Abstract

This study aims to describe the type of coherence in the column of crime story of Tribun Jambi March edition. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Research Data is obtained by using documentation techniques. The data on this research is a sentence which contains of types of coherence, namely; cause and effect, addition, process, spatial, and indefinites. The source of the data is in the form of news text in the column of crime story of Tribun Jambi newspaper. Based on the results of the data anaylsis, it is found that there are 543 types of coherence in the crime story column of Tribun Jambi March edition 2019. There are 20 quotations of cause and effect which are characterized by three conjunctions, such as maka, jadi, and, sebaliknya. There are 293 types of addition coherence which are characterized with six conjunctions i.e. dan, selain itu, baik, maupun, serta, and di samping itu. There are 128 types of process coherence which are characterized with two conjunctions namely dengan and tanpa. There are 83 types of spatial coherence which are characterized by six conjunctions i.e., lalu, kemudian, setelah itu, pada saat itu, sebelumnya, and sementara itu. There are 19 quotations of indefinites coherence which are marked with four conjunctions i.e. bukan hanya, bahkan, selanjutnya, and lalu. Thus, it is found that the addition coherence as the dominant type which occurs in the column of crime story in Tribun Jambi newspaper March edition 2019. While the least coherence found in the data is indefinites coherence.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the quality of service provided to Batara Savings customers at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Jambi Branch, customers’ decisions to save, and the influence of service quality on these decisions. The study uses a survey method, which is an investigation aimed at obtaining facts and factual information related to social, economic, or political institutions (Mohamad, 2003: 56).The survey approach is explanatory, where the collected data is analyzed to explain causal relationships or correlations between variables and test hypotheses. Data analysis was conducted using simple regression with hypothesis testing through the t-test statistical method.The results show that service quality significantly influences customers’ decisions. This is indicated by the value of t-calculated > t-table and a significance level (p-value) < 0.05. A correlation value of 0.991 indicates a very strong relationship between service quality and customers’ decisions. Therefore, service quality is proven to be a crucial factor in influencing customers’ decisions to save at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Jambi Branch.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, English plays a key role in many areas, including economics, politics, culture, communication, and education. Therefore, in response to this, English is very important to be mastered in Indonesia. The ability to listen to dialogue is one of the important language skills to be mastered by students. The ability to listen to student dialogue in Indonesia is still relatively low. The purpose of this study was to know student’s ability on listening to dialogue at the first semester in Islamic University on Indragiri. The sample of this study semester 1 English Study program, it means there are 22 students in round 5 male and 17 female. Sampling was carried out using purpose sampling. This study used a qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of the study the mean score of 61.37 categorizes most students as "Average to Good". Notably, no students were classified as "Poor".  Despite general strengths in comprehension and recall, many students face difficulties in understanding implied meanings and interpreting speaker intent. These findings highlight the importance of implementing tailored teaching strategies and creating supportive learning environments to enhance students' listening skills and academic success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pengembangan literasi keuangan dan perpajakan berbasis website pada platform digital Wijatax dalam mendukung pencapaian pilar pendidikan dan teknologi sebagaimana tercantum dalam Asta Cita Nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana. Data diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden pengguna platform Wijatax. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan literasi keuangan dan perpajakan melalui website Wijatax memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat dalam aspek keuangan dan perpajakan. Nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel serta nilai signifikansi < 0,05 membuktikan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,684 menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 68,4% variasi pemahaman literasi keuangan dan perpajakan dipengaruhi oleh pemanfaatan website Wijatax. Dengan demikian, penguatan konten edukatif dan interaktivitas digital menjadi kunci strategis dalam memperkuat peran Wijatax sebagai sarana pendidikan berbasis teknologi sesuai arah kebijakan Asta Cita.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas konten edukasi perpajakan yang disajikan melalui platform digital Wijatax, yaitu website dan Instagram, dalam meningkatkan literasi perpajakan Generasi Z di Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 70 responden yang merupakan pengguna aktif media sosial Wijatax. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana, uji korelasi, dan uji-t dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas konten edukasi perpajakan Wijatax berada dalam kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,89, sedangkan tingkat literasi perpajakan responden juga termasuk baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,86. Hasil regresi menunjukkan persamaan Y = 2,078 + 0,856X, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,871 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara variabel. Nilai koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R Square) sebesar 0,758 menunjukkan bahwa 75,8% variasi literasi perpajakan dipengaruhi oleh efektivitas konten Wijatax. Uji-t menunjukkan nilai t hitung 11,963 lebih besar dari t tabel 1,995, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kedua variabel.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konten digital perpajakan Wijatax efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi perpajakan Gen Z, namun aspek interaktivitas dan frekuensi unggahan masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan strategi komunikasi edukatif perpajakan yang lebih optimal dan relevan dengan karakter generasi digital.
