Abstract

The number of visits is decreasing because in addition to the impact of the pandemic, but visitors' interest in staying at the Pade Hotel Aceh has also decreased. Friendly and responsive service can increase guest satisfaction. Location is a key factor influencing stay decisions, while hotel facilities also play an important role in determining customer comfort and satisfaction. This study aims to identify the effect of service quality, facilities, and location on stay decisions at the Pade Hotel Aceh. There were 100 respondents in this study where participants included all visitors who stayed at Pade Hotel Aceh. The results showed a significant influence of Service Quality and Location on visitors' Staying Decisions. Meanwhile, the Facility factor proved to have no significant effect on the Staying Decision. The measurement of the representation of this research variable is 66.2% so it is necessary to consider other additional factors related that can influence visitors' decisions to stay. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has ushered in shifts in tourist behavior, impacting their preferences for tourist attractions and activities (Kemenparekraf, 2023). Tourists now gravitate towards serene and picturesque settings in villages, at the foothills of mountains, or within pristine environments like forests in national parks. This trend has notably bolstered the advancement of ecotourism in Indonesia. Statistics indicate a significant preference for glamorous camping or glamping among tourists (45.9%), surpassing the choice of resort accommodations (24.7%) (Kemenparekraf, 2023). However, these transformations come with adverse effects, notably the disruption of the tranquil ambiance cherished by local residents due to the influx of tourists, leading to clashes between diverse cultures and traditional customs (Joseph & Maiwa, 2011). Concurrently, local perceptions of tourism significantly shape its development. Thus, this study aims to scrutinize people's perceptions of natural tourist destinations, specifically focusing on Situ Gunung. By analyzing data from 10 interview sources using techniques like word frequency and contextual analysis, this research identifies factors influencing local community perceptions of tourism, including age, length of stay, involvement in tourism activities, and personal experiences.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembangunan desa wisata tidak hanya bermodalkan pemandangan alam saja, tetapi kontribusi masyarakat dalam mendukung kegiatan pariwisata sangat diperlukan. Keunikan sebuah desa wisata adalah indikator penting dalam mengembangkan dan sekaligus menjadi daya tarik bagi wisatawan. Penelitian ini sepenuhnya dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Kreativitas dari masyarakat lokal dalam mengemas potensi yang ada membutuhkan dukungan dari pemerintah. Tradisi lokal, kreativitas dan inovasi merupakan indikator yang harus di dukung oleh pemangku kepentingan di desa wisata. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat di suatu destinasi dapat menentukan keberlangsungan kegiatan wisata yang berkualitas. Kegiatan wisata yang berkualitas yang dimaksud adalah pelestarian nilai-nilai lokal dan budaya yang berbasis pada masyarakat dan di dukung penuh oleh pemangku kepentingan terkait untuk menciptakan kepuasan wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk keterlibatan masyarakat, pengembangan desa wisata Gedepangrango, dan rencana keberlanjutan desa wisata melalui partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui focus group discussion dan wawancara kepada pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat pelaku wisata, serta observasi lapangan di desa wisata Gedepangrango. Sementara data sekunder dilakukan melalui pengumpulan dokumen terkait fokus penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) masyarakat lokal telah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan wisata, namun menemui keterbatasan dalam menciptakan kreativitas seperti pembuatan paket-paket wisata ayang menarik, (2) pengembangan prosuk-produk lokal sudah yang menajadi ciri khas lokal sudah berjalan, namun mengalami keterbatasan dalam pengemasan dan standarisasi, (3) rencana keberlanjutan desa wisata Gedepangrango di dukung sepenuhnya oleh pemerintah desa dan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaku wisata di desa wisata Gedepangrango perlu pendampingan dalam mengembangkan dan menciptakan kreativitas yang dapat menarik kunjungan wisatawan. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peran masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis komunitas sebagai bagian dari strategi keberlanjutan, meliputi partisipasi masyarakat, pengembangan dan rencana keberlanjutan desa wisata. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang dapat berfokus pada analisis implementasi program pelatihan berkelanjutan, peningkatan daya saing UMKM, dan studi mengenai dampak jangka panjang pariwisata berbasis komunitas terhadap kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Selain itu, masyarakat memiliki kesadaran akan peluang dan kesiapan menangkap manfaat yang dapat dikembangkan dari kegiatan pariwisata untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat. Abstact The development of tourist villages is not solely reliant on natural scenery; community contributions in supporting tourism activities are essential. The uniqueness of a tourist village is a key indicator for development and serves as an attraction for tourists. This study was conducted entirely using a qualitative approach. The creativity of the local community in packaging existing potentials requires government support. Local traditions, creativity, and innovation are indicators that should be supported by stakeholders in tourist villages. Active community participation at a destination can determine the sustainability of quality tourism activities. Quality tourism activities here refer to the preservation of local values and culture, based on the community and fully supported by relevant stakeholders to create visitor satisfaction. This study aims to assess forms of community involvement, the development of the Gedepangrango tourist village, and the sustainability plan of the village through community participation. