Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi campur kode bahasa pada komunikasi antar budaya pada siswa MTs di Pesantren Al-Kautsar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengidentifikasi jenis campur kode bahasa yang digunakan pada komunikasi antar budaya. 2) untuk menemukan fungsi campur kode yang digunakan pada komunikasi antar budaya. 3) ) untuk mengidentifikasi jenis arti budaya sosial yang digunakan pada komunikasi antar budaya untuk menguraikan alasan-alasan campur kode yang digunakan pada komunikasi antar budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan  metode deskriptif  kualitatif. Jadi, transkrip dianalisis berdasarkan isi data (dokumentasi rekaman). Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 orang siswa dengan suku yang berbeda. Data merupakan ujaran-ujaran siswa dengan suku yang berbeda yang diambil dari lingkungan sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa jenis campur kode seperti; word insertion, phrase insertion, clause insertion, dan tag mixing digunakan oleh siswa dalam komunikasi antar budaya dengan suku yang berbeda. Word insertion adalah jenis campur kode yang dominan digunakan oleh siswa dalam percakapan sehari-hari. Dan setelah itu adalah tag mixing, phrase insertion dan clause insertion. Fungsi campur kode dalam komunikasi antar budaya adalah: 1) strategi komunikasi, 2) ungkapan perorangan atau komunitas, 3) gaya dan terdapat juga beberapa tipe makna budaya sosial yaitu: 1) sebuah kekompakan khusus kelompok, 2) keanekaragaman khusus,dan rasa harga diri. Dan alasan utama mereka mencampur kodekan bahasa daerah mereka adalah 1) untuk mengungkapkan solidaritas (keakraban), 2) interjeksi 3) menunjukkan identitas kelompok,dan 4) untuk memperlembut atau menegaskan sebuah permintaan atau perintah. Kata Kunci : Campur Kode dan Komunikasi Antar Budaya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the theory of inflation according to al-Maqrīzī and ways to overcome it and determine the differences in inflation theory according to al-Maqrīzī with modern economics. Data collection techniques are used by collecting his works both personally and jointly and are traced by other people's work on figures as secondary data. Analysis of the data used is content analysis. This research shows that inflation is a natural phenomenon that afflicts the lives of people throughout the world from the past until now. Inflation will occur when prices generally increase and continue. The way to deal with inflation is to overcome it by eliminating the causes of inflation such as corruption, excessive taxation, and the creation of excessive currency. He emphasized the use of dinars and dirhams in dealing with inflation. Al-Maqrīzī thought is not inferior to those of Western economists from the 19th Century and 20th Century.

Abstract

This research originated from the low skills of grade IV SDN (public school) 1 Sigli students in writing short stories. Learning media to write short stories is an alternative means of delivering material to students through animated film media. This study aims to determine the improvement of short story writing skills using animated film media in fourth grade students of SDN 1 Sigli. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 24 students of grade IV SDN 1 Sigli, consisting of 12 female students and 12 male students. The data collection technique was done by using tests, observations, and field notes. The data analysis used was a comparative descriptive analysis technique. The results of data analysis showed that the acquisition of student learning outcomes with an average value in cycle I: 60%, cycle II: 80%, and cycle III: 91%. Thus it can be concluded, the use of animated film media can improve students' short story writing skills, and teachers always improve their skills in using instructional media. This can be seen from the cycles obtained by students in each cycle.

Abstract

This study investigated code mixing in cross-cultural communication of Junior High School students of Al Kautsar. The objectives of the study namely: 1) To identify types of code-mixing that used in cross-cultural communication. 2) To find out the function of code-mixing used in cross-cultural communication. 3) To identify types of socio-cultural meaning that used in cross-cultural communication.4) To elaborate the main reasons of code-mixing used in cross-cultural communication. This research was conducted by descriptive qualitative research. The participants were 10 students in different ethnic. The data were students’ utterances in different ethnic that have taken from school environment. The findings showed that several types of code mixing, i.e. word insertion, phrase insertion, clause insertion, and tag mixing occured in cross-cultural communication. Word insertion is dominantly mixed by the students in daily conversation. The function of code mixing in cross-cultural communication namely as; 1) communication strategy, 2) expression personality or community, 3) style. And there were some types of socio-cultural meaning in cross-cultural communication, they are:1) a unique group solidarity, 2) a special register, 3) self esteem. And the main reasons of using code mixing in cross-cultural communication were: 1) being emphatic something (express solidarity. 2) interjection. 3) expressing group identity 4) and to soften or strengthen request or command. Abstract

