Abstract

Motivation is one of the things that affect the success of student learning activities at school, without motivation, the learning process will be difficult to implement optimally. This is because learning motivation is a conscious and planned effort that will encourage a person to realize every goal and ideal in his life. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of learning motivation possessed by the students of class XI Smk Taruna Mandiri Cimahi. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method with probability sampling technique, with the results obtained that more than 60% of respondents have high learning motivation, while 30% of students are still in the medium category, and 10% are in the high category. low category. This proves that there are still many students who have high learning motivation within themselves. Keywords: : Learning Motivation, High School Students

Abstract

Discipline is a condition that is created and formed through the process of a series of behaviors that show the values of obedience, obedience, loyalty, order, and order. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of online-based group counseling services on student discipline, student responses and difficulties, as well as the obstacles experienced by BK teachers regarding online-based group counseling services with a behavioral approach. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data obtained from the research results in the form of words and explanations about a phenomenon that occurs. The subjects in this study were Curriculum Staff, Homeroom Teacher, BK teacher, and class VII MTs Nurul Iman. The data collection procedure uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Service implementation in this study was carried out by BK teachers. Students' responses and difficulties to the services provided are different from one another. And there are several obstacles for BK teachers in implementing online group-based counseling services with a behavioral approach. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there are changes experienced by students after participating in online-based group counseling service activities with a behavioral approach. Keywords: : Discipline, Group Counseling, Behavioral Approach

Abstract

Classical online-based guidance services at SMP/MTs are one of the types of guidance and counseling services carried out daring the COVID-19 pandemic which requires each individual to study at home, work at home, and worship at home by obeying all the regulations that have been applied. by the government. This study aims to determine the continuity of providing online-based classical guidance services at MTs Al-Bidayah. The approach used instudy thisis a qualitative approach, with the type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and interviews. The subjects used in this study were BK teachers who held students of MTs Al-Bidayah class VIII. The results found that the provision of online-based classical services can be done more interestingly than usual by using the expository method which in the service process provides information on the definitions, principles and concepts of service materials and provides examples of problem solving exercises in the form of lectures, demonstrations , questions and answers and assignments. Keywords: Classical Guidance Service, Career selection.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek penyebab terjadinya masalah krisis karakter anak dikarenakan orang tua tidak mampu mendidik anaknya dengan baik, akibatnya memunculkan penyimpangan perilaku pada anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merepresentasikan peran orang tua terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus, metode studi kasus digunakan peneliti untuk mengungkap kondisi faktual perihal tentang peran orang tua dalam mendidik anaknya. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di Desa kandang Mas, Kota Bengkulu. Subjek penelitian berjumlah tiga keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat temuan penelitian. Pertama, dalam upaya menumbuhkan karakter anak, pola asuh demokratis dapat digunakan orang tua sebagai alat dalam mendidik anak. Kedua, upaya menumbuhkan karakter anak, langkah yang harus dilakukan orang tua adalah menciptakan keluaga yang berkarakter. Ketiga, nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan orang tua pada anaknya meliputi jujur, peduli/empati, mandiri, disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerja keras, sederhana, berani, adil, sabar, religius, toleransi, kepemimpinan. Keempat, strategi yang dilakukan orang dalam upaya mengatasi masalah karakter anak dapat menggunakan metode pengawasan, aturan dan hukuman. Kontribusi hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pengayaan baik itu dalam tinjauan teoretik maupun praktik perihal kajian tentang peran orang tua dalam membentuk karakter pada anaknya

Abstract

School tasks are responsibilities that must be done and completed for every student. However, there are some cases where students are late in submitting the tasks, while the others do not even submit them at all. The behavior of delaying the responsibility is called procrastination, and if the responsibility is in academic things, then it is called academic procrastination. Academic procrastination behavior can have an impact on students' grades. Guidance and counseling teachers can help counselees in solving academic procrastination problems by using group counseling with bibliotherapy techniques. The subjects of this study are two students who have procrastination behavior and one guidance and counseling teacher. This study use qualitative research method with descriptive approach.  This study aims to determine the implementation of group counseling using bibliotherapy techniques on academic procrastination of ninth-grade junior high school students. Guidance and counseling teachers can use group counseling with bibliotherapy and the I SOLVE strategy to reduce academic procrastination behavior for ninth-grade junior high school students. Keywords: : Group Counseling, Bibliotherapy, Academic Procrastination

