Abstract

Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi komunikasi persuasif guru terhadap kepercayaan diri dan motivasi belajar siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP Islam Al-Ulum Terpadu Medan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara acak (random sampling) dengan jumlah sampel terpilih sebanyak 78 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala komunikasi persuasif guru, skala kepercayaan diri, dan skala motivasi belajar. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA).Analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi positif antara komunikasi persuasif dan kepercayaan diri. Diketahui pula bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang positif antara komunikasi persuasif dan motivasi belajar. Secara spesifik, diketahui bahwa dalam penelitian ini, komunikasi persuasif guru tergolong tinggi, kepercayaan diri siswa tergolong sedang, dan motivasi belajar siswajuga tergolong sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang hubungan antara keyakinan diri dan kemandirian dengan kematangan vokasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa/i SMK Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi jurusan Perhotelan karena para alumni menunjukkan tingkat vokasional rendah yang dominan setelah lulus dan dihadapkan dengan dunia karir. Subjek yang dipilih adalah para siswa/i yang duduk di kelas X dengan proses pemilihan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Sebanyak 120 siswa menjadi subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga skala yaitu skala keyakinan diri, kemandirian, dan kematangan vokasional. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Dari hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keyakinan diri dan kemandirian dengan kematangan vokasional dimanasumbangan efektif kedua variabel (keyakinan diri dan kemandirian) sebesar 81,2%. Kesimpulan penelitian dapat dijadikan dasar pertimbangan bagi pendidik sekolah untuk memberikan motivasi, pengarahan dan pemahaman kepada siswa bahwa keyakinan diri dan kemandirian dapat meningkatkan kematangan vokasional siswa.

Abstract

The study aims (1) to determine the effect of social interaction on students’ moral judgment; (2) to determine the effect of gender role as woman on students’ moral judgment; (3) to determine the effect of social interaction and gender role as woman on students’ moral judgment. The population of this study are students of class XI SMAN 12 Medan amounted to 344 students. The study sample consisted of 135 students, especially woman who were selected using quantitative research and the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Collected using the moral judgment scale used is Defining Issues Test (DIT), social interaction scale, gender role as woman scale. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results show that (1) there is no significant effect of social interaction on students’ moral judgment which is indicated by the coefficients rx1.y = 0.077 and p = 0.373 0.05, It means there is no effect of social interaction on students’ moral judgment; (2) there is no  significant effect of gender role as woman on students’ moral judgment which is indicated by the coefficients rx2.y = 0.028 and p = 0.746 0.05; (3) there is no significant effect of social interaction and gender role as woman on students’ moral judgment which is indicated by the coefficients rx1.x2.y = 0.087 and p = 0.608 0.05. The percentage of contributions given by social interaction and gender role as woman is 0,8 %. The remaining 99,2 % is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the relationship between authoritarian parenting style and emotional maturity with student’s  aggressive behavior. The subject of this research is students grade VIII in SMP Negeri 2 Medan as many as 60. Data analisys was used multiple linear regression.The result of this research showed that : (1) There is  correlation authoritarian parenting style with aggressive behavior, with coefficient   rx1y = 0.384, p = 0.001. It means  higher authoritarian parenting style then it will be the higher aggressive behavior. The effectice contribution is 14.7% and remaining 85,3% is influenced by other factors not examined.    (2) There is no  correlation  emotional    maturity with aggressive behavior, with coefficient  rx2y = 0.358,         p = 0.003. It means  lower emotional maturity no significantly followed by the high aggressive behavior. (3) There is  correlation betweeen authoritarian parenting style and emotional maturity with aggressive behavior, with coefficien  r = 0.449;  p = 0.002   with p 0,010. It means authoritarian parenting style and emotional maturity influence aggressive behavior with effectice contribution is 20,20%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan konseling individual dengan pendekatan client centered terhadap Etika Bergaul siswa di kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: apakah ada pengaruh layanan konseling individual dengan pendekatan client centered terhadap Etika Bergaul siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pra Eksperimen dengan one group pre-test dan post-test design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa kelas X IPA 2 yang memiliki skor terendah yang telah dibagi angket etika bergaul siswa, dan akan diberikan layanan konseling individual dengan pendekatan client centered. Hasil analisis diperoleh dat pre-test siswa rata-rata = 228 termasuk katagori tinggi dan Standart Deviasi (SD) = 4,358, sedangkan hasil data post-test rata-rata = termasuk kategori rendah dan Standart Deviasi (SD) = 7,57. Teknik uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji Wilxocon yang memperoleh hasil Thitung= 4,55sedangkan harga Ttabel=3,182. Dari tabel nilai kritis T utuk uji jenjang bertanda wilcoxon untuk n =  3,  sesuai dengan kriteria penerimaan dan penolakan hipotesis, hipotesis diterima jika Thitung > Ttabel. Dengan demikian dinyatakan ada pengaruh layanan konseling individual dengan pendekatan client centered terhadap Etika Bergaul siswa di kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Dengan demikian hipotesis diterima Kata Kunci : Konseling Individual; Pendekatan Client Centered; Etika Bergaul

