Abstract

The aim of this research are: to describe the process of development and instructional instruments of cooperative learning type STAD with Microsoft Power Point Ispring on topic parallelogram, the kite and trapezium at SMP Class Seven. The Subject of this research is SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Surabaya in class seven at year 2013-2014, tow parallel class are VII A an VII B. The model of development teaching material for this research is use 4-D Thiagarajan’s development instructional model. The development process consist of four phases, those are define, design, develop, and disseminate. Instructional instruments that developed are lesson plan, students work sheet, achievement test and the microsoft power point ispring media learning. The researches instrument are used validation’s instructional instruments sheet, observational sheet of student’s activities in learning, observational sheet of teacher ability to manage the instruction, and the quotioner of students responses. The instructional instruments that has been developed by the next one will be seen whether already as instructional instruments that was good that is an equipment that could support learning process so as the aim that it was hoped could be reached and be equipment pembelajaran that was developed in accordance with the development procedure of instructional instruments and met (1) Valid that is has divalidasi by the expert and filled the minimal criterion valid. (2) was tested, by filling the criterion: (a) the teacher's capacity managed pembelajaran was classified as effective (b) the Activity of the student was classified as active (c) the positive Criterion for the student's response to pembelajaran and the completeness of studying results in a classical manner was reached (d) the results Test studied met valid, reliable and sensitive. Based on the analysis in the development stage, was received by the conclusion that instructional instruments cooperative model mathematics the STAD type with the media Microsoft PowerPoint Ispring learning to material parallelogram, the kite and the trapezium in the SMP Muhammadiyah 13 VII classes filled the good criterion was based on results of the validation of the expert and results of the test that filled conditions that were determined that is, (1) the activity of the student during pembelajaran effective; (2) the teacher's capacity in managed learning process effective; (3) the student's response to pembelajaran active and the completeness of studying results in a classical manner was reached; and (4) the results test studied that was used sensitive, valid, and reliabel.

Abstract

Modul merupakan salah satu alternatif alat bantu mengajar yang mendukung pembelajaran mahasiswa. Namun, masih banyak modul yang belum sesuai dengan kondisi mahasiswa. Selama ini modul cenderung digunakan untuk pencapaian kognitif, menyampaikan materi, pemberian contoh soal, latihan, dan tes. Sehingga peran modul masih sebatas bagaimana mahasiswa dapat memahami suatu konsep/materi yang terkandung dalam modul tersebut tanpa memperhatikan bagaimana karakter yang muncul dalam diri mahasiswa. Dengan kata lain, modul hanya sebagai pengganti peran dosen sebagai sumber belajar dan pemanfaatan dalam pengembangan karakter mahasiswa masih kurang maksimal. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk menyusun modul pembalajaran aljabar linier dengan tahapan 4Me (Memahami, Menyelesaikan, Membandingkan dan mendiskusikan, serta Menyimpulkan) pada suatu topik permasalahan. Sementara secara khusus penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan karakter 4C’s mahasiswa melalui penggunaan modul pembelajaran dengan tahapan 4Me pada mata kuliah Aljabar Linier. 4C’s (Critical thingking and problem solving skills, Communication skills, Collaboration skill, Creativity and innovation skill) merupakan keterampilan yang perlu dikembangkan dalam rangka menghadapi kehidupan di era global dan abad 21. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model 4-D, dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa modul pembelajaran, RPP dan instrumen penilaian adalah baik/valid.