This study aims to find out how social media and social networks are developing at this time along with the rise of technology. The strategy used to find out is qualitative, namely looking for various sources such as searching in books, the internet and others. Social media and technological networks take many forms including magazines, internet forums, weblogs, social blogs, microblogging, wikis, podcasts, photos or pictures, videos, ratings and social bookmarking. A social network is a social structure made up of individual or organizational elements. This network shows the way in which they relate because of the similarity of sociality, starting from those who are known everyday to family. Social media and technological networks take many forms including magazines, internet forums, weblogs, social blogs, microblogging, wikis, podcasts, photos or pictures, videos, ratings and social bookmarking. The development of social media is really fast, this can be seen from the large number of members each of these social networking sites has, along with a table of the number of members for each site. Talking on social media seems endless. Several well-known social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter have become a way of life for modern society, both among children, adults and parents who have used these sites a lot. There are even those who are still underage using it.

Abstract

English lessons can officially be taught in Elementary Schools since the 1994 school year as a local content subject. Although in reality there are several schools that have programmed English lessons for their students who are in Study Groups and Kindergarten, or called Early Childhood Education. In this era of information and globalization, the government realizes the importance of the role of English and human resources who have the ability to communicate in English, which in Indonesia is a foreign language. As a forward-looking policy, the government has issued the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 1987 concerning the National Education System followed by Government Regulation Number 28 of 1990 which states about human resource development. English lessons need to be implemented early on, because with early English learning, children find it easier to develop English when they become teenagers, namely when children enter Elementary School, Junior High School or to a higher level, the English taught by the teacher will stick in their memory and it is difficult to forget it, compared to children who are not taught English when they are in kindergarten or PAUD. This study aims to obtain a deep and comprehensive understanding of the English language learning process for students.

Pemahaman tentang cara melakukan pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan Siswa Pramuka dalam melakukan pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan cara yaitu: pertama dilakukan pretest untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa Pramuka terkait pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan, kedua Pemberian materi tentang Penghentian perdarahan dengan cara pembalutan, Pembidaian untuk fraktur, Penanganan Korban pinsan dan mimisan serta Teknik Evakuasi Korban, ketiga dilakukan Praktek Peragaan Pertolongan Pertama sesuai dengan materi, keempat Post-test untuk mengevaluasi Pemahaman dan kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa pramuka tentang pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan dari pengetahuan kurang menjadi pengetahuan cukup

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using interactive media in enhancing students' listening skills in English. The research employs a library research method, which involves collecting and analyzing literature from journals, books, conference proceedings, and educational policy documents relevant to the topic. Data were collected from literature published in the last five years (2020–2023), focusing on interactive media, listening skills, and educational technology. The analysis reveals that the application of interactive media, such as videos, podcasts, and educational apps, significantly improves student engagement and motivation, while effectively enhancing listening abilities. Digital platforms, including podcasts and mobile apps, provide authentic, flexible learning experiences that are relevant to students' daily lives. Additionally, Android-based applications foster independent learning and enhance students' autonomy in managing their study time and environment. Based on these findings, it is recommended that educators integrate interactive media into the English curriculum to create a more engaging, effective, and technology-aligned learning environment

Abstract

A strong and superior character will determine how students think, behave, and act when participating in activities at school. This study aims to form the character of discipline and responsibility of students in extracurricular activities of the Youth Red Cross. This study is qualitative and descriptive. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: 1) How to instill knowledge about discipline and responsibility through the Youth Red Cross extracurricular. 2) How to instill feelings of discipline and responsibility in students through the Youth Red Cross extracurricular. 3) Habituation of discipline and responsibility in students through the Youth Red Cross is realized in routine training, both weekly and intended for all students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that instilling knowledge of discipline and responsibility character with the Youth Red Cross extracurricular is an effective medium for instilling knowledge of discipline and responsibility in students. Instilling feelings of discipline and responsibility in students is The Youth Red Cross Extracurricular has proven to be an effective medium for instilling feelings of discipline and responsibility in students. The cultivation of discipline and responsibility character through the Youth Red Cross extracurricular is realized in routine training. The suggestion for schools is to involve instructors to participate in Youth Red Cross training courses
