Abstract

Thinking about kalam is very important for all, especially academics. Aside from beig historical data, it can also be used as a source of knowledge, so it can be applied to current and future lives. One of the kalam thinkers in Indonesia is KH. Hasyim Asy’ari. This research is done by a qualitative approach, the source of information obtained from the library (library research). The autor faund that Hadratusy Syaikh Hasyim Asy’ari is a charismatic people and nation,s best son. His thinking about kalam was influenced socio-historical conditions when he lived. Among these are various reform teachings from reformers for the Indonesian Muslim Community, in addition to the presence of the invaders. From these conditions he established the pesantern and NU organizations. Together with the to organizations, kiai Hasyim issued a fatwa on jihad and the elimination of seven controversial word in the Piagam Jakarta.

Abstract

Quality and equitable education for Indonesian children is a major capital to get out of the multidimensional crisis. Our nation today has been bored with the phenomenon of poverty that is mainly due to ignorance. The phenomenon should be taken seriously by the government by making policies aimed at creating a good and equitable quality of education for the community. If we look at the current reality that teachers having not met the national standard qualification are about 65%. There have been many teachers not in accordance with their field of expertise, and the main factor is the distribution of teachers mainly centered in urban areas. This is due to the limited ability of the government in improving the welfare of teachers. The government also seeks to put the teachers' status in their ideal position. Teachers' Profession in Law No. 14 of 2005 on Teacher and Lecturer is a profession that is the same as that of doctors, accountants, and Psychologists. To that end, teachers must have a certificate, so they must participate in any certification tests. The law stipulates that the professions of teacher and lecturer are highly respected and their presence is guaranteed. That means teachers and lecturers have been protected by a single legal umbrella that is not easy to change. It also guarantees the authority, self-development, prosperity, recruitment and transfer of teachers and lecturers.

Abstract

Nowadays, the fundamental problem is the growing tradition of Islamic thought, which is accepted dogmatically. This causes the closure of creativity and innovation to develop these traditions under the human experience development so that contemporary issues are not resolved. Therefore, it is necessary to have a critical methodology that uses a multidisciplinary approach, namely understanding Islam using various scientific disciplines, including philosophy of science, socio-social science, and natural sciences (science). With this multidisciplinary approach, Islamic studies are expected to accept criticism from various parties, both insiders and outsiders. An Islamic civilization that is cosmopolitan, full of love, tolerant, and upholds pluralism, human rights, and women's dignity will be realized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis pemikiran pendidikan multikultural Ki Hajar Dewantara dalam tinjauan Alquran. Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar yang dilakukan seseorang dalam mengembangkan dirinya menjadi insan yang sempurna, sementara keragaman masyarakat menuntut agar pendidikan mampu menyesuaikan dengan kultur yang ada sehingga memerlukan penegasan tentang pendidikan yang multikultural, hal ini juga menjadi salah satu konsen dari pemikiran Ki Hajar Dewantara. Gagasan pendidikan multikultural tersebut dielaborasi lebih lanjut dengan beberapa konsep yang terdapat pada Alquran. Penelitian ini termasuk kategori deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan, dengan pendekatan kajian tokoh, guna mendalami dan menganalisa gagasan Ki Hajar Dewantara, khususnya tentang pendidikan multikultural. Pengumpulan datanya dengan studi dokumentasi dan kepustakaan, sedangkan untuk analisanya mengunakan analisis isi atau content analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: pertama, menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan multikultural adalah Pendidikan yang menitikberatkan pada penegasan, pengesahan, penanaman kesadaran, pengembangan akhlak setiap warga Negara agar memiliki adab, persaudaraan, tolong-menolong, serta menumbuhkan sikap toleransi dalam hidup berdemokrasi (musyawarah dan dialog). Pendidikan multikutural dalam pandangan Ki Hajar Dewantara merupakan pendidikan yang sangat menjunjung tinggi berbagai budaya yang terdapat di nusantara. Kedua, berbagai asas-asas pendidikan multikultur yang menjadi isi atau materi pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara tersebut diatas juga selaras dengan berbagai nilai yang terdapat dalam Alquran, diantaranya: QS. Ali Imron ayat 64 tentang prinsip musyawarah dan demokrasi, QS Al-Nisa ayat 131 tentang persaudaraan, QS. Al-Baqoroh ayat 256 tentang kebebasan memeluk agama, QS al-Maidah ayat 69 tentang pengakuan agama lain selain Islam, dan QS Al-Hujurat ayat 13 tentang humanis dan toleransi.
