Abstract

PT Kabelindo Murni Tbk. is a company involved in the industry of manufacturing electrical cable, telecommunication cable, and cable utilities. Nowadays, the company is implementing distribution system which is based on the partnership with the expedition company by using three kinds of transportations. The system is facing a problem where the transportation rental cost is high for each delivery to main distributors. This research proposes two new alternatives of distribution transportation system. The first alternative is to buy new batch of transportation for the company based on the currently rented transportation capacity. In the other hand, the second alternative is with route planning and rearrangement of delivery order of the current system. The use of company transportation is arranged with Saving Matrix, which is done with the goods weight and transportation volume. The proposed distribution system is done based on the minimum cost of both alternative systems. The result shows that the current transportation rental system has the lower cost compared to the first alternative with the total cost Rp 196.200.000,00. The cost difference between the first alternative of the current system with the second alternative is Rp 202.467.482,00. The chosen system is the second alternative, using the transportation rental service to deliver to four distributors in Jakarta, Bekasi, and Tangerang.

Abstract

Taman Hutan Raya (TAHURA) Ir. H. Djuanda Bandung is an integrated conservation area in which there are secondary natural forests that have various kinds of flora and fauna. Macrofungi are fungi whose fruiting bodies can be seen directly without the aid of a microscope, heterotrophic, and ecologically act as decomposers of organic matter (decomposers) and as biological control agents. Data related to research results on macrofungi in the Tahura area is still limited and need more comprehensive research. This study aimed to inventory, determine the growth factors, and potential utilization of macroscopic fungi. Observations were carried out during the period of November 2021 - April 2022 using exploration method. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Macrofungi identification process was carried out based on morphological characters such as cap, stalk, and lamella, The environmental factors observed included air humidity, soil pH, temperature, and type of substrate. The results showed that as many as 83 species were found in the Protection block, 50 species were found in the Collection block, and 99 species were identified in the Utilization block from the phyla Basidiomycota and Ascomycota. The macrofungi found have potential as biodegradation agents, food ingredients, non-food ingredients, drugs, antimicrobials, antioxidants, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory.

Abstract

The authors conducted this research using a qualitative approach based on the background and issues discussed. The aim of this research is to broaden our understanding of the phenomena faced by the research subjects. This type of qualitative descriptive research is used in this study to reveal facts, symptoms, or incidents about the service effort given by a Hope Family Program officer to a recipient of aid in Mandalamukti Village, West Bandung Prefecture. The Hope Family Program (PKH) is a social protection policy created by the government to reduce poverty in Indonesia. It gives basic rights to people through the implementation of social protection centralized in the household. PKH started in Cikalong Wetan district in 2012. Initially, there were 2,138 Beneficiary Families (KPM) in 13 villages. Currently there are 617 KPM in Cikalong Wetan, indicating that the number of KPMs has decreased for some reason. Field research shows that DTKS uses data to target government aid recipients, but there are people who are jealous of feeling worthy of help. Contrary to the information obtained from interviews with the escort of the PKH, escort of PKH Village Mandalamukti stated that the circle corresponds to the results of DTKS data.

Abstract

Abstract

The quality of service in hospitals is one of the important factors that influences patient satisfaction and hospital operational efficiency. Workload, work environment, and work ethic are factors that can influence the quality of services provided by health workers. Excessive workload can cause stress and fatigue, while a supportive work environment and good work ethic can increase employee motivation and performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, work environment, and work ethic on the quality of service at BaliMed Karangasem Hospital. The method used was analysis using primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 122 respondents, consisting of nurses and midwives. The analysis used includes univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis. The research results showed that the majority of respondents had a high workload (78.7%), a good work environment (75.4%), a good work ethic (86.1%), and good service quality (76.2%). In multivariate analysis, workload (AOR=7.271, p=0.006) and work ethic (AOR=7.243, p=0.002) were found to have a significant influence on service quality, while work environment did not have a significant influence. The results of this research suggest that hospitals pay attention to managing workloads in a more balanced manner and support increasing work ethics to improve the quality of services provided to patients. Future research is recommended to explore other factors that can influence service quality, such as management support and skills training.