Abstract

Traffic jam is problems faced by many cities in Indonesia. The density of highways has caused the congestion. One solution is to use a traffic light. The existence of traffic lights help to curb road users, but in many cases, the use of traffic lights is less than optimal. It is about the determination of flow which should be red or green and how long it takes for each stream. To overcome these problems, the coloring application used graph approach is as a point of scheduling problem resolution. The algorithm used is Welch-Powell. The case of a traffic light that occurs from several points in the city of Surabaya, one of which, is at the crossroads of Jalan Ahmad Yani Giant. Secondary data is from the Transportation Department of Surabaya including the results of the analysis of two-way road speeds using the Moving Car Observation of 2014, the average speed of vehicles in the city of Surabaya in 2010-2014, and the volume of vehicles on Jalan Ahmad Yani Surabaya. Congestion in Surabaya is caused by the increasing number or volume of vehicles in each year that is not balanced with the capacity of the road. Public awareness for the use of public transportation is also lacking. This is because the public transportation in the city of Surabaya has not fully met the standards and many are not fit for use so that people prefer to use private transport. Congestion is also caused by the lack of regulation of traffic police at the point of congestion during rush hour. From the above discussion, the result shows that the use of coloring application Graph Theory with Welch-Powell algorithm has improved the effectiveness of traffic lights which is seen from the total duration of the green and red light.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP Muhammadiyah 13 adalah karena kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai materi matematika masih rendah dan keaktifan siswa dalam menjawab permasalahan masih rendah sehingga siswa cenderung pasif. Salah satu alternatif metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa, aktivitas siswa, respon siswa kelas VII-B SMP Muhammadiyah 13 dengan menggunakan metode Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving, meningkatnya kemampuan siswa dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisa data kemampuan siswa kelas VII B SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Surabaya dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan metode Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving. Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari siklus I dengan rata-rata , meningkat sebesar  dari nilai (UTS) semester genap dan dari siklus II meningkat  dari siklus I dengan rata-rata . Hasil analisis aktivitas siswa teliti dalam menyelesaikan masalah dengan memperoleh presentase terbesar, yaitu 20%. Respon siswa menunjukkan persentase 92,3% siswa berminat mengikuti pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic period learning in the schools become online, but at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Dukun learning is carried out online and face to face. The purpose of the study was to describe process and student learning outcomes after learning using the flipped classroom learning method with a scientific approach assisted by the whatsApp application in learning mathematics. This research was a quantitative study using a One Shot Case Study. The research was conducted in grade 10th of SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Dukun. The data collection methods used were observation, test, and questionnaire. The results of data analysis showed student activity in learning an average of 81.48% including active and moderately active categories. The implementation of learning by teachers with an average of 4.37 was in the good category. Student learning outcomes showed 81.48% of students declared complete KKM. Student responses to the process of implementing learning an average of 72% with positive category.

PENINGKATAN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA ANAK USIA DINI DENGAN MICROSOFT POWERPOINT ISPRING PADA MATERI PENGENALAN KONSEP BILANGAN Endang SupraptiProdi PAUD Universitas Muhammadiyah SurabayaDosen FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya AbstrakPengenalan konsep matematika di Taman Kanak-kanak  dapat  dilakukan melalui berbagai metode antara lain metode bercerita, tanya jawab, pemberian tugas, praktek langsung atau melalui berhitung. Permainan berhitung merupakan bagian dari matematika yang diperlukan untuk menumbuh kembangkan  keterampilan  pengenalan  konsep matematika yang bermanfaat untuk kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama mengenal lambang bilangan yang merupakan dasar bagi pengembangan kemampuan kognitif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pembelajaran matematika anak usia dini dengan Microsoft PowerPoint Ispring pada materi pengenalan konsep bilangan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (class action research) yang menggunakan metode campuran (mixing method) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kesimpulan: Permainan Media Microsoft Powerpoint Ispring merupakan alat permainan yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan matematika pada anak, dimana anak bermain mengenal konsep angka, serta anak  akan lebih  bisa  mengurutkan,  membilang, menghubungkan jumlah benda-benda dengan angka.Kata Kunci: matematika, Taman Kanak-kanak, Media Microsoft Powerpoint Ispring AbstractThe introduction of the concept of mathematics in kindergarten can be done through various methods such as storytelling, frequently asked questions, assignments, directly or through the practice of arithmetic. Counting game is part of the necessary mathematical skills to cultivate useful introduction to mathematical concepts to everyday life, especially knowing symbol number which is the basis for the development of cognitive abilities. The purpose of this research is to improve early childhood mathematics learning with Microsoft PowerPoint iSpring in material introduction of the concept of numbers. This study is a Class Action Researc that uses a mixed method (mixing method) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Conclusion: Microsoft Powerpoint iSpring Media Game is a game tool that can improve math skills in children, where children play familiar with the concept of numbers, and the child will be able to sort, count, connecting the number of objects with numbers.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan keterampilan proses belajar mengajar siswa kelas 10 dan 11 MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 10 MIA dan 11 MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah 28 siswa dan 15 siswa. Penelititian dilakukan selama satu kali siklus. Data penelitian terdiri atas hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran,hasil tertulis dan kemampuan berfikir kritis. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa siswi yang aktif berorganisasimemiliki nilai tersendiri dimata guru dan kemampuan nalarnya melalui  tingkat kritis dalam menanggapi masalah didukung dengan adanya organisasi Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) siswa kelas 10 dan 11 MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya.Katakunci : aktivis IPM, nalar kritis, siswaABSTRACTThis research is in the context of improving critical thinking skills and teaching and learning process skills of 10th and 11th grade students of Muhammadiyah senior high school of Surabaya. This research is a cualitative research and interview. The subjects of the study were students of grade 10 in mathematics and natural sciences and students of grade 11 in mathematics and natural sciences at Muhammadiyah senior high school of Surabaya in 2019/2020 with a total of 28 students and 15 students. The study was conducted for one cycle. The research data consisted of observations of the implementation of learning, written results and the ability to think critically. Data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that students who actively organize had their own values in the eyes of teachers and their ability to reason through a critical level in responding to problems supported by the organization of Muhammadiyah student associations of 10th and 11th grade students in mathematics and natural science at Muhammadiyah senior high school of Surabaya.Keywords: IPM activists, critical reasoning, students