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of OCB motives for HMJ FIP Unimed administrators. This research is a quantitative descriptive research that is ex post facto. The study was conducted on samples taken in total from the research population totaling 115 students of HMJ FIP Unimed management. OCB motif data collection uses a Likert scale and data analysis uses calculations that are not generalizations, but apply to research subjects. The results showed that the overall OCB motive of HMJ-HMJ administrators at FIP UNIMED was at a sufficient level. Based on the aspects of the OCB motive, it is known that the OCB motive in the prosocial aspect and the concern for the organization of HMJ FIP Unimed is of low level, while in the aspect of impression management it is at a sufficient level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan adanya data empirik tentang Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) di dalam kelompok belajar mahasiswa Prodi BK FIP UNIMED, untuk tindakan preventif dan kuratif OCB. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat OCB, OCB-I, dan OCB-O di dalam kelompok belajar pada mahasiswa Prodi BK FIP UNIMED. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bersifat ex post facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 192 orang mahasiswa Prodi BK FIP UNIMED, diambil secara total dari populasi yang terdiri dari 97 orang mahasiswa semester IV Tahun Angkatan 2019 dan 95 orang mahasiswa semester VI Tahun Angkatan 2018. Penelitian dan penyususunan laporan dilakukan pada bulan Juni sampai November 2021. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Likert, dan analisis data menggunakan perhitungan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat OCB di dalam belajar pada mahasiswa Prodi BK FIP UNIMED secara menyeluruh termasuk cukup dengan pencapaian rata-rata 3,40. Tingkat OCB-I di dalam kelompok belajar termasuk cukup dengan pencapaian rata-rata 3,41, dan tingkat OCB-O termasuk cukup dengan pencapaian rata-rata 3,39. Apabila dilihat berdasarkan dimensi-dimensi OCB diketahui bahwa dimensi yang termasuk tinggi adalah pada dimensi conscientiousness dengan pencapaian rata-rata 4,06,  dimensi courtesy dengan pencapaian rata-rata 4,32, dan dimensi cheerleading dengan pencapaian rata-rata 4,13. Dimensi yang termasuk cukup memadai adalah dimensi altruism dengan pencapaian 3,30, sportsmanship dengan pencapaian rata-rata 3,93. Dimensi yang termasuk rendah adalah dimensi civic virtue dengan pencapaian rata-rata 1,64 dan dimensi peacemaking dengan pencapaian rata-rata 2,43

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer social support and self-regulation in learning on resilience. The population is 200 students with 3 classes and the sample is 166 with random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect between peer social support on resilience, where the coefficient rx1y = 4.382 with p = 0.000, this means that the better peer social support, the better the resilience. The coefficient of r squared peer social support with the dependent variable of resilience is r2 = 4.382. This shows that resilience is formed by peer social support with a contribution of 12.80%. In the variable of self-regulation in learning with resilience there is also a significant positive relationship where the coefficient rx2y = 18,072 with p = 0.000, this means that the better self-regulation in learning, the better resilience. The coefficient of r squared self-regulation in learning with the dependent variable resiliency is r2 = 0.870. This shows that resilience is formed by self-regulation in learning with a contribution of 67.10%. Similar results came from the variables of peer social support and self-regulation in learning with a significant positive influence resiliency where the coefficient r = 0.894 with p = 0.000 means p <0.010. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the predictors of peer social support, self-regulation in learning with the dependent variable resilience is r2 = 0.799. This shows that resilience is formed by self-regulation in learning and peer social support together with a contribution of 79.90%.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to determine the effect of sense of humor on academic resilience; (2) To determine the effect of compassion on academic resilience;(3) To determine the effect of sense of humor and compassion on academic resilience. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study were Syiah Kuala University students with a sample of 158 students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The measuring instruments used in this study were the sense of humor scale (SHQ), the self-compassion scale (SCS) and the academic endurance scale (ARS-30). Data analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that (1) there was a significant positive effect between sense of humor and academic resilience as seen from (Rxly) = 0.413 with P = 0.000 < 0.050 meaning that there was a positive influence between sense of humor and academic resilience; (2) there is a significant positive effect between self-love and academic resilience as seen from (Rxly) = 0.277 with P = 0.000 < 0.050 meaning that there is a positive influence between self-love and academic resilience; (3) there is a significant positive effect between sense of humor, self-love and academic resilience as seen from (Rxly) = 0.460 with P = 0.000 < 0.050 meaning that there is a positive influence between sense of humor, self-love and academic resilience. The percentage of contribution given by the simultaneous influence of sense of humor and self- compassion on academic resilience is 21.1%. The remaining 79.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: To determine the effect of playing puzzles and PAUD teacher social support on the resilience of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Kenanga Raya Medan for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research method is a quantitative descriptive correlational type by placing the research variables in two groups, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The population of this research is PAUD Kenanga Raya Medan children. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique with the selected sample size of 30 children, the data collection method used the puzzle playing observation sheet and the parental social support observation sheet, and the child resilience observation sheet. Analysis of research data shows that (1) there is a significant effect between playing puzzles on the resilience of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Kenanga Raya Medan as indicated by a significance value of 0.047<0.05; (2) there is a significant effect between teacher social support on the resilience of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Kenanga Raya, which is indicated by a value of 0.034 <0.05; (3) there is an effect of playing puzzles and teacher's social support on the resilience of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Kenanga Raya.
