Abstract

This research is based on the problems that exist at junior high school 28 padang, namely the learning model that is less varied, students' learning competencies are still low. Efforts that can be done are applying thelearning model teams games tournament (TGT) with scientific literacy in the  Respiratory  system material at 28 Padang Junior High School. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of thelearning model that Teams Games Tournamen (TGT) contained scientific literacy to the learning competencies of Grade VIII students of 28 SMP Negeri Padang. This research is an experimental research with randomized control group posttest only design. The study population is the students of class VIII Junior high school 28 padang 2018/2019 academic year which spread into nine classes. Sampling research using simple random sampling. The results were selected class VIII.3 as experimental class and class VIII.5 as a control class. The hypothesis in this study was tested using the t-test. The results of the study using the t-test it can be concluded that the competency of students' knowledge of the value of tcount 3,34> ttable 1.67, in the competency attitude the value of tcount is 1,84> ttable 1.67, and the competence of value skills tcount 1,85> ttable 1.67. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of TGT models with scientific literacy can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class VIII students of junior high school 28 Padang.

Abstract

The research problem at Junior High School 29 Padang is the science learning process that takes place centered on the teacher, the low learning competency of the students, has not used a learning model that contains sains literacy, and low scientific literacy skills. Efforts that can be done are applying the problem solving learning model with scientific literacy. This research was conducted at Junior High School 29 Padang in material of KD 3.6 about additives and addictive substance. This research is an experimental research using the Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. The study population was all grade VIII students of Junior High School 29 Padang. Sampling was taken by using purposive sampling technique. Class VIII.3 as the experimental class and class VIII.5 as the control class. The instruments used in the form of posttest questions, observation sheets. The research instrument used was a test of learning outcomes. The research instrument used was a test of learning outcomes. The results of the t test were known that in the knowledge competency tcount> t table (3,02>1.67). the attitude competency tcount> t table (5.38>1.67) and the skills competency tcount> t table (4,39>1.67). This showed that the hypothesis was accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of a problem solving model with scientific literacy on additives and addictive substance can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of Junior High School 29 Padan students.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is based on the problems that exist in SMPN 18 Padang, students learning competencies are still low. Efforts that can be made are applying the learning model Power of Two with scientific literacy on digestive system material at SMPN 18 Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the competency of students through the model The power of twowith scientific literacy in the material of human digestive systems in SMPN 18 Padang.This type of research is experimental research with a randomized control group posttest only design. The population in this study were all class VIII SMPN 18 Padang registered in the 2018/2019. Sampling was done using technique Simple Random Sampling, which was chosen as the sample of the study was class VIII.6 as the experimental and  VIII.7 as the control class. The instruments used were in the form of questions posttest for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for attitude and skills. The hypothesis was tested using the t-test, can be concluded that the competence of learners knowledge tcount 5,72> ttable 1.67, the competence of attitude  value tcount 1,84> ttable 1,67, and the competency of skills value tcount 3.39> ttable 1.67. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. Concluded that the application of model The power of two with scientific literacy can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class VIII students of SMPN 18 Padang. Keywords: the power of two,  scientific literacy, learning competency

Abstract

The efforts that can be done are applying the talking chips model with science literacy to the students at Junior High School 20 Padang on the material of climate change and its impact for the ecosystem. The purpose of this research is to find out The Effect of Talking Chips model containing science literacy on students’ learning competencies in the material of climate change and its impact on ecosystems at Junior High School 20 Padang. This research is quasi-experimental research with design randomized control-group posttest only design. The population used was all class VII students’ of Junior High School 20  Padang 2018/2019. Sampling was done using the cluster sampling technique, we selected VII.2 as experimental class and class VII.7 as control class. Based on the results of the students' competency knowledge research  tcount 2.85 > ttable 1.67, the competency attitudes tcount 1.78 > ttable 1.67, and the skills competency tcount 1.78 > ttable 1.67. It showed the hypothesis is accepted. Application of the talking chips model containing science literacy can improve the competencies of class VII students of Junior High School 20 Padang.

