Abstract

Local Microorganisms (MOL) can be produced from the fermentation of existing materials circled around and easy to be able to. One of the waste that can be considered as MOL is the skin of pineapple (Ananas comosus  L.) because it has a fairly high nutrient content (Rao, 1994). Therefore it is necessary to research its effectiveness on cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.). This research aims to determine the effectiveness of local microorganisms from pineapple skin and the proper dose in the provision of local microorganisms from the skin of pineapple to the growth and results of cucumber crops. This study uses a single-factor complete random draft (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 times repeated to get 20 units of trial. The treatment used is D0 (NPK 10 gr), D1 (MOL 75 ml/L water), D2 (MOL 100 ml/L water) and D3 (MOL 125 ml/L air) crop. The results showed that local microorganisms (MOL) of pineapple skin still have not effectively increased the growth and outcome of cucumber crops. Giving local microorganisms only affects the number of branches of cucumbers. The provision of chemical fertilizer NPK Pearls 10 gr/cropping has the best average results on the observation of the number of leaves, the number of branches, length of fruit and the number of fruits.

Abstract

Waste baglog or media for planting mushroom is the rest of te mushroom cultivation process unused again, so tat it can be used as compost. one of the important role of compost is creating soil fertility. Both the nature of the physical, biological, and chemical properties of the soil. Utilization of waste as an oyster mushroom growing media compost in this study was applied to plant okra. This study used a Randomized Complete Design (RAL), single factor with 5 treatment rooms, 4 times repeat, so come by 20 units of the experiment. The treatment is a k0 : soil control, k2 : 10 kg soil +  500 g soil/compost baglog waste plant, k3 : 10 kg soil + 750 g soil/compost baglog waste plant and k4 : 10 kg soil + 1000 g/compost baglog waste plant. Research results show that compost waste white oyster mushroom cropping media gives influence to the time of the first harvest, the amount of fruits per plant, average fruit length and weight of fruits per plant. Awarding waste composting treatment media white Oyster Mushrooms cropping rate of 500 g/plant gives the best results for harvest time first, the average amount of fruit, fruit length and weight of fruit per plant

Abstract

PGPR is biological product which it has functions as growth improved, nutrition provided, pest control and it can be plant growth acceleration. Chicken manure is an organic fertilizer which it can improving soil fertility and it can be plant growth acceleration. Ultisols is a easier erosion soils, therefore it has less of an organic matter and nutrition. Soybean is one of foodstuff which always increasing of necessary year by year. The pupose of this research was knowing an interaction of the treatments and the best treatments of PGPR and chicken manure towards growth and yield of soybean which planted on ultisols soil of Batakan. This research was using Split Plot Design two factor of treatments. First factor is PGPR concentration (J) as the main of plot, it has 4 levels there is control (J0), 7,5 ml PGPR/l of water (J1), 15 ml PGPR/l of water (J2) and 22,5 ml PGPR/l of water (J3) and the second factor is chicken manure (H) as the sub plot, it has 3 levels there is control (H0), 10 t/ha-1 (60 g of soybean) (H1) and 20 t/ha-1 (120 g of soybean) (H2). This research showed all of variable has not interaction between PGPR and chicken manure. The best treatment of PGPR is on 15 ml/l of water concentration (J2) towards plant’s height and towards harvest age. While, on treatment of chicken manure 20 t/ha-1 (H2) is the best dosage of plant height, root nodus, pods of plant and 100 of seeds weight.

Abstract

Arthropods or commonly known as segmented animals are closely related to the cultivation of plants such as vegetables. This is because arthropods can act as pests or natural enemies for plants. The existence of pests and natural enemies can be affected by various conditions, one of which is soil fertility. The use of rice straw bokashi in red spinach cultivation is expected to provide information on whether rice straw bokashi has an effect on the diversity level of arthropods in red spinach cultivation. This study used the RAK method (Randomized Block Design) 1 factor, consisting of 5 treatments with 4 groups, with a total of 20 experimental units in the form of J0: negative control, J1: positivecontrol (NPK Mutiara), J2: Bokashi 4 t.ha-1, J3: Bokashi 5 t.ha-1, J4: Bokashi 6 t.ha-1. From the observations obtained 12 arthropod orders, namely aranae, diptera,  lepidoptera, blattodea, hemiptera, coleoptera, isoptera, orthoptera,  hymenoptera, polydesmides,  odonata and spirostrepsids. The results showed that the administration of bokashi in various doses had no effect on the diversity, dominance, evenness and richness of arthropod species in red spinach. The diversity index is in the medium criteria, the dominance index is at the low criterion, the evenness index is at the high criterion, and the species richness index is at the low criterion.

