Abstract

This survey aims to determine the extent of understanding and knowledge of the women and the poor people about the importance of their involvement in the development and their understanding of their rights to participate in development through Musrenbang, as well as their expectations about the next steps. This survey focused on women and the poor in Konawe as the sample and population who have been determined from several representative that representing several districts of UNDP work areas (5 districts). The survey results indicate several things, namely: a) the term "musrenbang" (development planning) is popular among women and the poor. They often follow it; b) less than half of women and poor people who know the importance of musrenbang; c) the majority of women and poor people approve musrenbang but not all of them to assess the programs that have been planned and implemented able to address the problems of women and the poor; d) mostly women and poor people are not satisfied with their participation in development. Abstract

The quality of education is the ultimate goal of a teaching and learning process. This study aimed to examine the extent to which principal leadership and teacher performance could affect the quality of education at Junior High School level, both individually and concurrently. The research was conducted in Junior High School in Konawe regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The primary data was collected from 88 respondents. This study revealed that: 1) there is a significant effect of principal leadership on the quality of education at Junior High School; 2) there is a significant effect of teacher performance on the quality of education; 3) there is a significant simultaneous effect of principal leadership and teacher performance on the quality of education. The principal leadership variable and teacher performance explained 30,8% of the total variance in quality of education. Thus, in order to improve the quality of education in general, principal and teachers should develop their professional skills.

Abstract

Mioma uteri adalah tumor jinak yang berasal dari otot polos rahim. Terbentuknya mioma uteri disebabkan oleh pengaruh genetik, hormonal, dan faktor pertumbuhan. Mioma uteri memengaruhi wanita secara emosional dan dapat berkontribusi pada ketakutan tentang kesehatan mereka secara keseluruhan dan kemampuan mereka untuk mengendalikan gejala dan kehidupan mereka. Masalah psikososial yang dialami oleh wanita dengan mioma uteri salah satunya yaitu harga diri rendah. Tujuan dari studi kasus ini adalah mengetahui efektifitas intervensi logoterapi dalam mengatasi harga diri rendah situasional pada pasien dengan mioma uteri. Metode pada penelitian yang dilakukan ini yaitu deskriptif dengan studi kasus pada klien dengan mioma uteri melalui proses asuhan keperawatan. Penelitian dilakukan di ruangan Alamanda RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin kota Bandung. Peneliti memberikan intervensi logoterapi pada masalah keperawatan harga diri rendah situasional. Terdapat peningkatan harga diri setelah diberikan intervensi logoterapi. Logoterapi efektif dalam membantu seseorang untuk mencapai aktualisasi diri, memberikan makna pada kehidupan saat ini dan masa depan dengan harapan dapat memiliki keadaan yang lebih baik. Intervensi logoterapi dapat direkomendasikan sebagai intervensi keperawatan untuk masalah harga diri rendah situasional pada karakteristik yang berbeda.

Abstract

Penggunaan kontrasepsi merupakan tanggung jawab bersama dalam keikutsertaan berkeluarga berencana, serta berperilaku seksual yang sehat dan aman bagi dirinya, pasangan dan keluarganya. Bentuk partisipasi suami dalam penggunaan kontrasepsi dapat dilakukan secara langsung dan tidak langsung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan suami menjadi akseptor KB di Kecamatan Unaaha Kabupaten Konawe Tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasi analitik pendekatan case control. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah semua pria yang ikut serta dalam berKB di Kecamatan Unaaha selama tahun 2022 dan tercatat dalam data sebagai peserta KB di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Konawe. Jumlah sampel yang ditetapkan adalah sebanyak   106   orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan keikutsertaan suami menjadi akseptor KB pria, ada hubungan antara sikap dan keikutsertaan suami menjadi akseptor KB pria, ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan keikutsertaan suami menjadi akseptor KB pria dan variabel yang paling dominan berisiko tidak ikut sertanya suami menjadi akseptor KB pria adalah variabel dukungan keluarga karena nilai Exp (B) paling besar yaitu 21,388 kali berisiko jika suami memiliki dukungan keluarga yang buruk. Serta memilki nilai p-value yang paling kecil yaitu 0,019.Kata kunci : Faktor; keikutsertaan suami; akseptor KB