Abstract

The Research problems at SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping are students having difficulty in formulating problems, analyzing and finding solutions to difficulties in the learning process, leadership and motivation, level of activity and student learning in the learning process is still low and learning models that are rarely used and are still centered on the teachers. Efforts that can be done are implementing the learning model course review containing science literacy at SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping. The purpose of this study was to study the improvement of knowledge competencies, attitudes and skills of students through a horay review course model with scientific literacy at SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a posttest randomized design control group design. The study population was all class X SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping registered in the 2018/2019 school year controlling three classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The research hypothesis evaluates using the t-test. Conclusions of the study about the application of the learning model course review horay with science literasy the learning competenci of knowledge, attitudes, skills of class X students of SMAN 2 Lubuk Sikaping

The efforts that can be done are to implement a time learning model that contains scientific literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of apply the cooperative learning model type make a match on the learning competency of students' in Solok 1 Junior High School. This type of research was experimental research with a randomized control group posttest only design. The population in this study were all class VII Solok 1 Junior High School registered in the 2018/2019. Sampling was done using Purposive Sampling techniques. VIIg as the experimental class and VIIfas the control class. The instruments used were in the form of posttest questions for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for attitude and skills competencies. Based on the results of the study using the t-test it can be concluded that the knowledge competencies of students t count 4,53 > t table 1.67, the attitudes  competency t count 2,18> t table 1.67, and the skills competency tcount 5,93 > t table 1.67. it shows that the hypothesis was accepted. So, the application of the cooperative learning model type make a matchcan improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class VII students of  Junior high school 1 Solok.

Abstract

Research on the problems that exist in Padang 15 Public Middle School, student learning competencies are still low. The effort that can be done is to apply the cooperative learning model with the speaking stick type with literacy content of SMP 18 Padang. The purpose of this study was to study student learning through a cooperative model of speaking stick type with literacy at SMP 15 Padang. This type of research is experimental research with randomized posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP 15 Padang registered in 2018/2019. Sampling was done using the Simple purposive Sampling technique, which was chosen as the research sample was class VIII.3 as the experimental class and VIII.2 as the control class. The instrument used consisted of posttest questions for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for competencies and skills. The assessment hypothesis using the t-test, can prove the knowledge competency  tcount 2.27> ttable 1.67, competency assessment value 80% with good categories and competency skills value tcount 3.5> ttable 1.67). This is an accepted hypothesis. It was concluded that the cooperative model of speaking stick type with literacy opposed the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class VIII students of SMP 15 Padang.

The efforts that can be done are to implement a time learning model that contains scientific literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the time token model with scientific literacy on the learning competency of students' in Batusangkar 1 Senior High School. This type of research was experimental research with a randomized control group posttest only design. The population in this study were all class X MIPA Batusangkar 1 senior high school registered in the 2018/2019. Sampling was done using Purposive Sampling techniques. X MIPA 2 as the experimental class and X MIPA 1 as the control class. The instruments used were in the form of posttest questions for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for attitude and skills competencies. Based on the results of the study using the t-test it can be concluded that the knowledge competencies of students t count 3.41> t table 1.67, the attitudes  competency t count 5.95> t table 1.67, and the skills competency tcount 2.34 > t table 1.67. it shows that the hypothesis was accepted. So, the application of the time token model with scientific literacy can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class X students of  senior high school 1 Batusangkar

Abstract

Researcher conducted a study with the aim to determine the quality of items in terms of analysis: 1) reliability, 2) the validity of the content and empirical, 3) distinguishing features, 4) level of difficulty, and 5) the function of detractors. This research is a descriptive study. Based on the results of data analysis, the result for the review of aspects: 1)reliability packet A and B, belong to the category high,2)the validity of the content packet A & B, not fulfilling all criteriaand then validity empirically package A, 57.5% are invalid matter and packet B,65% are invalid matte, 3) the level of difficulty package A, 27 questions (67,5%) good category and 13 questions (32,5%) not good category while package B, 27 questions (67,5%) good category and 13 questions (32,5%) not good category. 4) different power packet A, obtained with different power values, namely 35 questions (87,5%) including good categories and 5 questions (12,5) which do not belong to the good category while package B, 29 questions (72,5%) is included in category and 11 questions (27,5%) which do not belong to category, 5) function options packet A, for options that are not qualified is 37% and the quality is 63% and packet B,for options that are not qualified is 31% and the quality is 69%. It can be concluded that the end of the semester exam subjects biology grade XI of the school year 2017/2018 in the se-kecamatan IV Jurai not meet both criteria.