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with primary and secondary data collection. Primary data collection was carried out through focus group discussions and interviews with local government and tourism community actors, as well as field observations in the Gedepangrango tourist village. Secondary data were obtained through document collection related to the research focus. The findings of this study indicate that (1) the local community has participated in tourism activities but faces limitations in creating appealing tourism packages, (2) the development of distinctive local products has been progressing, though there are constraints in packaging and standardization, and (3) the sustainability plan of the Gedepangrango tourist village is fully supported by the village government and community. Based on the results, it is evident that tourism actors in the Gedepangrango tourist village need assistance in developing and creating attractions that can attract visitors. This research emphasizes the importance of community involvement in developing community-based tourism as part of the sustainability strategy, including community participation, development, and sustainability planning for tourist villages. It provides a strong foundation for future studies that could focus on analyzing the implementation of sustainable training programs, enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs, and examining the long-term impact of community-based tourism on the economic well-being of local communities. Additionally, the community demonstrates awareness of opportunities and readiness to capture benefits that can be developed from tourism activities to improve their economic well-being. Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini pengelola bisnis khususnya bidang wisata perlu mempunyai ketrampilan untuk melakukan pemasaran digital untuk memperluas pasar agar jumlah tamu yang menginap dapat meningkat. Kegiatan pengabdian pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan pengelola homestay di desa wisata Sawarna agar mempunyai pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam memanfaatkan media digital saat ini dan media social untuk meningkatkan jumlah tamu yang menginap. Metode yang digunakan dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan teknis untuk membantu pengelola homestay memahami dan menggunakan teknologi digital seperti situs web, aplikasi pemesanan, dan manajemen reservasi online. Membantu pengelola homestay dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan media sosial untuk mempromosikan homestay mereka, seperti dengan mengatur kontes foto atau video, membagikan cerita tamu, dan memperbarui secara teratur dengan informasi terbaru. Kegiatan diikuti oleh dua puluh orang pemilik dan pengelola homestay dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2024. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan pemasaran digital meningkat. Namun demikian perlu diusahakan pemasaran alternatif lainnya untuk mendukung peningkatan jumlah tamu yang menginap di homestay.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-marketing and competitive environment on marketing performance. In this study using a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique. The number of samples selected was based on the capacity as a Cireng product business actor who experienced the sales process directly, and competition in marketing Cireng. The number of samples selected is thirty people who are Cireng business actors in Jakarta. The results show that e-marketing has a positive and significant effect of 21,3 % on marketing performance. Likewise, the competitive environment variable which has a positive and significant effect of 61,9 on marketing performance. Cireng business actors as a product of MSMEs need to pay attention to the competition that occurs around their business, in addition to increasing marketing on social media so that consumers can know and have more confidence in quality Cireng products.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of inclusive education and inclusive tourism in Gedepangrango Tourism Village, Sukabumi, with the aim of reducing socio-economic disparities and supporting sustainable community development. Gedepangrango, which has a rich cultural and natural heritage, has the potential to develop inclusive tourism, but faces challenges in accessibility for the community, both in terms of infrastructure and educational facilities. This study aims to analyze how inclusive education can improve access to education for all groups, and how the synergy between inclusive education and inclusive tourism can support local economic empowerment. Additionally, this study identifies major barriers such as limited resources, infrastructure, and public awareness. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results show that although initial steps towards the implementation of inclusive education and tourism have been taken, further development of more accessible infrastructure and increased public awareness are crucial. This study recommends enhanced training for educators, the construction of more disability-friendly infrastructure, and a more inclusive approach to tourism in order to reduce social disparities and strengthen long-term economic resilience in Gedepangrango.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan untuk memperkuat kapabilitas pemasaran dan branding di Desa Wisata Sawarna. Pelatihan ini diadakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan para pelaku pariwisata lokal dalam mempromosikan desa wisata Sawarna secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Melalui program pelatihan ini, peserta dibekali dengan pengetahuan tentang konsep dasar branding, teknik pemasaran digital, penggunaan media sosial, dan strategi pengembangan konten yang menarik. Pendekatan praktis dan studi kasus diterapkan untuk memberikan gambaran nyata tentang tantangan dan peluang dalam pemasaran desa wisata. Pelatihan ini juga menekankan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan budaya lokal dalam setiap aktivitas pemasaran, sehingga keberlanjutan pariwisata dapat tercapai. Dengan penerapan strategi yang tepat, diharapkan Desa Wisata Sawarna dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, memperkuat citra positif di mata publik, serta mengoptimalkan potensi ekonomi lokal secara berkelanjutan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi fondasi yang kuat bagi pengembangan pariwisata yang lebih inovatif dan bertanggung jawab di Desa Wisata Sawarna, sekaligus menginspirasi desa-desa wisata lainnya untuk mengikuti langkah yang tepat dalam mengembangkan sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran strategis pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam meningkatkan daya saing industri pariwisata, khususnya di kawasan pesisir Carita, Kabupaten Pandeglang. Transformasi industri pariwisata pasca-pandemi dan percepatan digitalisasi menuntut penguatan kapasitas SDM yang adaptif, profesional, dan berbasis keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara mendalam, FGD, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap 15 informan kunci dan 20 peserta diskusi kelompok. