Abstract

Open Journal Systems (OJS) has become the dominant platform for scholarly journal publication in Indonesia, with more than 8,500 active journals in 2024. However, the growing cyber threats targeting academic infrastructures demand the development of digital forensic methodologies specifically tailored to the OJS ecosystem. This research develops a comprehensive framework for digital forensic investigation on the OJS platform through the analysis of 45 security incidents that occurred in Indonesian scholarly journals during the 2022–2024 period. The proposed Digital Forensic for Academic Publishing (DFAP) methodology covers preservation, acquisition, examination, analysis, and presentation, specifically designed for the OJS architecture. The implementation of this framework in 12 real-world cases demonstrated a success rate of 89.3% in data recovery, 76.2% in perpetrator identification, and 94.4% in operational system restoration, with an average resolution time of 72 hours. The study also identified 15 common vulnerability patterns in Indonesian OJS installations and produced 28 security recommendations that can reduce incident risks by up to 67%. The main contributions of this research include the development of OJS-specific forensic tools, the standardization of investigation procedures for academic institutions, and the establishment of the Indonesian Academic Digital Forensic Database (IADFD) as a knowledge-sharing repository.

Abstract

Kantor Kecamatan adalah suatu kantor yang terletak di Pijoan, Jambi Luar Kota Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Dalam pengolahan data arsip serta penyediaan laporan pada Kantor Kecataman Jambi Luar Kota masih dilakukan dengan mencatat data dalam formulir dan merekap serta menyimpan berkas pada rak atau lemari berkas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa sistem yang sedang berjalan, agar dapat mengatasi masalah-masalah yang dihadapi pada pada Kantor Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Muaro Jambi, dengan cara merancang Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pengarsipan Surat Berbasis Web Pada Kantor Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Muaro Jambi. Kerangka Kerja Penelitian yang akan dilakukan dalam penyelesaian masalah yang dibahas yaitu, melakukan identifikasi, melakukan pencarian informasi berdasarkan landasan- landasan teori, pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi dan wawancara, menganalisis untuk mencari solusi atas permasalahan yang didhadapi Kantor Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Muaro Jambi. Metode Pengembangan sistem menggunakan model air terjun (waterfall), implementasi penelitian ini menggunakan Bahasa Perograman PHP dan DBMS MySQL. Hingga menghasilkan aplikasi pengolahan data yang di harapkan dapat mempermudah dalam pengolahan data maupun pembuatan laporan.

Abstract

Limited blood supply and increasing demand for transfusions require an accurate and objective selection process for potential blood donors. Determining donor eligibility is still done manually, which can potentially lead to inaccurate decisions. This study was conducted with the aim of applying the SMARTER method in developing a decision support system for determining the eligibility of potential blood donors at the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Majene. The SMARTER method was used because it can accommodate various criteria with Rank Order Centroid (ROC) weighting based on their level of importance. The criteria used include blood pressure, hemoglobin level, body weight, medication consumption, age, length of last sleep, and medical history. Data was obtained through observation, interviews with PMI officers, and literature review. The calculation results show that the SMARTER method is capable of producing an objective ranking of alternatives. Of the five prospective donors tested, alternatives A1 and A3 obtained the highest preference value of 0.6314 and were declared eligible as blood donors. Thus, the SMARTER-based decision support system can help improve the effectiveness and accuracy of the blood donor selection process.