Abstract

Jagung Manis Merupakan tanaman yang sangat digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia karena rasanya yang manis dan banyak mengandung karbohidrat. Tanaman ini layak dibudidayakan karena memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Salah satu perilaku petani di Banjarbaru dalam pemberian pupuk NPK sangat bergantung pada tingkat kesuburan tanaman jagung manis, apabila tanaman jagung manis terlihat kurang baik maka petani akan meningkatkan dosis pupuk NPK yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi dan pupuk mana yang terbaik antara NPK, pupuk kandang, campuran NPK dan pupuk kandang berdasarkan kebiasaan petani di Banjarbaru terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jagung manis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Kota Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan pada bulan Mei - Agustus 2020. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan secara berurutan. untuk mendapatkan 20 unit eksperimen. Setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 40 tanaman. Parameter pengamatan dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun dan waktu kemunculan bunga jantan. Pemberian pupuk NPK, pupuk kandang, campuran NPK dan pupuk kandang berdasarkan perilaku petani di Banjarbaru terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jagung manis Berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun umur 5 WAP dan 6 MST, panjang daun 2 MST, lebar daun berumur 6 MST dan 7 MST serta waktu kemunculan bunga jantan, tetapi tidak mempengaruhi tinggi tanaman. Perlakuan terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jagung manis adalah J3 yaitu 10 ton / ha kotoran ayam + 0,1 ton / ha pupuk NPK.

Abstract

The cucumber plant (Cucumis sativus L.) is a plant that has the advantage of being cultivated, because it can be marketed both domestically and abroad. Cucumber production is still very low, an average of 10 tonnes ha-1. In an effort to increase cucumber yields, it is necessary to have precise cultivation tecniques, the use of the right dosage fertilizers (organic and inorganic), superior varieties and spacing. Trichokompost is a form of compost organic fertilizer which contains the antagonistic fungi Trichoderma sp which can support plant growth. Meanwhile, NPK fertilizer itself is a compound fertilizer containing complete nutrients needed by plants during their growth period. This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction between trichocompost and NPK fertilizers on the highest cucumber yield and to determine the dosage of trichocompost and NPK fertilizers wihch can produce cucumber fruit. This study uses a 2-factor RAK. The first factor was the trichocompost dos with 3 treatment levls, the two factor was the NPK fertilizer dosage which consisted of 3 treatment levels, so that 9 treatment combinations were obtained. until treatment was repeated 3 times, in order to obtain 27 units. This research was conducted in February-April 2020 at the Experimental Field of the Banjarbaru Faculty of Agriculture. The study indicated that application of trichocompost and NPK fertilizers at different doses had an effect on cucumber yields (number and weight of cucumber) on a single factor. The best combination of dosage treatments for the number of cucumber fruit plants is in the T220 treatment (Trichokompos 480 grams / plant). While the best combination of dosage treatments for fruit weight was found in N1 treatment (NPK dose of 48 grams / plant).

Abstract

Prospek serapan pasar terhadap komoditas jagung manis akan terus meningkat sejalan dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk, karena itu komoditas jagung manis harus dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dan memenuhi permintaan pasar. Permasalahan yang sering timbul pada tanaman jagung manis yakni, ketidakseimbangan keanekaragaman antara hama dan musuh alami yang berdampak pada produktivitas hasil jagung manis yang disebabkan penggunaan dosis pupuk NPK dan pupuk kandang yang tidak sesuai. Faktor abiotik dan biotik juga dapat mempengaruhi keanekaragaman hama dan musuh alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui status keanekaragaman hama dan musuh alami pada tanaman jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) yang diberi pupuk NPK, pupuk kandang, kombinasi pupuk NPK dan pupuk kandang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok satu faktor dengan empat perlakuan yang terdiri dari J1 = Kontrol, J2 = 10 ton/ha pupuk kandang, J3 = 100 kg/ha NPK + 10 ton/ha pupuk kandang, J4 = 100 kg/ha NPK + 20 ton/ha pupuk kandang. Variabel pada pengamatan ini yaitu tingkat keanekaragaman hama dan musuh alami yang terperangkap, dilakukan sebanyak 1 kali setiap minggu yaitu dimulai pada  minggu ke 2 setelah tanam pada tanaman jagung manis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat status keanekaragaman hama dan musuh alami pada tanaman jagung manis sedang, perlakuan yang paling efektif terdapat pada perlakuan J2, karena pada perlakuan J2 tidak berbeda nyata dengan J1 (kontrol), J3 dan J4, baik pada indeks keanekaragaman, kekayaan jenis, kemerataan jenis dan indeks dominasi, hal ini karena penggunaan pupuk NPK, kandang dan kombinasi tidak berbahaya bagi organisme dilingkungan tersebut, melainkan perlakuan tersebut berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pertumbuhan yang berdampak pada ketertarikan hama dan musuh alami. pemberian pupuk yang sesuai akan menentukan kelimpahan jenis hama dan musuh alami dalam suatu ekosistem. Hal ini dikarenakan ekosistem tersebut dapat memberikan makanan yang cukup bagi hama dan musuh alami untuk berkembang biak Fitriani (2016).
