bersama dan dukungan penuh. Senam adalah suatu kegiatan yang dipilih oleh tubuh dan dilakukan secara sadar dan sistematis dengan tujuan membentuk jiwa yang harmonis. Senam merupakan olahraga yang digemari masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan olah raga di bidang olah raga harus menimbulkan kehidupan masyarakat yang sehat. Kegiatan ini berhasil dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN Kelompok 28 dan dilaksanakan pada hari Minggu tanggal 19 November 2023 di Taran Betutu RT 32 Sukaalami. Untuk mempererat tali silaturahmi antara mahasiswa KKN dengan masyarakat di lingkungan Pos 1, dilakukan pembagian doorprize untuk meningkatkan antusiasme masyarakat dalam mengikuti kegiatan latihan pagi.

Abstract

Bentuk dari pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat berupa kuliah kerja nyata (KKN).Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar mahasiswa dapat berpartisipasi dan berinteraksi dengan masyarakat setempat.Salah satu lokasi yang dipilih oleh Universitas PGRI Palembang sebagai tempat KKN adalah Kelurahan Talang Betutu.Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal di SD dan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN kepada beberapa masyarakat, diketahui bahwa masih ada siswa sekolah Dasar (SD) kelas tinggi yang belum lancar membaca dan berhitung. Dari hasil temuan ini maka mahasiswa KKN di Kelurahan Talang Betutu diarahkan untuk membuat program kegiatan belajar tambahan bagi murid PAUD, TK dan sekolah dasar dari kelas 1 sampai dengan kelas 6. Beberapa program kegiatan KKN dalam bidang Pendidikan yaitu: 1) kegiatan les untuk siswa PAUD dan TK, 2) kegiatan les membaca, berhitung dan Bahasa Inggris untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar, 3) membantu dan berkolaborasi mengajar di SD Negeri 124 Palembang. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah murid PAUD, TK dan Sekolah Dasar yang juga melibatkan orang tua, guru, pemerintah setempat, dan masyarakat Kelurahan Talang Betutu. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan minat belajar seperti membaca dan menghitung anak-anak TK dan sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, mengingat kurangnya kebutuhan pembelajaran, maka untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas perlu dicari alternative untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut yaitu dengan dibuatnya program kerja.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of critical thinking skills of students in Indonesian language subjects at SD Negeri 07 Palembang. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of learning styles on students' critical thinking skills in Indonesian language subjects. The research method used in this study is a quantitative correlational approach. The sample of this study was class V B SD Negeri 07 Palembang as many as 22 students in the 2025 academic year. The instrument used was a questionnaire, with normality and homogeneity that had been tested using SPSS 25 with the results of data analysis showing that the data was normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained a T-count value of 5.632> T-table 2.704 at the 0.05 level so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This means that there is a significant influence between learning styles on students' critical thinking skills in Indonesian language subjects. So that learning styles can be used as an alternative to determine students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on ability to make sentences in indonesian language learning of grade IV elementary school students. The background of this study is based on the low ability to make sentences that are in accordance with the structure and rules of the Indonesian language, as well as the lack of student activity in the learning process. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental design of the pretest-posttest control group design type. The subjects of the study were grade IV students of SDN 7 Banyuasin 1 in the 2024/2025 academic year consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class(using the snowball throwing model) and the control class (using convenntional learning), each consisting of 331 student. The instruments used were multiple choice and essay test, with validity and realibility that have been tested using SPSS 25. The result of data analysis showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained a ta value at a significance level of 0,05. So Ho was rejected and Ha eas accepted. This means that there is a significant influence of the snowball throwing learning model on i proving students’ sentences-making abilities. Thus , the snowball throwing model can be used as an alternative learning strategy that is fun and increasees students’ activiness and language skill.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS is a global health issue that affects not only physical health but also psychological, social, and emotional aspects of individuals. The role of guidance and counseling is crucial in the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS through educational, preventive, and curative approaches. Guidance and counseling services contribute to providing accurate information about HIV/AIDS, shaping healthy attitudes and behaviors, and helping individuals develop responsible decision-making skills. In addition, counseling services offer psychological support for individuals at risk or living with HIV/AIDS to help them accept their condition, reduce stigma, and improve their quality of life. Therefore, guidance and counseling serve as an important strategy in reducing the transmission of HIV/AIDS and enhancing individual and community well-being.

Abstract

Self efficacy is a self-belief in one's ability to achieve expected goals. Low self-efficacy in students has an impact on student achievement and their inner abilities. The study aims to determine the effect of group guidance with group exercise techniques in developing students' self-efficacy. Group exercise techniques in group guidance which include writing, drawing, and pasting photos as a medium of self-expression are chosen so that students practice self-skills in a supportive group situation. The purposeful sampling technique was used to select 6 students, with 2 students having high self-efficacy, 2 students having moderate self-efficacy, and 2 students having low self-efficacy .This research uses a pre-experimental method with The One Group Pretest Posttest design. Data were collected through a self-efficacy questionnaire developed based on Bandura's theory with aspects of magnitude, generality, and strength. The intervention was carried out for 3 meetings. The results showed a significant increase in self-efficacy scores after receiving group guidance with group exercise techniques with an average pretest score of 126 and an increase in posttest 170 so that the percentage increased to 35% from before and after treatment. The results of the Wilcoxon test show that there is a significant effect with an asymptotic significance value of 0.027 greater than the 0.05 limit, which indicates Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This indicates that the group exercise technique applied is effective in developing the self-efficacy of junior high school students.