Abstract

Perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja meningkat pesat dan menjadi masalah kesehatan di dunia, terkhusus di Indonesia. Hasil survei Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Konawe Utara (Konut) tahun 2018 menemukan sebanyak 17,3% remaja pernah melakukan petting 5,3% remaja pernah melakukan hubungan seksual melalui oral 3,6% remaja melakukan hubungan seksual melalui vagina 2,5%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan perilaku seks pranikah remaja di SMN Negeri 1 Lembo Kabupaten Konawe Utara. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa-siswi di SMA Negeri 1 Lembo Kabupaten Konawe Utara berjumlah 325 siswa, sedangkan sampelnya sebanyak 176 reponden yang ditentukan dengan rumsu lameshow. Sampel penelitian ini diambil menggunakan probability sampling. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi logistik berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap perilaku seks pranikah sebesar 0,018, religiusitas sebesar 0,001, teman sebaya sebesar 0,000, dan teknologi (media sosial) sebesar 0,000. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dukungan keluarga, religiusitas, teman sebaya dan teknologi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku seks pranikah remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Lembo Kabupaten Konawe Utara. Disarankan kepada sekolah untuk melakukan eduksi terhadap siswa mengenai kesehatan reproduksi, sedangkan bagi orang tua diharapkan dapat melakukan pengasan serta memberikan kasih sayang kepada remaja.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Setiap asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan wajib dilakukan pendokumentasian yang jelas, valid, dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber informasi. Permasalahan terkait kualitas dokumentasi merupakan isu penting dalam manajemen keperawatan diberbagai rumah sakit di seluruh Indonesia. Tujuan Penelitian: penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan supervisi kepala ruangan dan pelatihan perawat dengan kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan di RSUD Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Bahan dan Metode: Rancangan penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional dengan uji statistic chi-square. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat pelaksana dengan jumlah 58 orang. Hasil/temuan: nilai P value supervisi kepala ruangan < α 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,00 dan P value pelatihan < α 0,05 sebesar 0,00. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan supervisi kepala ruangan dan pelatihan dengan kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan di RSUD Kabupaten Buton Selatan, sehingga disarankan kepada pihak manajemen untuk memaksimalkan pelaksanaan supervisi kepala ruangan dan menambah pengetahuan perawat dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan  melalui pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the extent of ability of English teachers in implementing the 2013 curriculum at SMK Negeri 1 Kendari. This study applied a qualitative research method with descriptive approach. The respondences of this study were four English teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Kendari who have implemented the 2013 curriculum. The data was obtained by conducting observation, interview and documentation. The data was analyzed through four phases. They were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusion. The results of this study showed that in the aspect of planning of learning, English teachers have compiled an independent lesson plan, developed from the 2013 curriculum syllabus. This was indicated by the achievement value based on the APKG sheet results which was 90 and was categorized as very good. In the aspect of implementation of learning, the English teachers have applied a scientific approach. This was indicated by the achievement value based on APKG sheet results which was 87 and was categorized as very good. In the aspect of assessment of learning, teachers have implemented authentic assessments and follow-up learning outcomes. This was indicated by the achievement value based on the APKG sheet results which was 78 and was categorized as good.Keywords:English Teachers Ability; Implementation; 2013 Curriculum

Abstract

This quasi-experimental study examined the impact of online English learning on achievement and motivation for Grade 11 students, comparing it to traditional classroom methods. Seventy-two students from SMA 2 Raha participated, with the experimental group undergoing online learning while the control group followed traditional methods. Pre- and post-tests revealed a significant improvement in the online group's achievement (p < 0.05), with a higher average gain score compared to the control group. Notably, within the online group, females showed a slightly higher average gain score (33.42) than males (27.37), indicating a gender difference. Motivation, assessed via questionnaires, indicated higher reported motivation among females (80.3%) compared to males (72.2%) in the online environment. These findings highlight the effectiveness of online English learning in enhancing overall student achievement, with females potentially experiencing a slight advantage in both achievement and reported motivation in this specific context.

Abstract

Flipped classroom is considered to be capable of addressing two classical constraints pertaining to the teaching of writing in an EFL context – limited time for classroom interaction and limited exposure to the target language. However, our current understanding of its true effectiveness with respect to students’ learning outcomes and learning motivation relative to conventional teaching is still in its infancy. In fact, reviewing the literature, it becomes immediately clear that many of the claims in favor of flipped classroom are based primarily on anecdotal, rather than empirical evidence. The present study sought to compare students’ learning outcomes and their motivation as a result of attending two different modes of instruction: conventional task-based face-to-face classroom and task-based flipped classroom. Conducted with students at SMAN 4 Kendari, the study employed a matching pre-post comparison group, involving two cohorts: experimental group (44 students) and control group (42 students). These students were recruited using a purposive sampling technique. The statistical analysis of independent samples t-test suggests that students attending flipped classroom significantly outperform those studying conventionally, p 0.00 < 005. Additionally, it was also found that students attending flipped classroom are significantly more motivated than their counterparts studying conventionally. All in all, a flipped strategy has resulted in both improved learning and motivation of the students. Implications of these findings will be critically discussed in this paper.Keywords: Flipped classroom; Conventional learning; Mode of delivery; Writing; Motivation

Abstract

The quality of education is the ultimate goal of a teaching and learning process. This study aimed to finding out a significant influence of principal leadership and teachers’ performance on the quality of education at Junior High School level and to identify dominant factors affecting the quality of education. This research was conducted in Junior High School in Konawe regency. This is a mix method research using a survey for quantitative data and observations as well as interview for qualitative data. The primary data was collected from 88 respondents, while the secondary data was from related documents. This study revealed that 1) there was a significant influence of principal leadership on the quality of education at Junior High School level. Based on significance test, it was obtained that t value counted for 5.486 compared with table t values with probability 0.05 of 1,991 where the value of t count ≥ t table then Ho1 rejected; 2) there was a significant influence of teachers’ performance on the quality of education. Based on its significance test, it was obtained that t value counted for 2.306 ≥ t table value of 1,991 where t count ≥ t table then Ha2 accepted; 3) there was a significant influence simultaneously between principal leadership and teachers’ performance on the quality of education. It was based on Anova Test results that F count was 18,955 with significance level 0,000 < probability value α 0.05 while F table according to the level of significance 0.05 (2;86) of 3.10 so that F counted > F table (18,955 > 3.10), therefore, Ho3 rejected. The contribution of the principal leadership variable and teacher’s performance on the quality of education was 30,8%. In order to achieve a quality of better education, principal and teachers should develop their professional skills.