Abstract

The background of this research is the current pandemic of covid-19 that affected giving service classical guidance in the school. The aim of this research is to know the application of classical guidance services through sociodrama techniques on aggression behavior. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The instruments of this research used data from observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject premier of this research is teacher of guidance and counseling, and students of SMP Negeri 4 Cipatat grade Eight. The secondary subject of this research is the data from the school, such as from the Head School of SMP Negeri 4 Cipatat, the homeroom teacher, and the teacher of guidance and counseling. The results showed that after the giving activity of service classical guidance online through sociodrama technic to the aggression behavior of students, it works well. It can be seen from the capability of the teacher guidance and counseling in applying all stages in the service of classical guidance, starting from the beginning of implementation until finishing or evaluating. Keywords: Classical Guidance, Sociodrama Technic, Aggression Behavior

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic condition which affected the provision of guidance and counseling services in schools, especially the provision of group guidance services to grade VII students at MTs Al-Inayah Bandung City. To support group guidance service activities, interesting techniques are needed so that these services are in demand by students, namely by using role playing techniques, role playing activities between students in groups by playing a real role in everyday life. Grade VII students are a transitional period of developmental tasks from childhood to adolescence. Prosocial behavior is one of the developmental maturities of adolescence, but in reality there are still students who have not optimized this development, in order to prevent misconduct, therefore group guidance services with techniques are needed role playing. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods. The data collected in this study are data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were 3 students who tended to have a less caring attitude towards others, low tolerance and help to help. The results showed that after being provided with services by the counseling teacher, there was a change in behavior that was displayed compared to before being given the service. So it can be understood that the application of group guidance services with techniques is role playing effective on the prosocial behavior of class VII students at MTs Al-Inayah Bandung.Keywords: Group Guidance Service, Role Playing Techniques, Prosocial Behavior

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of group guidance services using sociodrama techniques on the smoking behavior of students of Madrasah Aliyah class X at the integrated MA Alhuda Cililin, to find out how students respond in service activities, as well as to observe what difficulties students feel during service activities, and observe obstacles faced by BK teachers in the process of service delivery. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation studies, and processed using triangulation. The data in this study is the result of interviews with the BK teacher and three samples of students from class X. This service consists of the initial stage, the core stage and the final stage. Service activities are carried out as many as one meeting which is carried out in the classroom. Implementation of service activities runs effectively, where students show the development of a good understanding of the dangers of smoking behavior. The student's response was quite good, seen from the activeness of students when attending and watching the sociodrama that was displayed. The difficulties felt by students in the process of implementing the service existed in a fairly short time and most students did not want to be a group of sociodrama players. The obstacles faced by BK teachers are time, infrastructure and some students who are still shy and awkward so they must be given direction. Keywords:Group Guidance, Sociodrama Techniques, Smoking Behavior.Keywords:

Abstract

Self-awareness dan kesadaran tanggungjawab merupakan aspek penting terhadap perkembangan perilaku etis anak, karena itu penting bagi anak untuk dapat memiliki kedua aspek tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merepresentasikan perbedaan self-awareness dan kesadaran tanggung jawab anak dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan perilaku etis. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi korelasional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Merdeka Soreang tahun 2021. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self-awareness dan kesadaran tanggung jawab. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment. Hasil hitung diperoleh nilai p < 0,05, karena nilai p < 0,05 (hipotesis alternative (Ha) “tidak terdapat pengaruh self-awareness dan kesadaran tanggung jawab anak dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan perilaku etis” diterima. Hasil penelitian diperoleh simpulan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan self-awareness dan kesadaran tanggung jawab anak dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan perilaku etis, dimana kedua variabel tersebut saling mempengaruhi. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai bahan pengayaan baik secara teoretik maupun praktik terhadap pengaruh perbedaan self-awareness dan kesadaran tanggung jawab anak dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan perilaku etis anak

Abstract

One aspect of the success of students being able to achieve self-welfare is resilience. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social skills and social support on student resilience. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 10 Bengkulu. The research design used the one-short model correlation method. Data collection uses a scale of social skills, social support, and resilience. The instrument validity test uses the product-moment coefficient, and the reliability test uses the Cronbach alpha coefficient. Data analysis used prerequisite tests and hypotheses. The results showed that (1) the linear regression equation resulted in a constant value of 29.11; (b) the regression coefficient of 6.28; (2) the value of the correlation coefficient is 0.72; (3) the value of the coefficient of determination is 51.84%. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between social skills and social support on student resilience at school (Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected). Suggestions and recommendations, for further researchers, are expected to reveal the role of social skills and social support as factors forming student resilience