Abstract

SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya menentukan nilai Standart Kelulusan Minimal (SKM) sebesar 75 untuk mata pelajaran matematika. Saat ini rata-rata nilai matematika pada beberapa siswa masih di bawah Standart Ketuntasan Minimal (SKM) salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru. Sehingga siswa masih belum memahami konsep matematika secara maksimal Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memngetahui pengaruh penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII pada pelajaran matematika di SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya, peningkatan hasil belajar pada khususnya. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) karena dalam penelitian ini dilakukan fase-fase tertentu untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kelas penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-C. Dari Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-C SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya. Terlihat dari rata-rata nilai Ulangan Tengah Semester (UTS) siswa ke Siklus I yang memperoleh rata-rata 78,44 atau meningkat sebesar 15,15%. siklus I ke siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 79,25 atau meningkat sebesar 1,03%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan dan mengelaborasi pengaruh pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dengan media Wondershare Quiz Creator terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada kelas VIII-B SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode True Experiment dengan model Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data tes dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest, dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru, serta angket respon peserta didik dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasilnya (1) Berdasarkan uji t didapatkan rata-rata skor tes akhir pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol; (2) Aktivitas peserta didik paling dominan terjadi adalah aktivitas berpartisipasi dalam menyelesaikan masalah dengan berdiskusi bersama kelompok dengan persentase sebesar 37%; (3) Aktivitas guru mendapat skor rata-rata 3,72 yang berarti sangat baik; dan (4) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran positif dengan skor 95,6%. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran reciprocal teaching berbantuan wondershare quiz creator berpengaruh positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Square Board Media with Quantum Learning model on learning outcomes, student and teacher activities and student responses in class VII-D students of Muhammadiyah 2 Junior High School Surabaya. This research is a type of quantitative research with the True Experimental method. The design used in this study is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Samples taken were 52 students consisting of 26 experimental class students and 26 control class students. The results showed that the average final test score in the experimental class was better than the average test final score in the class control; (2) The most dominant student activity occurs is the activity of students "discussing with groups and actively participating in activities" with a percentage of 33%; (3) Teacher's activity in managing learning gets an average score of 3.5 with very good criteria; and (4) Student responses to learning showed that ≥ 90 students respond positively. Thus, it can be concluded that mathematics learning with Square Board Media has a positive and significant effect on class VII-D students of Muhammadiyah 2 Junior High School Surabaya .