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik dengan bantuan perangkat lunak NVivo 14. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesenjangan kompetensi SDM antara wilayah perkotaan dan kawasan pesisir menjadi hambatan utama dalam pengelolaan destinasi wisata. Meskipun tersedia infrastruktur wisata yang memadai, rendahnya literasi digital, keterampilan pelayanan, dan akses pelatihan menyebabkan kualitas layanan belum optimal. Strategi penguatan SDM yang kolaboratif melibatkan pemerintah, industri, dan komunitas serta pendekatan pelatihan berbasis proyek dan digitalisasi kontekstual terbukti mampu meningkatkan kapasitas dan partisipasi masyarakat lokal. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penyelarasan program pelatihan dengan kebutuhan lokal, serta perlunya model pembangunan SDM pariwisata yang inklusif, digital, dan berbasis komunitas sebagai fondasi menuju destinasi wisata berdaya saing dan berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Sumber Daya Manusia, Daya Saing Destinasi, Pariwisata Pesisir, Digitalisasi, Pemberdayaan Komunitas. ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the strategic role of human resource (HR) development in enhancing the competitiveness of the tourism industry, particularly in the coastal area of Carita, Pandeglang Regency. The post-pandemic transformation of the tourism sector and the acceleration of digitalization demand the strengthening of HR capacity that is adaptive, professional, and sustainability-oriented. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and document analysis involving 15 key informants and 20 FGD participants. Data were analyzed thematically using NVivo 14 software. The findings reveal that competency gaps between urban and coastal areas pose significant challenges to effective destination management. Although tourism infrastructure is relatively adequate, limited digital literacy, service skills, and training access hinder the optimization of service quality. Collaborative HR strengthening strategies—engaging government, industry, and communities—combined with project-based training and contextual digitalization have proven effective in enhancing local community capacity and participation. These findings underscore the need for aligning training programs with local needs and highlight the importance of inclusive, digitally adaptive, and community-based HR development models as a foundation for building competitive and sustainable tourism destinations.Keywords: Human Resources, Destination Competitiveness, Coastal Tourism, Digitalization, Community Empowerment

Abstract

The phenomenon of overtourism has become a significant issue in tourism management in Bali, particularly in areas such as Canggu, Kuta, Ubud, Kintamani, and Penglipuran Village. The post-pandemic surge in tourist arrivals has brought positive economic impacts, but it has also exerted pressure on the environment, infrastructure, and the social and cultural life of local communities. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The primary aim of this research is to examine the condition of overtourism in Bali and analyze the management efforts undertaken by local governments. The findings indicate that the management of overtourism remains suboptimal. There is a need for the implementation of the carrying capacity concept and visitor management strategies to prevent further degradation. The recommendations provided include limiting the number of tourists, ensuring a more even distribution of visits, involving local communities in policy-making, and strengthening sustainable tourism regulations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis potensi pengembangan sumber daya manusia dalam sektor pariwisata di Dusun Katiet, Desa Bosua, Kecamatan Sipora Selatan, Pulau Sipora, Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Studi kualitatif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam tidak terstruktur dan Focus Group Discussion dengan berbagai pemangku kepentingan lokal, termasuk pejabat pemerintah, fasilitator desa, dan kepala desa. Hasil pengumpulan dan analisis data primer menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Katiet memiliki potensi pariwisata yang signifikan terkait surfing, komunitas lokal belum sepenuhnya terlibat dalam kegiatan pariwisata. Infrastruktur pariwisata yang belum memadai dan kurangnya keterampilan masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan industri pariwisata menjadi tantangan utama yang dihadapi komunitas tersebut. Namun demikian, temuan ini juga mengungkapkan kesediaan yang tinggi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan lokal melalui pelatihan, pendidikan, dan dukungan kelembagaan yang tepat. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya penguatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia dalam konteks pariwisata untuk mendorong pengembangan berkelanjutan di Mentawai. Dengan memfokuskan pada pelatihan dan pendidikan, serta meningkatkan kerjasama antar pemangku kepentingan, penelitian ini berpotensi untuk memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pembangunan berkelanjutan dan kesejahteraan komunitas lokal. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini dapat membantu mendukung upaya untuk membangun kapasitas lokal dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan potensi pariwisata secara berkelanjutan di daerah ini.Kata Kunci: Analisis SOAR; Pariwisata Berkelanjutan; Pelatihan dan Pengembangan; Sumber Daya Manusia; Wisata Pesisir
